Love's Destiny

It was a distant call,
a fantasy
In the middle of
the night
You came into
my life
Young and vibrant
You came and
destiny played
its hand
Unreal the
beginning
And yet the
forces of destiny
Pulled us into
the path
Of loving calm
Unreal, unlikely
a union of
disparate lives
Yet fate had
played its cards
Souls in a
race to find
communion
Enraptured, engulfed
in the passion
of familiarity

How strange the
meeting
The warm embrace
Cold soft lips curling
around one another
Enticing, in ecstasy
of a reunion
Lost souls in an
eternity of
wandering
Found again
And lovers we were
as only lost souls
reunited
can be
A passion of boundless,
depthless discoveries

And each time we
met
The bond intensified
Such that we could
no longer
be apart
The torment of
being torn asunder
was
beyond
what
the soul could endure
Each time together
More and more we
grew in understanding
of our destiny

The inseparable truth
that separation
was unbearable
And the driving force
that threw our
lives together
In one life now
two souls
connected
in the
ballet of
belonging
Our passions consumed,
rekindled and
constantly
stimulated
The electrifying magic
of a lovers
needing

It was a distant
call that
brought us together
And meeting we
were familiar
As though we
had never been
apart
Improbable it seemed
Yet each meeting
brought us
to the realization
that our lives
are inseparable
In love's destiny
