
Students
There are approximately 1200 foreign and 800 local students studying at the University. The foreign students comprise of as many as 55 different muslim and non-muslim countries. They live under a healthy brotherly atmosphere, with mutual exchange of language, culture and traditions. This in a way serves as a learning process outside the academic environment. There are both married students, living with their families, as well as bachelor students also. In some cases, both husband and wife are studying in the University.
Academic Life
The academic year begins in September and ends in August. The University follows a semester basis system, in which there are three semesters viz. Fall, Spring, and Summer. Fall semester is from September through December, spring semester is February through May, and Summer semester is from mid-June through mid-August. However the summer semester is optional, meaning those who wish can have summer holidays. Winter holidays are given right after end of fall semester.There are also Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Adha holidays.
At the end of each semester there are final examinations, in addition to mid- term exams, and class assignments, papers etc. The University follows a credit basis for grading, with variable grades where:
A Grade = 80% and above
B+ Grade = 75%-79%
B Grade = 70%-74%
C+ Grade = 65%-69%
C Grade = 60%-64%
D+ Grade = 55%-59%
D Grade = 50%-54%
Fail (F) = below 50%
The following are the extra curricular activites held by the Student Activities Committee for the students of the University round the year. These provide a healthy and refreshing "break" for the hard-working students.

There are various student organizations of different ethnicity formed to promote their respective cultural understanding within the Islamic Brotherhood environment. The following are the current student organizations on campus:
