A Match Made In Heaven

The envy in my eyes,
Faded as I saw,
The truth that stood before me,
His happiness through my lies.
The way he looks at her,
And the glance he receives in return,
It's quite obvious to me,
Their purposes to each other served.

And I must admit,
The pain that throbs inside,
When his happiness stabs at me,
Like the blunt cool knives.
But in my eyes I can see,
What the depths of my heart perceive.

That you two must be,
A match made in heaven,
Sent to earth to spend,
Your happy eternity.
You two must be,
The match God picked himself,
Blessed with his very hands,
Perfect for each other's needs.
