Rinaldo Mornigtea.... Rinaldo Morningtea was a scout for the Barony of Adder Swamp. Adder Swamp is located in the Southwest Corner of Chessenta Bay. Adder swamp actually surrounds the small barony, and is infested with lycanthropes. Rinaldo is the son of a logger and spent many of his formative years learning the woods with his father. He further developed his skills in the woods by hunting for his family and other families while his two older brothers worked the family trade. Over time with his knowledge of the area, the local troops began to use him as a scout on occassion until he proved his worth at which time they offered him a job as full time scout. Once Rinaldo was hired as a scout for the Baron's forces, Rinaldo was sent to the Sylvan Elves in the Chondalwood. There he learned the use of the shortbow and how to hunt from the Sylvan Elves. Upon learning these skills, the Sylvan Elves introduced him to the forest gnomes who taught him movement through the woods and camouflage. Upon his return to the Adder Swamp Rinaldo took used his new found skills to scour the woods protecting the border as best he could. He avoided out right fights with the lycanthropes, but was more than willing to ambush any other intruders. Unfortunately, while coming across a party near the bay, he went to welcome the party only to find out they were brigands from a nearby ship. That was a few months past. He was just biding his time to gain his freedom, gather his effects and head for home. | ||
