DETAILS:

The Sunrub type WA wiper has a lip designed to remove dirt, mud, dust, moisture,etc. accumulating on the rod.
The wiper is manufactured from a high hardness NBR compound suitable for installing in a grooved housing.
To prevent dirt passing the outside of wiper and to reduce the pumping action, the outside diameter has an interference fit with the housing. Due to excellent wear resistance of polyurethane the life expected is 3 times that of NBR.
Sunrub Type WA wiper is also available in FKM (viton)
