I was in attendance last night at the milwaukee concert at miller park... with around 38,000 other people! it was just around 9 when *NSYNC came on, after we listened to tonya mitchell, eden's crush and 3LW. the first song they played was, of course, "pop" and the crowd went WILD! the other songs they played included "space cowboy" when they all rode on silver mechanical bulls and wore sequined chaps after we watched a mini-film showing the guys as cowboys.
They also played our old favorites, "tearin' up my heart", "i want you back", and "god must have spent a little more time on you". they also played "no strings attached", and "this i promise you". the new songs they played included "celebrity", and "up against the wall". the new songs from celebrity sounded AMAZING, but definitely not the slow type songs. they were upbeat, fast, funky, and very hip-hop-ish. the crowd loved the new songs.
At one point in the concert, the band split up the stadium in half to have a yelling contest. one half yelled out "y'all know that we came to rock" and the other half yelled "give us some of that dirty pop". that was fun. when they played "its gonna be me", they brought out a bunch of toys including a huge stuffed dog. the last song they played was "bye bye bye" of course, and at the end was a fireworks display. overall, i thought that this was the best concert i have ever seen! it was totally worth the $70 i paid for my ticket!
I have no voice because I was screaming so loud, but it was completely worth it. plus... a special added bonus -- julie from MTV's real world new orleans was in attendance, and a few of us got our picture taken with her! (i wanted to faint!) so the whole night was just amazing!
