warning, this review is a bit long
ok, first i must say this was one of the best nights of my life! the show was incredible. i at first was going to go to the venue at about 6:30 then i ended up going a little later since i only lived about 15 minutes away. oh well, when i got there the line surprisingly moved pretty quickly and i was in within about 10 mins. then my sister and i went to go find our seats and then a while later Steve came onto the stage to do his usual speech and give out free stuff. i unfortunately wasn't on the floor so couldn't get anything. anyways, after Steve did his thing he explained that we'd have to wait a few more minutes because the opening acts weren't ready. so me and my sis decided this would be a good time to go buy stuff.
ok, then back at our seats, finally Tonya Mitchell comes out and does her performance. i thought that she sounded pretty good, but she had on these boots that i know must have made her feet sweltering hot considering it was about 90 degrees outside. then after she left there was Eden's Crush and then onto 3LW. i don't remember much from them cause i wasn't really paying attention and i went to take a bathroom break before the rush started.
ok now onto *Nsync's performance. One word i'd use to describe it would be HOT! they were so good. they started off with "Pop" as usual and many people still thought that it was those 5 guys on the main stage that was *NSYNC. well, "Pop" was great then they moved onto TUMH/IWYB medley. nothing really to say about that except it was HOT! then it was onto GMHSALMTOY. it was great like it always is. i liked how they kept that pillar part in it, so others who were far back could see them. then they moved onto "Two of Us" and the main screen split in two and they walked down these stairs singing. i loved their little dance they did to this song. "Space Cowboy" was next and the whole sliding down that wire went smoothly (which i'm sure pleased Joey)
The intro with Lance and Chris was so hilarious! this whole song performance was so sexy. the whole riding the bull thing made my temperature go straight through the roof! Chris did his little strip tease at the end and shook his booty which made me laugh. he looks so much more sexy in person too, just like the rest of them. after that was "TIPY" grammy style. nothing really to say here either, except Justin didn't get stuck this time. "Gone" was next and the song was so beautiful. that black/white movie was so well done and set up the song perfectly. Justin really does get into this song. oh yeah the thrustin' made my day too. "Its Gonna Be Me" was done with that whole 1,2,3 to the 4 thing like on VMA's. Lance kept spraying people with silly string and enjoying himself a little too much i might add. i think that this was the song where they had each side of the audience out scream eachother. well our side won!
Onto "See Right Though You" and i don't remember much about this song except that they used that conveyor belt thing and had some tight dance moves. "Against the Wall" was another one of my favorites. when JC got stuck up on the wall he had a little trouble getting off at first, but eventually everything worked out. Oh, yeah, his hear was so out of control. it looked so wavy and curly. i guess it must have been all that sweat he was producing cause it looked like he had dumped his head into a bucket of water. but he still looked good. "Celebrity" was one song i could barely hear cause off all the screaming, but from what i did hear it sounded pretty good. Loved the way they got all decked out and strutted down the catwalk. the 3 slow song snippets was next and they were all beautiful. JC kept throwing his bottle of water on the audience. "No Strings Attached" was great too.
I loved the part where Justin tried to use his little "magic powers" and made all those explosions go off. Then they all tried to make us believe that this was the end and they left. people actually got up to leave since they were taking so long to start the next song. then finally it started and that Mobius guy did his thing that seemed to be a little long and useless to me. then Jc and Joey popped out of the stage and sung the first verse. their whole dancing was robotic type moves that looked really cool and complicated. then Justin, Lance, and Chris popped out and joined in the singing. eventually those dancers came out and *NSYNC battled and beat them as well as Mobius. ok then they ended with, what else, but "Bye, Bye, Bye". it was awsome as usual. i was so sad to see them go.i hope they have a second leg cause i want to go again. oh and if any of you were wondering Justin's tattoo was still there so it must be the real deal after all. don't know if britney was there, but some people behind me sweared they saw her. i think it was just a look-a-like though.
