The decree of the Congregation for the Propagation of the Faith A.A.S.58,1186 (approved by Pope Paul VI on October 14, 1966) states that the Nihili Obstat and Imprimatur are no longer required on Catholic publications that deal with private revelations, provided they contain nothing contrary to faith and morals.
