Tollong stands at the door with Borathor "well what do you think we should do?"

Borathor looks back to Tollong and grins widely before replying, "Break it down!" pointing at the door with his left arm.

[Tollong]: "ok well we both try we will be more successful together"

[Borathor]: "Ok, on three we go together." He then begins to count to three while getting ready to put a shoulder into the door. Once he reaches three he lunges into the door in an attempt to break it down.

Tollong tries to time his shot with Borathor’s so that their shots against the door may strike together

Tollong and Borathor come smashing through the door sending into torn fragments and chunks of wood twisted with in its own iron crashing to the floor. While Syrenia searches over the trap area Tollong and Borathor come smashing through the door sending into torn fragments and chunks of wood twisted with in its own iron crashing to the floor.

[Tollong]: "HAHA it worked my friend "

Syrenia looks back the smashed door and Borathor standing over it..."Great, bring my weapons and come help me." She points to the floor before her..."The Paladin and the little guy fell in a trap."

Tollong brushes his self off

Borathor gains his footing after bobbling into the room. He looks around and immediately pulls out both of his blades in a quick flashy manner. "Damn! That hurt!" as he rubs his shoulder in a circular motion.

Syrenia looks at Borathor unimpressed and puts her hands in her hips..."Bor my weapons?"

Elina looks about and takes all the weapons from the pegs and stashes them in her sack before entering into the hallway with the others.

Tollong pulls his long sword and gets ready for a fight

Borathor looks back to her and laughs slightly, "Yes, about your weapons. "Why did you leave them?"

Tollong makes his way down the hallway careful not to step on anything

Syrenia shrugs..."I can't use most of them when I cast my spells...and the others insisted." She shrugs again.

Borathor walks back to the weapon rack and retrieves her weapons. He then re enters the area a hands them to her. "You should check and see if any of the other weapons out there have any enchantments upon them."

Tollong looks down the pit trying to see the bottom

Elina nods "I can do that don't worry about them."

Syrenia puts her weapons away in all her sheaths..."I'd have to study first and we have a more pressing trap to handle."

[Tollong]: 'well where are the others are they threw the door's?"

Syrenia gets on her knees and dusts away the floor and then calls out..."Bor you still have pitons? We have to block the trap while it closes."

Borathor nods to Syrenia and to the others in an assuring manner. "Ok, well from here out we need to be extra careful. If this place is anything like the last dungeon everything can be dangerous." He looks around as if worried just a little.

Syrenia sighs without looking at Borathor..."I know...I never should've let the little man go first. I hope this will make him be more careful."

[Borathor]: He then fidgets in his pack and produces a few pitons. "Here these should do nicely"

Tollong looks on "what are you guys doing?"

Syrenia looks back and nods to him..."get ready to bask them in." She points to a specific area..."It will open them." She smiles at Tollong..."just some of the group in a pit..."

Elina moves up a little closer to see "If you bang the pitons in how will the trap open?"

Borathor nods to her and gets ready to drive in the pitons at the spot she indicated.

Syrenia smiles at Elina..."I'll trigger it first...it will open...Bor will bash a piton between the trap and the ledge and the trap will block and remain opened."

Valin scratches his head, "hmmm" before moving back to the anti chamber doorway and sits down.

[Tollong]: "but don’t we need to get to the door?"

[Borathor]: Trusting her talents Borathor holds the piton and waits for the trap to spring.

Syrenia nods..."Of course but we should get them out first...Anyone else with questions?"

[Tollong]: "I be leaving my self out of this one"

Elina looks over at Syrenia, "So your going to be the goat to walk out on the trap right?"

Syrenia nods to Elina..."Have to trust in Borathor..." She smiles at him. "Hey Tollong mind holding on to a rope for me?" As she takes out a coil of rope and ties it around herself before holding out the other end to the fighter..."How about it?"

[Tollong]: "nope I don’t mind holding a rope"

Syrenia smiles at him..."Well hold it and let's get on with it."

Tollong grabs the rope and braces him self against the floor ready to hold Syrenia's weight

Syrenia approaches the edge..."Tollong hold out about 10 feet of rope. Bor you're still ready?"

[Borathor]: "Yes, just so long as you sure this is where to put the piton. " He points at the spot again and looks back to her.

Syrenia touches the exact spot again to clearly show him where.

Borathor nods to her and smiles, "Ready when you are!"

Syrenia nods to him and takes a step forward, over the trap.

Borathor takes the piton and quickly, at the rite moment bangs it in the spot that Syrenia pointed to earlier. A loud clang rings out as the piton is driven into the cavern floor.

Syrenia steps out onto the pit triggering the door to flip up and over once more before getting halfway the trap is wedged to a stop.

Borathor smirks with yet another amazed look on his face, "That is some good work"

[Tollong]: "well its open " holding the rope tightly

Syrenia smiles at him..."You've seen me do that plenty of times before." She looks down the pit as she unties the rope around her..."Hey down there!"

Elina walks up and looks down into the pit,' hard to see anything down there."

[Borathor]: "True, but I always am amazed that we get away with it. We need to be a little more careful when in these dungeons. The next pit might be filled with lava or acid."

Syrenia sighs as she ties the rope again around her..."Seems I have to go in too." She turns around to Bor "Help him hold the rope?

[Tollong]: "anyone got a torch we could drop it down there to see how far it goes"

Syrenia nods Bor."5 feet of rope length next time then."

Bilgrom is holding upon a corpse as he has begun to chat with Balthazar, waiting to be rescued. "So Balthazar’s be thinkin' we get t' learn swimming before they get t' us, huh?" As he notices the light coming from above he looks up and waves, while holding onto his human floater.

Balthazar strokes to stay afloat with practiced ease "I already knew how, but I am getting better."

Syrenia looks at Tollong..."We could hit them and we don’t know what's down there. Could cause a fire and kill them."

Borathor nods back to her while taking hold of the rope. "Why don't we just throw the rope down to him?"

Tollong holds on tightly "well it was just a thought

Bilgrom continues looking up and yells, "Yes. Throw rope!"

Syrenia looks down the trap..." They didn't yell bah.... Ohh ok then..." Unties the rope around her once again and drops it down the pit..."Here it is!"

[Tollong]: 'come over and help us hold the rope Syrenia"

Bilgrom looks over at Balthazar and then at the rope falling into the pit, "Bah. Ye’s go first, Balthazar."

[Balthazar]: "You first, if you slip I'll try break your fall"

Bilgrom shrugs and grabs hold of the rope, his weight should be easy to support. He begins climbing while bracing against the wall; "Well here I come. Heh."

Tollong yells down just tie the rope around you we will hoist you up"

Elina cringes her nose, "Eww it smells down there. They are going to be stinking us out up here." Stepping away from the pit opening.

Bilgrom seems to have thought climbing would be faster as his head pops out of the trap and he rolls onto the floor next to it. "Hoist him up. Not me."

Balthazar holds on to the rope

[Tollong]: 'well I thought you would be easy to pull up littler one" laughing

Borathor pulls on the rope once Balthazar is holding it well enough. He pulls on it until he sees him come over the edge. The unusually strong arms of Borathor from a laborious youth do the chore with little trouble.

Balthazar hoists himself over onto the floor and stretches his legs

Bilgrom nods and quickly makes his way to the other room where he retrieves his weapons and returns to the hallway moments later, "I's not goin' t' leave me weapons out there in this dungeon here, I tell ye! No friendly stronghold." And he looks over at Balthazar as he is pulled up, smiling.

Borathor grins and then hands the rope back to Syrenia. "Ok now what? "

Syrenia smiles..."We have to get across..."

Bilgrom points to Syrenia and grins, "Ye's be takin' care o' those trap now, what'ya say?"

Balthazar looks around and says. You have weapons... how did you get in here then?"

Borathor looks at Balthazar and then to the battered down door and smirks..."Lets just say I didn't agree with the mages rule of no weapons"

Syrenia chuckles at the Balthazar..."The Borathor way..." She points to the rumble at the end of the hall.

[Balthazar]: "Ah." he goes to the peg room to retrieve his weapons

Bilgrom pats Borathor on the hip, "Ah. It be good t' know we be havin' one ram amongst us."

Borathor looks down at Bilgrom and replies, "Yes, among other things my little friend. So, any suggestions about how to get across the pit I don't have enough pitons to bridge it"

Bilgrom looks up and shrugs while he cocks his head. "Well. Ye’s stop it midway through t' mechanism. Ye think not that ye can block it when it's closed, huh?"

Balthazar comes back to the room with a concerned look "My sword... it's gone. I should have been much more wary, obviously."

Syrenia scratches her head..."Could daggers work as Pitons?"

[Elina]: I might have taken it Balthazar when I took all the weapons off the pegs.

[Tollong]: "I don’t know I know nothing about traps"

[Borathor]: "No, but jamming it like Bilgrom said would be one idea" He scratches his head in thought. He then takes out some dried meat and takes a bite.

[Balthazar]: "Oh, well, I prefer you having it rather than whatever ruffians inhabit this place." he holds his hand out, flinging a few droplets of pit water in the process

Syrenia shrugs at Borathor..."Can you take out your piton?"

[Tollong]: "well maybe if we hold a rope the small one could get over to the door a pick the lock"

Bilgrom follows Borathor's lead and scratches his head, "Well y'know. If we's can get one o' them ropes tied t' the other side. I's be able t' tightrope walk at times. But it is very hard. Y’know." He shrugs again as he looks down into the pit, "There be an dead person down there. I think maybe it have somethin' worth gold pieces but Heh. I's not goin' t' swim down there."

Valin approaches once more listening in. "well see if you would of placed the piton two feet above floor level it would of allowed us to still walk on the floor once it flipped over, as well as have two feet of space to get the others out." Rubbing his chin while looking over the area at the doors.

[Borathor]: "Yeah, I should be able to do that with little trouble. The trap will reset and then we can try to jam it." He then goes over and removes the piton, then quickly jumps back.

Bilgrom draws his sword and dagger, staring ahead into the passage as Borathor removes his piton from the mechanism.

Borathor goes over and tries to remove the piton with all his might but is unable to free it from the lodged stone work of the hallway.

Balthazar takes a step back and scratches his chin, not being too familiar with traps.

[Borathor]: "That thing is really in there!" wiping his brow.

Bilgrom rubs his chin as he watches down upon the piton, "Bah. Ye’s could tie a rope into t' piton and we's all pull it out with ye?"

[Tollong]: "you need a hand there? Or do you have it?"

Syrenia shakes her head..."I can't wait when I'll be able to fly..."

Bilgrom looks up at Syrenia and snickers, "That could be arranged y'know."

Elina coughs, "Maybe one of those vials might help?"

Syrenia blinks..."Actually it could." She takes out her spellbook and begins to run her fingers over a page.

Balthazar rolls his eyes with a smile as he grabs random portions of his clothing one section after another, ringing it as best as he can "This is my second forced swim in recent days... I'm beginning to wonder if I won't grow fins soon, Haha!"

Syrenia looks up to the door and shakes her head as she closes her book..."Won't work. The trap is too wide."

Borathor ties a rope to the piton and grabs hold of it tightly, "Ok give me a hand here"

Valin turns and looks down at Bilgrom, "Think we can throw him that far?"

Syrenia takes hold of the rope.

Bilgrom scratches his head and looks up at the wizards, then at Valin and shakes his head. "We are try t' jam it first." Grabs hold of the rope in front, where he feels like he is most helpful.

Syrenia shakes her head at Valin..."Wouldn't work either, there's no space in front of the door for him to land on."

[Valin]: "They did that’s the problem" Laughing as he grabs onto the rope.

[Balthazar]: "What are you trying to throw? I have practiced with the spear much."

Tollong grabs the rope and tries to pull it out aided by Borathor

Bilgrom shakes his head at Balthazar and points to his head, "Does that look like an spear head t' ye. Duh!"

Syrenia looks back to Elina..."Don't you have anything to get one of us across?"

[Borathor]: When enough people have the rope Borathor begins to pulls hoping to pull the piton out of its place.

Elina bats her eyes, "Well yes dear I do now that you ask." Flinging her hair back with a twist of her head. "But it will take time to study and no one likes to wait while I study."

Syrenia shakes her head..."takes magic for you...study...study... study...

[Bilgrom]: "Ye tell me. How’d ye get t' identify them's potion o' yours, Elina?"

Syrenia looks at the group..."Are we willing to wait for her?"

With all of you pulling upon the piton you mange to free it from the stone sending the trap floor lid over once more before soon coming to a rest once more.

[Bilgrom]: "If first plan fails. Then we's wait for her. What’ye say?"

[Balthazar]: "Perhaps we should simply test each one of these stone tiles as we go? One of us stepping on a tile, tied to a rope, and the others holding the rope, we could know which are trapped and which are not."

Syrenia nods her head..."That's what I'll be doing from here on out."

Bilgrom shakes his head as he watches Balthazar and walks over to him for a closer look, "Well. Is it you that fell with me in t' pit, huh? Cause it seems like ye don't know what t' trap is. It’s big long trap. All those tiles."

[Balthazar]: "The hall being 3 tiles wide, there must be a safe path to follow, otherwise this would be rather annoying for the resident... That's why I would be tied to a rope. Those holding it can pull me out if the tile flips."

[Tollong]: "well now you can jam the trap so we can walk across"

Syrenia shakes her head to Balthazar..."No there's a hidden place around here where the resident can turn off the trap and pass without harm."

Bilgrom shrugs, "Resident can probably fly or climb on walls. Y’know." scratching his head he lounges the walls with an obvious interest, "Wha' if there be another way t' go t' avoid that trap. Huh?"

[Balthazar]: "Perhaps, but you're all speculating as much as me... Still you should indeed study your spells, they will make a good fall back plan..."

Elina shakes her head, "Hmm is it me or did they not say they were going to replace the piton once it reset its self?"

Bilgrom glances at Borathor and nods to Elina.

Balthazar shrugs, not having understood the details of that particular plan.

Borathor is still listening to all the mindless chatter as he bangs the used piton into the trap's edge in an attempt to wedge it shut.

Syrenia nods to Borathor and picks up her rope to tie it around herself again..."Someone will have to test it."

Borathor completes the fixing of the piton once more into the floor.

Syrenia throws him the rest of her rope.

Borathor looks to Syrenia, "Tie the rope around yourself, leaving five feet of slack and I'll hold the other end while you search ahead of us"

Syrenia smiles at him..."Done."

Balthazar arches an eyebrow but says nothing.

Bilgrom looks at Valin and Balthazar, "Any o' ye good at lookin' fer 'em secret doors?"

[Balthazar]: "I'm afraid not."

Syrenia smiles again at Borathor..."If you'll hold the rope..."

Valin snickers, "Syrenia will get it once she crosses over."

Borathor takes note of Balthazar's wordless gesture and smiles at him. "We have used this rope trick in many places. It was not my intention of stealing you light. I just thought I would mention that"

Syrenia shrugs and ties the rope around Borathor..."Now hold it..."

Balthazar shakes his head no; it's not that... I suppose how the idea is received is affected by who proposes it... I apologize, I will learn my place in this group soon enough."

Syrenia walks over the trap to test the piton's hold.

[Borathor]: "Your opinions are just as wanted as mine. It is just that Syrenia and I have traveled together for a while now and do things a certain way. As for the others I can't speak for them."

The piton must have taken for the pit does not open to swallow Syrenia.

Borathor moves with her keeping the rope tight...

Syrenia smiles..."It's good...Don't go over the trap...let's not overburden the piton. I'll get the door opened." Moves over to the door and begins to inspect it.

Bilgrom hops from one feet to the other as he sees the plan succeed and sigh’s, "Even me weight ye think will not hold? Bah. I wanted t' see how ye worked with 'em locks."

Syrenia kicks the door and quickly moves back a step.

Syrenia kicks the door with her foot, but nothing appears to happen.

Syrenia comes back next to the door.

Borathor readies himself for anything ahead. His blades are sheathed being both hands still hold the rope.

Bilgrom glances up at Borathor and shrugs, "She usin' Borathor method?"

[Balthazar]: "Try to pull it out"

Syrenia shakes her head...I think there might be a trap...just checking if it was on the whole door on only upon opening it."

[Borathor]: "Good thinking it may pull out and if not I'll try to break it down"

Bilgrom points to Elina "Y'know we in a wizard workshop t' lady say. Perhaps ye can make sure it be no wizard trap, huh?"

[Borathor]: "I think if it were trapped kicking it would have set it off"

Syrenia touches the handle for a brief instant before taking her hand off it.

Valin shakes his head Push or pull it you think she would have tried before kicking it, don't you think. I mean what like magic doors that just open when you approach them. That would be the day." Laughing to him self as he watches the lass.

Balthazar watches the wizard work at the door

Syrenia turns the handle quickly before taking a step back once again.

Tollong readies himself for what ever may happen

Bilgrom draws his blades again and leans against the wall to the right, watching Syrenia performing her many tests upon the door.

Balthazar unsheathes his sword, making a strange slurping sound with the scabbard

Syrenia hums..."The door didn't open."

Balthazar walks over

[Balthazar]: "Maybe it's rusted in."

Borathor moves close to the door and attempts to push, or pull the door open, using the knob.

Balthazar helps with the forcing

Bilgrom stands back by the end of the trap, watching them all go at once onto the jammed trap.

Pushing, pulling, and turning the knob has no effect.

Bilgrom shrugs and looks on, "Them's door might slide."

[Borathor]: "I suggest we try to break it down. Step back and give me some room." He then steps back and hurls his shoulder into the door with great force.

Borathor charges towards the door putting all his might into it, as he slams hard before bouncing off it upon and to the floor.

[Tollong]: 'well I told you I should help" laughing

Balthazar winces as he sees the ranger bounce off

Borathor gets to his feet and then tries to slide the door in either direction.

[Syrenia]: What is it made off?

Bilgrom looks back into the room, "I's be thinkin' this be all a setup. And there be a real other way hidden somewhere 'round t' room."

Balthazar shrugs and knocks on the door three times

The door does not slide to the sides as they are well fixed by the frame.

Syrenia scratches her head..."Did anyone touch or try anything with the skulls?"

[Balthazar]: "No we passed those without touching them."

Borathor looks at the frame and the wall around it for anything unusual. While he is at it he takes a look around the room for anything of the like. "It won't hurt to take a look if anyone can help"

[Tollong]: "not me I have not done anything since I was injured with the ogres"

Bilgrom laughs and heads back to the skulls, "Help me. You dumb skull!" He jumps up to get a look inside the eye sockets.

Elina looks at Tollong, "Why don’t you help him like you did on the last door.

[Tollong]: "well I will now that is if he wants my help"

Syrenia ponders about the skulls..."Skeletons carved into the door and 3 skulls in the hallway..."

The door is fixed to the frame, which sticks some 2 inches out from the stone wall that it hangs upon.

[Borathor]: "Is there a spot for the skulls to fit on the doors?"

Bilgrom smiles as he watches the door, and the heads of the skulls.

Balthazar looks for pegs or anything to which the skulls could be attached if they were moved on the wall

Tollong looks to Borathor "well you want to try that door with me this time"

There appears to be no possible way to affix the skulls to the door shy of hanging them in a sack by the handle.

Syrenia moves over to the nearest skull and tries to turn it or pull it.

Borathor rubs his shoulder, "If we have to, but I would rather try other methods first. I think that door is solid stone" he winces in pain rubbing his shoulder again.

Bilgrom also mentions about secret doors again, seeing no one actively searching for any.

Balthazar looks at the symbols on the ground...

[Tollong]: "well then try with the other ways then"

Borathor takes notice of the floor symbols and looks them over for anything revealing.

Bilgrom moves in around the room, glancing from the skulls to the door. And then back outsides. "Y'know perhaps we's can find a better way' t' do than just raid one's wizard workshop." He looks down the other passageway, towards the ogre's hideout.

Tollong stands there looking dumb at the door"

[Borathor]: Pointing at two runes on the floor aside an arrow pointing at the door he looks to the others. "Can anyone tell what the runes are?"

Syrenia ponders over a skull before looking inside they're sockets.

Bilgrom shakes his head at Borathor, "Not one chance. But maybe someone else."

[Borathor]: "Maybe if we place the skulls on the symbols the door will open."

Valin shrugs, "Maybe we should of shot one of those arrows down the hallway. The door said it would point us right, maybe the magic takes it to the trigger for the door?"

Bilgrom nods, not very fond of magical properties of runes and these sort of tricks.

[Balthazar]: "Can't hurt to try..."

Syrenia turns to Valin..."What arrows?

[Valin]: "The ones on the pegs in the other room."

Elina nods " I have them" digging into her sack she pulls out a quiver of arrows with 9 white feathered and one black. "Need the bow to?"

[Bilgrom]: "Perhaps it would be best t' know them's properties before we's just throw 'em at t' door and it break?"

[Borathor]: "I'll shoot it..." He pulls his bow out it radiates a light white light.

Valin looks about the door to the antechamber; "Well the door doesn’t speak anymore since it has been torn from its hinges by some unknown barbarians." Coughing gently afterwards.

Tollong looks around with a blank look on his face

Elina looks at Bilgrom "well again I would have to study in order to detect magic upon them. What about you Syrenia?"

Borathor laughs and then looks over at Valin; "I would leave the area before leaving my weapons. That is just foolishness. I did what I had to do and I will do it again if need be. Can any of you mages get the door open with one of your books or something?" the tone of his voice showing his aggravation.

Syrenia shrugs..."I could identify but we don't even know if they're magical..."

Bilgrom walks over to the other door, and takes out a few tools from his backpack, he has to stretch his arm to the best of his ability to work properly upon the lock.

Elina sighs, "I could but once again I would have to study to do so."

Balthazar watches as everyone works, obviously upset he's of no use in this problem...

Bilgrom stares at Elina, "Well ye's should get t' study. We’s can get a little rest anyway, my wounds starting t' hurt me a little."

Elina shrugs once more before again trying to study only to wonder when she will be interrupted again or left behind like always.

[Borathor]: "Ok lets take the time for you to memorize." He then sits down and leans against the wall while once again eating some dried meat he pulled from a pouch.

Syrenia takes her spellbook out..."Might as well study at the same time." Gets off the trap and sits down to study.

[Tollong]: "all this magic nonsense an none of you wizards have a spell to open doors"

Bilgrom after realizing there is no lock upon the door he makes his way back into the other room, drops his weapon in a corner and goes back to the door, giving it another try. Pushing, pulling, turning the knob, sliding it to the sides, and up and down.

Elina looks up as she readies herself. "I'll be a few hours so try not to break anything."

Bilgrom comes back yet again into the room and crumbles next to his weapons against the wall, sighing deeply. "Well. That wizard is certainly one t' let people in easily." And he decides to get some sleep while the ladies learn their spells.

Several hours pass quietly as the ladies seem to be finishing up with their works.

Borathor looks over at Balthazar and studies his attire. "So where are you from? Are you some sort of a knight or nobleman?"

[Balthazar]: "I hail from the border kingdoms actually... I thought I had mentioned it."

Tollong rests against the wall trying to tend his wounds as best he can

[Balthazar]: "And. I am a knight of Fustidio."

Bilgrom shakes himself and yawns as he gets on his feet and stretches his arms and legs, "We are about ready t' move on. Huh?" He looks at the ladies finishing off their studies and listens on to the discussion.

Borathor nods to Balthazar and then replies, "I must have missed that part. Ah! It is certainly good to see a high caliber warrior"

Elina gets up and makes her way to the door before stopping short of it by several feet. Before beginning her chanting and moving her arms in an odd manner. Before long she stops, "There try it now."

Bilgrom moves into the doorway and watches ahead, at the door, patiently.

Elina shrugs and goes to open the door, but again it does not open. "I don't get it that should have worked."

[Balthazar]: "Well I will do my best not to let you all down..." Looks at the door and frowns

Bilgrom finds it suitable to ask Valin just now what he found up in the mountain, "What'ye say. Bud?"

[Borathor]: "Perhaps this is just a false door and the real door or hidden door is behind us." He sighs and scratches his head in thought once again.

[Valin]: "Nothing just some large winged beast with a couple of heads eating, so I found it best to leave before I was next on its diet for the day."

Syrenia begins to cast a spell as the frustration is building in the room.

Balthazar goes over to one the skull on the side where there's only one of them...

[Bilgrom]: "One's guard perhaps. It could be fun t' go and greet it. Huh?"

[Balthazar]: "These three skulls make an arrow... maybe behind this point skull..." Takes the skull off the wall

Borathor watches Balthazar and nods to him, "It’s worth a try."

Syrenia looks back..."Did anyone ever fire the arrow on the door?"

[Borathor]: "No we aren't sure if that would work and it would be a waste."

Syrenia looks at Balthazar..."I think they're just lights."

Bilgrom shrugs. "Them's in me clan say some door need t' be channeled with t' positive or negative energy. Y’know. A cleric's holy thing Him wizard livin' here seems t' be lovin' skeletons, and undead. At worst we go and visit t' big couple-headed creature Valin saw. Y’know."

Syrenia puts her hands over her face and shakes her head..."This hallway might just be one big trap."

Bilgrom searches along the walls on the opposite sides of every skull in the hallway, perhaps for somewhere where one could attach the three other skulls, and so each skull would be facing another similar skull.

Syrenia sighs and begins to make her way along the walls, searching them with her hands.

Bilgrom shakes his head and pulls on his greasy hair, "Argh. We be just wastin' time here. Maybe we's should try somewhere else. Y’know." He glances at Valin and then the others.

While Bilgrom searches for places to place the skulls, Syrenia follows down the right wall then vanishes.

Borathor moves to where she vanished and looks around...

Bilgrom sees her vanish. And quickly follows her lead along the wall.

Balthazar follows sighing heavily

The arrow sits in the floor of the hallway nothing else is near where she vanished.

Borathor picks up the arrow and attempts to follow her.

Bilgrom watches the arrow on the ground, but moves on along the wall, rubbing it with his hands.

Bilgrom walks along watching the arrow that does nothing other then decorate the floor.

[Bilgrom]: "So wha’. I's too small t' fit in t' damn secret door. Darn it." He makes his way back into the room, shaking his head heavily.

Tollong rests against the wall

Balthazar goes down the right wall again, only this time running his hands along the wall

Rubbing your hand along the wall feels just a stone wall with nothing out of the ordinary.

Bilgrom mimics Balthazar, however he follows on the left wall. He also tries to remember where the arrow fell to the ground, in front of the skull? Shrugs and makes his way into the ogre room, then outside, just for a quick look at the surroundings, making sure no more ogres are coming, and also just for the hell of doing something.

[Balthazar]: "Perhaps each arrow gives the magic the energy to work. Strike another arrow into it and I will try the wall again."

Bilgrom grabs a white arrow and makes his way along the right wall as well once he gets back, running his hand along the wall too.

Trying to figure out what happened, Syrenia reappears.

Syrenia walks out of the illusionary wall..."Well come on...let's go..." Walks back in the wall.

Balthazar growls a bit as he walks into the wall...

Borathor shrugs and looks at the wall before passing through it.

Bilgrom shakes his head as he watches his hand. He passes by Elina and spots a shortsword sprouting out of her sack, "Mind if I's carry that around. Huh?" He then proceeds across the 'wall' as well.

The illusory wall opens into a 5' foot wide corridor illuminated by two more of the familiar glowing skulls. The corridor ends behind you. A black door stands ahead of you some 40' feet away. No hinges or handles are visible on the door, but an occasional ripple flows across its glistening surface.

Syrenia begins to look for traps on each tile.

Borathor sighs, "Oh great another door."

Bilgrom shakes his head at the sight of a similar passage, "Of course. It’s ' other twin door."

Syrenia makes her way down to the door as it begins to change. As you approach the door, a mouth and an ear form on its surface. The mouth speaks, saying, "State your name so that I may announce your entrance to all within the Outer Sanctum of Fesspel. I will let no one enter without announcing his name.

Tollong wakes up against the wall and looks around for the others

Syrenia looks back to the group before turning towards the door and saying..."My name is Belle."

Balthazar walks up to the door and says, "I am Balthazar"

Bilgrom steps up behind the others and shrugs, as he watches the door and waits to see what happens to the other two.

Borathor approaches and exclaims he is "Bort"

Elina approaches the door and says I’m Syrenia.

Bilgrom shrugs and looks at the others. "I's Bilgrom. With an U."

Borathor looks about "Where is Tollong at?"

Syrenia growls at Elina. Sighs..."Can you go get him?"

Bilgrom laughs as he notices how stupid they all look giving out random names. "Now this be how I's picture adventuring!"

Tollong looks at his wounds then to the hallway wondering where the others are

The door swings open and shouts, "Belle, Balthazar, Bort, Syrenia, Bilgrom with and U are now entering the Outer Sanctum."

Borathor makes his way back down through the wall, "Hey Tollong come on damn it quit screwing off."

Tollong follows his voice

With everyone just standing there the door shuts once more.

[Tollong]: "great you get me from one door to another closed door I hate this place"

[Bilgrom]: "I's wonder if t' door be bright enough t' know only four entered."

Borathor shakes his head; "You let the door shut again?"

Balthazar takes a few steps back "Step back everyone... we have to do it again."

Syrenia grunts..."Ok next time he asks...I'll be We...Bilgrom you be Need, Elina The, Borathor Staff, Balthazar For, Tollong The and Valin Mage Ok? Putting her hands on her hips..."Well?"

Bilgrom shakes his head as he takes a step back; "You sure it be that' easy t' go through these doors?"

Borathor looks upon her if she was nuts, 'Why do that we just had it open by using names?"

[Tollong]: "lets bust it down "

Syrenia shrugs..."Fine, fine" walking up towards the door again.

Tollong looks at the door "well are we busting it down or what"

Bilgrom remains on the other side of the door.

Tollong walks to the door "well you talk you want us to bust you down?"

Balthazar also walks up

As you approach the door, a mouth and an ear form on its surface. The mouth speaks once more saying, "State your name so that I may announce your entrance to all within the Outer Sanctum of Fesspel. I will let no one enter without announcing his name.

Borathor repeats him self.

Tollong grabs the ear and starts to pull at it

Syrenia looks at the others and shrugs..."Belle..."

Bilgrom shakes his head and stares at the door; "I am the one who dangles his feet. Bilgrom."

Elina also repeats herself once more to the door.

Balthazar does likewise

Elina smacks Tollong "Give it your name will ya."

The door swings open and shouts, "Belle, Balthazar, Bort, Syrenia, Bilgrom, and Bob are now entering the Outer Sanctum."

Balthazar goes through the door before it closes again

Bilgrom joins him rapidly, hoping to not be sucked into another dimension going through that rippling black door again.

Syrenia enters the door.

You are in a large room, 40'feet long by 25' foot wide. A door stands in the center of the walls to you left and right. Curtains hang along the walls to your immediate left and right, standing out from the walls at a distance of about 2' feet. Directly across the room stands a man dressed in a long black robe adorned with gray crescent moon. He stands on a stone platform with his back to you totally preoccupied with the runes he is painting on the back wall of the room. As you watch him, he finishes painting one row of runes, and begins painting another row directly below them.

Bilgrom stares at the scribe, and then looks back and forth between the doors, hands on his weapons.

Balthazar looks to Elina, motioning for her to speak since she is the only one present knowing the quest in detail...

[Tollong]: "well where through great lets kill this guy"

Bilgrom coughs out loud, attempting to get the attention of the painter upon the wall, "Hmm. excuse me, perhaps ye be knowin' where t' one by t' name o' Fesspel resides?"

Elina shrugs as she stays way back in the group, "Excuse me sir hmm hello, we came here to take your staff and leave."

The man pays her no mind as he completes the second line of runes.

Elina looks at Balthazar "I don't think he is listening to me."

Bilgrom moves over to the right door and examines it, "Syrenia. Y’should have a look at these doors. We’s need t' find t' wizard."

Syrenia shrugs and nods to Bilgrom.

Tollong comes up an grabs the man an says hay buddy where’s the wizard of the house where sealing dragon scales an we know he needs them

Syrenia goes to the door on the left wall and ponders on the scribe..."I wonder if he's evil or that mage for that matter." Turning her attention on the door as she begins to inspect it carefully.

[Bilgrom]: "I's take a bet it be another illusion. Who knows."

Tollong’s attempts to assail the mage are hindered when he walks smack into something in thin air at the base of the platform.

[Tollong]: "dam it"

Syrenia opens the door to the left.

Bilgrom waits on Syrenia to get done with her inspection as he moves aside her and checks behind the curtain briefly, then when she opens it he gets back to her.

Syrenia opens the door to a stone wall behind it.

Syrenia rolls her eyes and moves to the door to the right and inspects it.

Bilgrom nods to Syrenia as she moves to the other door and either pushes against the stone wall, or runs his hand right through it.

Syrenia opens the door to the right.

Syrenia tries to open the door but it appears to be locked.

Syrenia chuckles to herself as she takes out her lockpicks and begins to work on the door.

The scribe is now upon his 5th line of runes as he continues to paint on.

Syrenia sighs..."No luck..." Turning to the other door..."What to try little man?"

Tollong stands back away from the wall and looks about the room

Bilgrom shakes his head as he moves behind the curtains and then back out. And then glances at Syrenia "Maybe. Get, that man t' say somethin’. He’s be in a silenced cell o' something." Also takes out his tools and stays, a while next to that door, playing inside that lock.

Tollong feels along the wall looking for passages, stops an says nothing to be found here

Bilgrom takes a step back from the door, and slowly opens it.

Syrenia makes her way towards the wall of force.

Opening the door on the right side you see it opens to a 5' foot wide by 20' foot long corridor, which is illuminated by the same good ole skulls that you have seen many times before. A plain door stands at the far end of the corridor.

Syrenia looks to the others..."Do we bother with the scribe or do we just go on?"

The invisible force of something that feels like a wall seems to begin at the edge of the platform.

Bilgrom steps aside from the door and motions Syrenia to leave the man alone. "It be better t' go this way I guess." and he motions everyone else to follow.

Syrenia makes her way towards the right door..."Let me lead."

With that the scribe finishes his 7th line of runes and vanishes in a brilliant white flashing light causing all of you to squint and cover your eyes.

Syrenia slowly makes her way door the corridor, stopping at every 5 feet.

With the flash of light Borathor, Elina, and Balthazar find themselves blinded by the light. Bilgrom, Tollong, and Syrenia don't appear to be effected.

Tollong looks around at the blinded

Balthazar shakes his head a bit... "Blast... I can't see a thing..."

Syrenia sits down..."Just sit down and tell me when it's passed."

Borathor moves about, "Neither can i."

Bilgrom looks at Syrenia with a concerned look on his face, "Luckily I's get yer attention away from t' force field at that moment. What’s happen t' 'em?"

Syrenia shrugs..."the light blinded them it seems...it should fade..."

Tollong grabs one of the party’s hands, and places their hand on his shoulder. "I will be your eyes for now "

Elina begins to cry as she tries to feel her way round in the new found darkness of her life.

Bilgrom shrugs and leans against the curtain, "Alrighty then. While them's blindness fade. Wouldn’t ye's think ye could do somethin' worthwhile. Y’know like. Identifying’ some certain items."

[Balthazar]: "Or some certain item. Have you considered simply asking for it?"

Balthazar looks about vaguely as he speaks...

Bilgrom shrugs at Balthazar, "I's done it many time. And she gets all furious, y'know."

Syrenia shakes her head at the Paladin..."Ask who...that scribe never answered Elina."

You spend a good bit of time waiting in the area, as they seem to still be without sight.

Syrenia sighs..."Anyone got dispel magic?"

Bilgrom sighs with Syrenia, "Yep. I's carry this spell in me back pocket." Looks down t' passageway, "Ye think 'I’m wizard would cure them's blindness faster if we find 'I’m and gently ask, huh?"

Elina looks around to the voices. "I have it but I’m not sure I can do it now like this."

Syrenia sighs and gets up..."Tollong get all of them to hold the other by the shoulders with you at the lead..." Turns to Elina..."You do?"

Balthazar holds out both hands

[Elina]: "Yes the last time they let us rest I changed one magic missile for it."

Tollong draws his sword an leads the way

Syrenia approaches Elina..."Let me see your spellbook...I think it’s more powerful than a magic missile."

Balthazar is still holding his hands out waiting to be guided

Elina passes her the book.

Syrenia looks through the pages, looking for dispel magic.

Elina snickers at the young student. "See if you were a true mage you would know this." Smiling at the sound of her voice.

Borathor stares around blankly, "We should leave until we get our sight back."

Syrenia hands her spellbook back to her..."There's no dispel magic in here..."

[Tollong]: "but wont you get blind again when you walk in?"

[Balthazar]: "Perhaps only the blinded can walk through the shield...

[Elina]: "Yeah well if I could see I would show you."

[Balthazar]: "My order trains is followers to try the unlikely... Cover your eyes my friends, I'm trying it."

[Bilgrom]: "Ye's think this is an li'l hint we's should have an li'l trip t' town t' recover from all are' adventuring? We's got no one t' help us recover’."

Balthazar walks towards where he remembers the spell shield to be

Syrenia shakes her head..."do you really think we'll survive with all of them like that in the mountains?"

Borathor turns around to Bilgrom’s voice, "That’s it we need to find the dwarf he could help us and he is close."

[Tollong]: "yeah the dwarf I could use his healing touch"

[Bilgrom]: "T' dwarf. Or anybody really. As long as they can remove that' thing upon ye. And heal are' injuries."

Syrenia nods..."Let's go back then...We'll stay in the ogre's cave and those who can see will go off to find the dwarf."

Balthazar shakes his head. There must be a way through this... "

Bilgrom nods to Syrenia, "For safety. Ye’s could go under the influence of yer spell that' renders one invisible?"

Syrenia nods..."I guess I can go alone."

[Bilgrom]: "Or not alone then. But leavin' them's sightlessness would be stupid. Heh."

Balthazar frowns, even with his eyes closed.

Borathor looks about Valin can do it he is a ranger and since I can't do it."

Syrenia hums to her self..."I haven't seen him in a while..."

Borathor sighs, " don't see him either."

Balthazar shifts his weight on his feet...

Syrenia takes Borathor and Elina by the hand..."Get the others."

Balthazar holds out a hand again

Bilgrom lets Tollong lead them outside as he takes their rear, looking back, his eyes narrowed, "We's will return."

[Tollong]: "ok I guess I will lead them out an turns an starts out of the cave the way they all came in

You make your way back through the rooms and halls back down into the natural cavern of the ogre’s lair.

[Tollong]: "well I guess we should rest"

Bilgrom remembers of the many-headed creature Valin saw and sighs "Do rest. We are find t' dwarf and do our best. "We's shoulda went from t' top first." he mumbles to himself as he takes a seat.

Borathor sits along the wall towards the outside and sits down digging and feeling through his gear for a wine sack.

Bilgrom hides in a shadowy corner of the room, watching both the entrances carefully.

Syrenia sighs..."We need to find Valin so he can track the dwarf."

Balthazar also sits against the wall... Shakes his head in self-disgust

Tollong lies down and starts to rest trying to gain confront for his wounds

[Bilgrom]: "Hell with this outpost. Let’s find Valin. Go directly t' nearest town, have are' wounds and well. Blindness cured. We’s become almost entirely defenseless."

[Syrenia]: "And a giant appears and they're all dead because they can't defend themselves...we lost a lot of people with vision...."

[Bilgrom]: "And why be t' dwarf so stupid as not t' come back t' us. Are 'em dwarves not all brave and never runnin' from an battle?"

Borathor looks to the voices; "Well Valin or not Jarl has a good bit of time on you."

[Balthazar]: "If any of you are wounded I can be of help though... which of you needs help the most? I can't tell at the moment."

Syrenia shakes her head..."Forget about Valin, I'm going to find the dwarf myself."

[Balthazar]: "It's not safe out there and you know it"

Syrenia chuckles..."I can be invisible..."

Bilgrom nods to Syrenia and watches both the entrances carefully as he remains hidden, "Ye stupid spell usin' bastard. If ye's out there show yourself ye wussy!"

[Balthazar]: "Not all predators hunt from sight. But I'm in no position to do anything, unfortunately."

Bilgrom nods at Balthazar even if he can't see it. "We get t' point. There is nothin' you can do right now. Aye."

Syrenia shrugs..."I know that but I have a better chance of evading the rest of them then a large group of blind folks."

Elina snickers, "SO Balthazar saying Syrenia stinks are you?"

Balthazar shakes his hands in front of himself "No.... I don't think I can smell anything but that infested water I fell in at the moment."

Syrenia stretches..."Time to go..." She takes out her spellbook and begins to search through her spellbook.

Elina nods, "Yes I agree it was a bit on the smelly side down there, lucky for you two to have that log down there floating around for you to hold on."

Syrenia begins to chant in the arcane language of spell casting as she makes intricate patterns with her hands to channel the magical energies from the Weave. As she finishes, she vanishes from sight.

[Bilgrom]: "Ye have fun."

Syrenia chuckles out of nowhere..."I always do. Later."

With Syrenia off and running watching her invisible feet leave footprints in the snow as she runs off into the valley.
