And in so many, many
different ways
How we met and there
was magic
And how it kept
getting better and better
Deeper, broader,
more vivid
And now you are gone
Well it hurts so much
I never knew a heart
could suffer so much
And still go on
I was thinking how much
I love you
In the quiet places
among the flowers
In a meadow of Spring
flowers
And in the street
wandering hand in hand
The simple things were
so pleasurable
A laugh, a brief kiss,
a longing look
A smile, a pained
expression
I remember all this
And still go on
