blanket
Of a Winter's cold

softly, reaching

Caressing, holding,
divining
Our inescapable
wanting,
longing

for the

time and knowing
love
Love among the
angels
Dreamy looks
intensely given
Clinging to
the warmth
of our intensity
We kissed now
with the passion
of an old
religion
And choirs of
lovers past
renewed their fervor
Drawn by our
strength
As our love
cascaded
Our blood flowing
as we consumed
