Alright, let's start from the begining! The concert started off great. Meredith Edwards sang a few of her new songs, and during one of them, they showed previews for Lance and Joey's new movie On The Line. Then came Eden's Crush who showed off some good harmonies and great dance moves. After them were Dante Thomas and Samantha Mumba. The crowd was so pumped by them with the anticipation of Nsync to come out!
"Pop" was their first song to perform. At the beginning, there's a pyramid that emits color and opens and closes a bunch of times, making you suspect that they were going to come out of that. Then, dressed as munks (hmmmm.... sound familiar?), 5 people walk out onto the stage. They did not have me fooled! I still had my eye on the pyramid, and sure enough, that's where they came out of!
After that came a mix of "Tearin Up My Heart", "I Want You Back", and "God Must Have Spent...". On "Tearin Up My Heart", they started out as they did at the VMA's in 1999 with the cool dance mix. And on "God Must Have Spent", they were up in the air on their pendulums just like last year.
After this came "Just The Two Of Us", which was a very cute fast/r& b/love song! Then came "Space Cowboys" which had the guys flying over the audience once again, but this time in cequined chaps. They then perform some of their old dance moves to the song, and then mounted themselves on five cool looking mechanical bulls. JC looked so sexy riding his! They did great on this song, although, I did suspect them to have been lip syncing it. If you listen closely, you can definately tell. :-(
They then performed their Grammy version of "This I Promise You". After that, they had a little video of Justin back in olden times being dumped by a girl. In the video, the guys are all there trying to cheer him up, but nothing works. Joey tap dances, Chris "golfs", and JC and Lance do a kind Three Stooges rendition of "pull my finger". Justin then turns to the audience and says, "I can't believe she's gone." It was so sad, especially because he had a tear in his eye! This led to them performing one of my favorite new songs, "Gone". I couldn't believe how much that song got to me. It was so pretty, yet so sad! In this song, Justin walks down the runaway, and kind of falls to his knees. Then he lays on his back on the ground, and gives us some good old "thrusty justy" moves! It reminds me of those good ol' days! :-)
Then the guys cheered up Justin by bringing out all kinds of toys and performing "It's Gonna Be Me" with their dancers. That sounded awesome, especially because they did the "One, Two, Three, to the Four" thing that they did last year at the VMA's. After that, they performed a new song that I really liked called "See Right Through You".
Then they went in to "Up Against The Wall" with, once again, their girl dancers, but this time with velcro outfits, velcro walls, and trampolines! I thought it was awesome! This song also showed off their amazing dancing techniques. After that song was finished, JC appears on the screen talking to his "girlfriend". She's complaining about how he doesn't buy her all the stuff she wants. But throught their whole conversation, the rest of the guys keep beeping in to show off their new 3-way calling ideas! This eventually angers JC and his girl. And so he finally says to her, "Are you really interested in me, or what I can buy for you?" That's when the guys walk out and perform "Celebrity" which looked really hot!
The guys then walk out the run way and on to the secondary (I guess that's what you would call it) stage. They sit down, read some letters from their fans, and dedicate their next songs "Something Like You", "Fallen", and "Selfish" to those fans. Those songs are the new ballads on their cd (except "Fallen" won't be on the cd). They were very good. The guys then perform, "No Strings Attached" on the runway. They did awesome on that song!
Then came one of my new favorites of the nightcalled "The Game Is Over"! I think this was where Joey hurt his ankle earlier this year, becuase when they first are on stage, they pop up into the air out of trap doors. Some might of thought that their video game theme was tacky, but I honestly thought that it was so cool!
After that, I knew that it was almost time to say goodbye, of course, "Bye Bye Bye" was next. They started with their video screen heads like they did at the VMA's last year. You can tell that they were singing that live, because their voices went a little faster then their faces did:-) It was funny, but I still loved it! Overall, I'd have to say that the concert was amazing! And their new songs are going to big hits! I had so much fun, and if any of you are going, I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did! Thanks!
