Pink Hibiscus

You ask me my thoughts
on Irene's watercolor
That delicate expression
of cool oriental magic
Of brittle porcelain and
ivory filigree visions
Pure pink hibiscus hanging
in a wistful lament
Of loss and longing
And yet determination
Pastel pink pure love
In the kiss of life
A returning, reawakening
A new birth in pink
hibiscus
Loves lament and
new meaning
Remembrances in
a floral passion
