Creating Desktop URLs

    To create a link to a web address in Microsoft Internet Explorer, you can choose File|Send|Shortcut to Desktop.

   You can also create a shortcut directly on the desktop without even running Microsoft Internet Explorer. To create a web page URL shortcut, right-click a blank spot on your desktop and choose New|Shortcut. When the Create Shortcut wizard opens, type in the URL in the form
