Assateague Camping Trip

June 15 - 17, 2001

Attention Scouts and Scouters:

Registration deadline: June 7 Troop meeting

Scouts and Scout leaders are invited to camp (tenting) with Troop 613 at Assateague National Seashore Park, June 15 - 20, 2001. The National Park facilities are primitive (cold showers, port-a-pots).

Scouts who are First Class and above will participate in a 1/2 day deep sea fishing trip on the Miss Ocean City (Saturday, June 16, 8-00 to noon). This is a sizable fishing boat with full facilities. The cost for this activity is ~$25.00. (You are encouraged to bring a small cooler and snacks with you on the boat.) Bait and tackle are provided.) (Will plan only if there is sufficient interest)

Please return the Permission Form below by the June 7 Troop meeting so appropriate plans can be made. Please, no late registrations!

Permission Form: Please complete one form for each scout attending.

I give permission for _________________ to attend the Troop 613 Assateague Camping Trip and Deep Sea Fishing Trip (if applicable) June 15 - 20, 2001. I authorize adult leaders to authorize emergency medical treatment as necessary in the event that I can not be reached in an expeditious manner.
