This is a fairly recent one from Xila, which I recieved a few days ago. She wrote another one today, which is also posted, so read this first and then go read the next one. And send her email! She demands it!

Hey dudes ; I am really terribly sorry I haven't written for ;oh I don't know how long!! But all the other letters I wrote were from my WORK addy and then I didn't work in a place where I had any access to an account ;and then it took a long time to set up our internet account and address-and bills-and then my mo couldn't work it..but it was really funny! She called the company helper peoples (y'know the computer guys who tell really stupid people over the phone which button to click ;) about 10 times and had the funniest conversations, I bet the guy she talked to thought he was sooo smart after talking to her! Anyways after a week of trying to get on for more than 10 minutes at a time- I have succeeded in starting this letter!

Well I haven't really been up to all that much ;after I got grounded the bit of a social life I had slowed down ;then everyone went out of the country on vacation. But I've been hangong out with Chuck a bit ;who is really great but he leaves for college in the states on Thurs (sob). Oh! On Friday Chuck, Jeremy, Erika, And I (Jeremy and Erika are both sophomores in college and were summer hires at the embassy-as their parents work there) we went to Tivoli (y'know the world famous amusement park) and saw a free concert of the bloodhound gang ;we got in free cause Chuck had a gold pass card or something ;we got there right before it started so it was rather crowded and we had to go in the very back ;I saw NOTHING ;I hate being so short! And I never really realize how short I am until I'm in places like those and everyone seems to tower over me! And I was wearing my platforms! UUUURRGGHHHH!!!!!!!!! Ahwell-what can you do? After that we went to a special midnight showing/Premier of Scary Movie! It was sooooo funny!!! A little to much Penis Humor-but definitely worth it! And then Chuck drove me home(he's 18 ;so he can drive in denmark w/his American license) I got home at 3:00 am. It was a VERY good night.

I don't know if I have much else to write about at the top of my head ; oh let me say how very dearly I appreciate those who've sent me REAL e-mails, not just forwards ;Teresa(who wrote me a ton!), Tab, Jessie, Felecia, Christina, and Pam. On thurs. I have to take the entrance exam for School i ;.am ;..so ;..excited ;.. you should see the place-it looks really bad form the outside-it was 15 foot fences ;I guess they really discourage skipping. Actually I'm so bored I almost want school to start- it starts on the 21..oh my god!!!!!!!!!!that's less than 2 weeks!!! My goodness does time fly when you have nothing to do ;..I can't wait to meet new peoples ;it's an international school ;I bet there's a couple Australians ;yummy ;

oh! I went to Bakken-it's another dinky amusement park type place. They have this one really good ride-I call it the eggbeater. Ok it set up like a swing almost ;you face outwards and everyone is strapped in between two posts on either side of the big ship ; (all the seats are on one plat form) and then it swings you up ;and up ;and when you're right upside down and veryhigh up it twirls and twirls and then it sets in a very stange angle and you hurtle toward the groung ;.it was really good but sometimes the guy in the control booth left the thing upside down too long and it hurt a bit. The second time I went on it..the guy in the booth was flirting with me- he saw me coming and shut the window and was like why do you want to get on again ; nah-I'm not gonna let you on ; how badly do you want to get on? ; eventually he had to let us on ;and that's the end of that story.

Y'know I've seen almost all the movies open in Denmark now ;tell me what comes out there and what's good(things come out later here, some things about a month and some a lot later) I saw the perfect storm-I didn't really want to but there was nothing else to see, and nothing else to do! It wasn't that good I thought- a rather monotonous plot ;.and too much water ;and I don't think I really like George Clooney ;but I like Johnny Depp! He is a hotty! And he has the best cheekbones in the world! He was in Benny and Joan-VERY good movie! He was sooo great in it.

Lets see-I have discovered NO good music stations ;but I found a fairly good music store and I got Silverchair-Freakshow, Matchbox 20- Mad Season, and Live-The Distance From Here. And my sister got the new Eminemcd-but it might as well be mine ;-) anyway I love my new cds! I haven't listened too much to the Eminem-but I like him. I want a Tonic cd and a Lit and Jump Little Children and hmm ;.. I can't think of anynow- I should write them down ;.i had a list of cds I wanted to buy but I lost it ;. (oh and teresa-yes a already have the other 2 creed cds)

You know what? They have 7-11 here and no Slurpees! What's a 7-11 without Slurpees!! Damn wrong if you ask me!

Don't know what else I have to say..so I'll write some more at another time. LOVE TO ALL I miss you guys Xila

And there's just another example of how exciting life is in Denmark. We should all move there. ^_^
