At this site I found about 30 very nice wheat pennies. Two of these Coins dated from the 40's and the rest from between the dates 1915 to 1927. I didn't take pictures of these but I did find this most interesting 1919s wheat penny.
I was very exciteted to find my first 1919s wheat penny and to find it had such fine details. But once I got home and started cleaning it I found the most disgusting hole right thru Lincons' head.
Sorry the picture is lacking detail, but the Red book rates it as MS-63 (70$$) just to give you an idea of its' condition. Another interesting find from this site is this 14K wide band gold ring. It is pictured here with the 1919s for size comparision.
The ring was inscribed" From grandpapa to fannie", and had been under an asphalt parking lot for over 50 years. That inscription and amount of time passing makes it impossable to return to the owner.
