As i said before Silent Ones will rise Again. X The Last Hurrah... 2/29/00 - @9:00pm EST Howdy y'all. I guess its my turn to give my final farewells to the clan, and all of you guys. It all started out with Madskill carrying on the SO torch. He brought it to life, bringing Sool, Meltdown, Panther into the light. I was brought in by Panther and Sool while Madskill was away. We did all we could to recruit new people. Stuzy, Silencer, Cure, they all came into the picture. We all vied to keep this clan going. Working to recruit new SO. Finding clan matches. Now, i dont know if any of you remember our first clan match, but it was funny. Those asshole cheating guys. I finally killed him with a detpack that fuckin...oh well...ahem...anyway. Well, we had a bunch of great times. It was great playing the night away with you guys. I remember me Sool, and Stuzy stayed up til 3 one time. We became friends with Gods of War, and Azlan. Stengthening our prescence. But then, the clan started to die down. None of us were online much anymore, and the holiday season put a cramp in everyone's time. We lost track of eachother for a while. The clan was dying. Many of us quit, including our leader, Madskill. The fire of SO almost burned out. But it was rekindled by Stuzy and myself. We strived to keep it alive, and burning. We brought the clan back from the brink, and Im glad all of you stuck with us. But it seems it could only last a while. Now, we all are going our separate ways. Out of the light of SO. Perhaps Ill see you all again, fighting on the battlefield. Sewell, Madskill, Ash, Stuzy, Panther, Cure, Silencer, Deadpool, Sickone, Warrior...Im gonna miss playing along side of yall fighters. I want you all to go out there and play your hearts out on the battlefield. In life, and in the game. Just play, and when youre done, the whisper of Silent Ones will blow across the battlefield. I just wanted to give a special thanks to most our German brethren over at [FFF]. As some of you know, they were absorbed into [SO] God knows how long ago, and primarily made up our European Division. Its been a long hard road this past year. Dealing with school, school, school well, thats all I've dealt with. With 2 weeks of Power School left, the Clan has succumbed to its fate and has fallen to its knees. For the best I supposse. The next 6 months are going to be yet even rougher for good ol Sool. Shift work is a bitch, mostly because noone knows when I'll be around, including myself. Its been a fun ride with you guys Ash, Stusie, Panther, Madskill. A hell of a trip. You guys will eternally be my clanmates no matter what the future holds for our individual paths. To all those that saw this coming and left earlier, thanks for the time and support. I have talked with the "5 Fathers" and we have decided to, to shut down the clan. The "5 Fathers??!" I bet you are wondering what the hell I'm talkin bout. I am as well as Ash, Stuzy, Sool, and Panther. We have been around the longest and we except for a few others have been commited to the clan since the beggining. I started the clan and Sool joined shortly after. Panther and Ash joined about 2 months after the clan was formed. Stuzy joined at the end of the summer but has been very commited just like all of us. We have all been fed up for too long. I remeber many times when just the 5 of us show up for a practice and no one else from the clan comes. It just has been going on for too long. So, we have decided the clan must be shut down. Now i have to write it all over a again. Oh well I will just write a short version of it. Anyway, I have come to the conclusion that the clan will basically stay dead until June. In june we will all be out of school and then we will have time for the clan with out all the damn homowork in the way (no I didn't spell homework wrong). However, I want to try to get the clan active. I want to have a clan practice TONIGHT at 8:00pm EST. I want everyone to try to come. Its always the same people that show up, Ash, Panther, Stuzy and Sool. I want everyone to try to be there. Yeah Yeah you guys bitch about how the clan isn't doing anything but hello. The clan is you and if you don't come to practice then we won't get anywhere. Also, I am gonna head over to my isp's website. I have heard about people who rent a Linux or Unix shell from their ISP which has like a OC3 connetion and run a server on that. I'm gonna read up on it and see what the deal is. I KNOW I'm not getting the cable now and I won't be on the computer for atleast 3 weeks. So, don't count on me being at the practice tonight. I got a 54, yes a fuckin 54 on a Math Chapter Test. So basically, my parents are going to kill me. They get mad if I get B's. So I predict that I won't be getting a cable unless I get A's in math the rest of the year and I won't be on the computer for oh since it was a Chapter test a month. 3 weeks is not alot. Atleast a month is more accurate. I called my mom at work and told her. I expect my dad to call in about oh 15 min. I think he's in with a patient now (yes, he is a doctor). Well its nice knowin you guys. I will probaly just dissappear for a while. So if i'm gone for more than a month without any contact with any clan member then just make me an inactive member and I'll be back in time. I have no idea how long I'll be gone but i'm in deep shit. Finally, no more gay 28.8 connection! I'll have it by about oh beggining of March or so. But when I do get it, I'll be a dedicated server. I have a Anthlon 500mhz (which i'll be overclocking at 700 in a year) 128mb SDRAM um ok video card but its really fast. I can't wait. I'm pretty sure my computer will make a really good server. I can't wait. Also, since I have two computers I can make this one a dedicated one for clan practices and I can go upstairs and use my old computer. It'll be phat!! I can't wait. In other news, it seems that the clan won't really be that active till June or so when everyone or atleast most of us are out of school by then. I just ordered a 32MB TNT2 Diamond Viper v770 last night (well actually this morning around 12:45) and I'm going shopping for 64-128 meg o ram today after work. Im also thinking about either a harddrive, CD-R or Wacom pen and tablet too..tell me which one (I can only get 1 :( )Anyways, I prolly wont set the server back up untill the upgrade is complete, so sorry. This weeekend, i plan to finish the site up and we will start tryouts and see who is still here. I'm sorry to say, but [SO]MM3Sewell has resigned from his postion as co-leader. He said he was just too busy with school and family and shit like that. He is still in the clan but not playin a major role. Now, the co-leaders are [SO]Ash and myself. One of the reasons why the clan went to hell was cuz everyone was busy with school. We still are busy but were tryin to get back on track. I haven't had time to play more than 30min of TFC or Counter-Strike in like a month damn it sucks!
