I Will Be Waiting

Even when the sea goes dry,
My eyes too tired to cry,
I will still be waiting.
Even when the summers become cold,
And loneliness is all my world,
I will still be waiting.

I know that you are out there,
Beneath the pale blue sky,
I can feel that you are somewhere,
Already in my life.

Maybe one day I'll grow old,
My hair begins to gray,
Just know that I will still be waiting,
For you to take me away.
Galloping down ontop a white horse,
My knight in shining armor,
You'll come to me somehow, someway,
And I will be waiting.

The seasons will change,
And colors will fade,
But my love will go on strong.
The breeze will cool,
And leaves will fall,
But I will still be waiting.

Rocks might rot,
Mountains might move,
But I will still be waiting.

Eternity is a long long time,
Forever will never be mine,
But I will still be waiting.
