If you're a Windows 98 user with ICQ installed you may experience the following problems with the screensavers:
- The screensaver doesn't appear to start, or will only "flash" on momentarily.
- When preview is clicked under display properties/screensavers, nothing happens or the screensaver only "flashes" on momentarily.
- If the ICQ window is open, the screensaver won't start.
It has come to my attention that when ICQ is loaded on Windows 98 startup or via the ICQ's NetDetect, you will experience the
above problems. If you don't use ICQ that much, you could uncheck the Launch ICQ on Startup under the Connection tab in the Preferences section of ICQ. Secondly, you could do what I do and double-click the ICQ tray icon, then minimize the ICQ window. After doing so your screensaver will run normally.
NOTE: So far I haven't heard of this behavior under Windows 95, but try the suggestions above if you notice any problems.
