| WHAT CAN I SAY ABOUT THIS AWESOME CREATION! #1 IT IS THE BEST RIDE I HAVE EVER RIDDEN. FIRST DROP=10,
SECOND DROP=10, THIRD DROP=10+10. THE AIRTIME YOU GET ON THE THIRD DROP IS PHENOMENAL! I'M SORRY I KNOW THERE MAY BE BETTER RIDES OUT THERE BUT I HAVEN'T BEEN ON ANY OF THEM YET SO WHEN I DO I WILL THEN REPLACE THIS COASTER AS #1 ON MY LIST. -posted by: shawn 9/19/00 |

| Well, I am pretty new to coasters and this was definitely the largest and fastest I had been on yet. We saw it coming in and it seemed really tall. Only when we were right next to it did we realize that it's not just tall... it's insane! Once we were on, I was happy to see that the train really accelerates on the lift hill so you don't have to sit in anticipation forever. Still, it is just amazingly tall when compared to anything else in the park. At the top, we slowly started pointing downwards, and farther, and farther! It almost seems like you are bending back in on yourself. You get something like 7 seconds of free fall then you scream into a turn and up the second hill (which happens to seem taller than anything else in the park, EXCEPT the first hill). You catch great airtime at the top. Next is down the hill and into a lightning quick helix. You then go back and into a third hill. This hill is about half the height of the 2nd but seems to give even better airtime. Then into another great helix and back over a quick hump parellel to the lift hill. You then get thrown over two more hills just FULL of airtime! Then into the brakes... WHOOHOO!! DO IT AGAIN! This is definitely the best coaster I have been on so far. Just so you know, the cameras are on the first bunny hop hill coming back into the station if you like to do mug shots and stuff. -posted by: Joshua Wilcox 9/5/00 |

| There are better rides out there. Millennium Force was great. I was there last month and it was awesome. -posted by: eric 8/27/00 |

| WOW! What an awesome ride! This is definitely the best coaster I have ever been on! The 200 foot drop was amazing and the air time on the smaller hills made me want to ride over and over again. It's a "must ride" IMO! -posted by: Tammy 8/25/00 |

| This was the best ride ever. No rollercoaster can beat this ride. I like everything about it. Especially the 200ft. hill that drops 197ft. -posted by: Ahmir Robinson 8/24/00 |

| Yes, Superman: Ride of Steel is a great addition to Six Flags America. But it's not the best coaster I've been on. This summer I went to Cedar Point in Ohio. There are 14 rollercoasters there including the new Millennium Force, with a 300 foot first drop at 80 degrees. Superman is a great ride, but it's good to know there are better. -posted by: Wes 8/24/00 |

| WOW! Superman is a perfect addition to the park and currently my second favorite coaster. Once onboard, the train is dispatched and soon makes way over to the steep lift. This must be the fastest lift hill I've ever ridden. Great view of the surroundings as the train finally tops out at 200 feet. And then, the track gets steeper, and steeper, and steeper. I even heard passengers swearing that it curved under.
Definitely my #1 drop of all time. The power of the ride is fully felt and it looks every bit like 75 miles per hour with the ground so close to your head. And rocketing up the second hill is just as exhilarating as the first drop. Airtime! The first straightaway is hardly noticeable and helix #1 soon begins with decent positive and lateral g's. After the helix, the second of the straight-aways is the only one I really notice but with an enclosed tunnel, could fit in great. The second Camelback provides more great airtime and into the last helix the train speeds. Maybe slightly too long, but the dive afterwards makes up for it in my opinion. The wobble hill - WOW! All noise generated by the ride completely stops as the road wheels float off the rails. Not to mention the fantastic airtime as all riders float off their seats. The small trims aren't on and if they're magnetic, I wouldn't even even know that they were there. More airtime over the last hops before the brakes safely kick in at the last minute. Great coaster addition to SFA but IMO, anything Intamin designs turns to gold. -posted by: Blast Coaster 8/18/00 |
