That's me on the right with Chris Lyerly on bass at a House Concert in our house.

That's me and my sister with a member of the band "Big Jerry" after we played in W.C. Handy park on Beale Street in Memphis on New Years Day, 2000.

From left: Chris Lyerly, Bass, Kathy Crockett, rhythm guitar, vocals, Howard Moore, drums, Susan Dawson, rhythm guitar, Gene Dawson, lead guitar, vocals.

This is a band from 1960's. That's Harry McLellan on the left and me next to him (with my Gibson SG Standard).

Here is a picture taken in 1963 at Memphis Tennessee's Treadwell High School talent show. We were Juniors and our band was called "The Imperials". I'm on the left on lead guitar, Richard Zini, drums, Alvin Simpson, rhythm guitar and Bobby Fisher on sax. This picture was included in a book called, "The Memphis Garage Rock Yearbook, 1960-1975"

Alvin and I were both playing Sears Silvertone guitars. Mine was given to me in 1955 on my 9th birthday by my Mother. I had it restored it to playable condition (See picture on main page). This guitar is now included in the collection of The Rum Boogie Cafe on Beale Street in Memphis, TN. Also, I still have my red Imperials vest. Odd fact: We were an all-instrumental band and could play for 4 hours without repeats. We played dances and proms and were on local Memphis TV.
