[Thurs Aug 16 20:18:18 GMT 2001]
You can hear something shuffling about within the woods not far off from you. Preparing for what ever lurks about you, the fog limits your vision to the swirling masses of shadows darting back and fourth through the trees.
Malakai stands slowly; reaching for his axe, while letting, out a low whistling noise incase it is just Mythos wondering about their campsite.
Russeth slides back into the shadows behind the tree he had been resting upon and places his hands upon both the sword handles. Staring patiently in the direction of the shuffling.
Zakren peers off into the swirling mist of darkness trying to see what maybe creating the disturbance.
Elina stays close behind Russeth, mentally preparing a spell as she takes cover behind a tree.
The sounds seem too becoming from the under brush not far off but does not appear to be getting closer.
Russeth looks over at Malakai, "Is that you’re hmm. Pet comrade?"
[Malakai]: " I don't know... and he isn't my pet... I do not own him...."
Russeth sighs as he draws a circle around the camp and walks off into the bushes, drawing the blades before him as he kneels next to the brush the noises are coming from. He moves branches and bushes aside with his shortsword.
[Isreal]: "not you pet then why does he follow you a wolf should be killed after what they did to our friend the last time we ran across them"
Russeth comes back through the mist and shrugs; "It's just a wildlife animal. Not anything to be afraid off."
[Isreal]: "AH the great Russeth not afraid of anything it could have been a dragon an he would not be scared " laughing
Zakren snickers at Russeth's comment. "You remember the last non threatening animal." Laughing as he settles in for the night.
Elina moves towards the center of the group as she reluctantly watches Russeth disappear into the mist. Upon hearing his voice, she lets out a sigh of relief and rest herself upon the ground.
Malakai growls a bit at Isreal's comments, but remains silent otherwise.
Isreal looks for a tree for his nightly climb "well good night all I hope to see you in the morrow"
Russeth sheathes his blades and walks past Isreal, "Huh. Whatever thief." He nods at Elina as he sets himself back against the tree and continues munching on some bread.
Malakai goes back to his place as well, resting with his axe in easy reach.
Isreal jumps into the air an grabs a branch an you hear grunts an he makes his way through the branches
[Elina]: "What’s going on Isreal?"
[Russeth]: "The answer is in your question dear. Isreal."
Malakai smiles a bit " How true, how true...."
[Isreal]: "nothing I am making my nest so to speak for the night up here I feel much safer than down on the ground the wizard had a good idea if you are up high then anything trying to get you would also have to climb " laughing
Elina raises an eyebrow in Isreal's direction. "Wizards of that caliber don't need to climb trees." Pointing it out to Isreal as she rests besides Russeth and slips into reverie.
Russeth sighs as he finishes eating his small loaf of bread and looks up above the trees. "Alright now you all go to sleep. Let’s not waste more time."
[Isreal]: "no but are they’re any in this ragamuffin group that are of that caliber?" laughing louder down toward Elina through the mist
Malakai sleeps between the roots of an available tree, pulling his blanket up over him to conserve body heat and make him appear more as part of the tree, rather then something sleeping under it.
Elina waves a hand off-handedly at Isreal as she ignores him and proceeds with her reverie.
Russeth peers into the darkness as far as his vision and mist allow he walks over to the middle of the camp and sits up they’re, watching in all directions and listening carefully.
Isreal drifts off into sleep in the cradling arms of a tree looking down on the group one last time before nodding off
[Russeth]: Everyone feels a little tap on their shoulder, except Isreal, long after they have fallen asleep. "Wake up everyone", a couple of times. He looks up into Isreal's tree and shrugs.
Kirarae wakes up to the sound of Russeth and begins gathering his belongings.
Russeth has already packed all of his belongings once he gets back to his own spot, he leans backwards against the tree and smiles, watching off in the distance.
Malakai opens his eyes, then, without speaking, quickly begins gathering his gear together.
Zakren opens his eyes to the pale morning light once more before getting up and shaking the dirt and bugs off him self he looks about the area.
Ston awaken by Russeth gets up and tends to his horse while the others prepare for the coming day.
Elina rubs her eyes as she wakes, keeping her silence knowingly as she looks into Russeth's eyes. "Morning darling."
Kirarae looks up at Isreal; "You want I put an arrow in his butt to wake him?" Shrugs and begins looking around the ground for something.
Elina ponders at Kirarae's suggestion. "Maybe I should set his tree on fire." Smiling as she toys with the idea. After a moment, she dismisses the thought and picks up a twig and throws it into the tree.
Isreal wakes to the pale morning light glaring in his eyes an the babble of Kirarae on the ground an with the grace of a humming bird dismounts from the tree an lands feet first standing there ready to travel
Russeth looks towards the south, "Let's not wait for the mist to dissipate and proceed southern further." With that he stomps his feet on the ground towards the south.
Elina's throws her twig up but is sent back to the ground being to light to reach the now waking Isreal in the tree.
[Isreal]: "Ah a forced march would get us out of the wood quicker I feel up to a run today Ston can go ahead with his horse an scout the ground for us "
Malakai follows Russeth southward, doing his usual routine of watching the party's flanks as they proceed through the forest.
Zakren helps load the horse as he makes his way behind the others.
Russeth narrows his eyes as he listens to Isreal fall but he doesn't turn to look. "Ah. Well I was kind of hoping you wouldn't wake up." Laughs, briefly and then spends some time studying the directions, watching at trees and the sky every now and then.
Isreal follows shortly behind Russeth "Remember when we entered these woods you said you would never walk in front of me again Russeth?"
Russeth glares at Isreal, "What are you talking about?"
[Isreal]: "or turn you back to me any way Ah how soon the forget" laughing as he walks by the now stopped Russeth
Elina giggles at Isreal's comment and follows behind. Tossing her hair with her hand, she makes her way through the woods carefully.
With the morning once again upon you, you prepare to make your way towards the vast plains of Harrowdale to return home. Traveling well into the morning the fog has burned off, when you begin to see bright areas of light coming from up ahead.
Russeth shakes his head at Isreal as he looks at Isreal in the back; "I don't see you right behind me. That was my point." He shrugs as he continues walking up front, Malakai behind him.
[Isreal]: "Could it be the fields of the dale?" Isreal Mutters
Elina searches the ground as she travels through the woods, looking for any branch that might serve as a staff.
Russeth nods as he begins walking a bit faster, almost to a sprint as he notices the patches of light as well. "We will see fairly quickly."
Isreal follows behind him trying to keep pace.
Proceeding onwards you begin to spot the tall golden grasses of the plains where you begin to near the edge of the Velarwood forest. Before to long you have left the woods behind making your way across the golden plains. Traveling to midday to early afternoon you spot a small stream of smoke rising up to the skies beyond a small bluff.
Elina picks up a branch that she feels the most comfortable in her hand and quickly follows the group into the plains.
Malakai stops at the edge of the forest, putting two fingers into his mouth and releasing a large whistle, trying to tell Mythos to follow him.
Russeth watches the smoke rise and smiles. He runs a hand through his air while pointing with the other towards the smoke, "Let us see if this could be the town. However I doubt so." He nods to himself and makes his way in the straight direction.
Zakren looks up at the smoke; "Hmm think it's a fire or what?"
Isreal jumps into the air Yelling "YAHOOOOOOOOOOO HOME ONCE AGEN"
[Elina]: "Might be a camp of sort. Let’s be careful."
Ston shakes his head at the jumping fool in the fields as he follows along with his horse in tow.
[Isreal]: "well Zak smoke in the mythical sense does equal fire"
Russeth raises a brow at Isreal, "Thinking about it. Isreal I bet you'd like to stay home forever, wouldn't ye?"
Malakai runs to catch up with the group, figuring Mythos is off busy killing something.
[Isreal]: "an miss all the fun I could have torturing you Russeth I would never miss that for the world"
Moving on to the bluff you look down upon a small farmhouse where the smoke rises from the chimney. A crude fence encloses the small home made of stone with a pitch roof. Which runs around the perimeter housing the barn and what looks like one horse and cow. No one is seen in the yard or the surrounding area of the home.
Russeth shrugs, "Maybe I'll decide never to come 'home' again. What would ye do?"
[Isreal]: "well I will follow you any way I love our little tiffs we get into even the frays"
Russeth lifts the bandages over his left shoulder and looks below at the darkened wound. He glances around quickly for the trail they traveled on a few weeks earlier and sighs.
Zakren peers down at the house, "So do we stop by or keep going on?"
Elina looks concern at Russeth's bandage. "How’s the wound darling? Maybe I should check it in case it got infected."
[Isreal]: "besides Russeth you saved all our life’s where I come from I owe you my life an must stay with you until I can save you"
Russeth rotates towards Zakren and shrugs; "Maybe we could go ask about the trail. Or simply continue south. I guess we should go ask, they should know."
[Isreal]: "I say stop an see if we can lend a hand to the people living in that home"
Elina raises an eyebrow at Isreal. "I remember that once from you Isreal. And after that I got into all sorts of trouble." Giggling as she makes her way towards the house.
Russeth pulls his head back as he listens to Isreal, "The way it seems you owe a life to everyone." He bursts into laughter as he walks down the hills towards the small farmhouse.
You make your way down to the small farmhouse approaching the gate to the fence you see an attractive woman exit the house. She stands before the door holding what looks like clothing in her hands clad in a flowing white dress accented by her brown hair that drapes down upon her shoulders. As she puts her hand up to her forehead to block the sun she sets the clothes down upon a small barrel next to the home before returning into the home.
[Isreal]: "well my lady do you forget the jaws of the monster I saved you from back in the wood you debt is repaid"
Not long after two men and the woman return as she stands behind them. Both men are armed with longswords and wear plate armor or at least one is while the other is fixing his breastplate.
[Farmer]: "What is it you want here?" asking as he makes his way to the edge of the porch.
Malakai stops upon seeing the two fellows, not in the mood for fighting over something as benign as Trespassing
Russeth looks surprised she didn't stop to greet them he makes his way up to the door leading into the farm and bumps into the trio. "Oh. We were just passing by to ask how far the road to Harrowdale is at?"
Elina smiles at Isreal. "That’s exactly what I mean Isreal." Smiling at him and turns her attention to the trio.
Isreal looks on in wonder of the attractiveness of the woman
[Farmer]: "You can pick up the trail about 300 yards from here." Pointing off into the golden fields of grass towards the west.
The second man now done with his armor stands ready eyeing you up and down making sure your not some local raiders as he grips the pommel of his blade.
Elina ponders out loud. "I believe you are not common peasants? Not everyone wears breastplates and keeps longswords. May I ask why you own such things for being farmers?"
Isreal turns to Zak and whispers "can I have part of my share say 10 GP please"
Russeth nods, "Thank you, gentlemen. We will bother you no more then..." He turns to Elina and eyes her surprisingly.
[Farmer]: Turning to stare at Elina. "What gives you the right to be-little me and my kin because we are farmers? Did you ever think we may be retired or better yet maybe we killed the owners and took their home? You might be next with a tongue like that." Raising his voice as he spouts along.
[Isreal]: "you Eye us as if we where common thieves we I would have you know are the heroes of the Dale lands greatest men to walk these land we have killed big monsters little monsters an everything in between"
Malakai nods in appreciation of the fact they were so forthcoming with the information the group requires, and turns walking in the direction the farmers indicated. Then stopping, turning back and looking as the farmer appears to grow angry with Elina."
[Farmer]: Looking Isreal up and down, "From my experience's you just might be, since the others wear cloaks and armor yet you do not."
[Isreal]: "How dare you speak to the lady that way you brigand I would have your head if I where not an honest man"
Elina narrows her eyes warily at the man. "I do not belittle you stranger. Yet if you have killed the owner of the house, I will not stand and see you walk away free with murder."
Malakai rolls his eyes as he looks over at Isreal.
Ston stands near the gate with his mount and watches the rest of you partake in this seeming hostile growing conversations.
[Isreal]: "well we have no time to chit chat with fatherless bastards we should be on our way Elina in the dale we will find more people with far better manners"
Russeth eyes Isreal the same way he eyed Elina, then he looks the attractive women straight into the eyes, as if to discern something from her. All along he remains silent, not joining the discussion right away.
Zakren looks about, "Come on we are burning day light, have to mess with everything don't you." Shakes his head as he waits near the fence with Ston and Kirarae.
[Elina]: "I do not think you as a murderer. Still if you are retired adventurers, perhaps you are willing to share some of your experiences with us young folk?" Asking in a more polite manner.
[Isreal]: "Ah you I can believe this we just killed a family of giants that lived in the woods an you would back down from to men an a woman Zak you are a girl"
The lead man nods to the lass behind him in a brief turn as she returns to hanging out some wash upon a rope tied between the fence and the home.
Malakai walks over and Joins Ston, Kirarae and Zakren at the fence. Mumbling visibly agitated.
Russeth shakes his head as he pulls himself away from Elina and back with the others, he smiles as he passes by Zakren. "I don't consider myself a young folk. Pfff."
Isreal lays his hand on Elina’s shoulder slightly pulling here back to the others
Zakren looks at Isreal, "No, I only kill things that threaten me or others not one who was home minding their own business until we showed up."
Russeth laughs low as he watches Isreal get himself into trouble again, "He's probably gonna say he saved her life by pulling her there."
[Isreal]: "ah but people these days have no respect for those trying to make the world a better place"
Elina scowls at Russeth. Seeing that the conversation seems to be over, she tosses three gold coins over the fence. "Here is for your trouble. My apologies if I have offended you. We have been through quite a bit within Velarsburg’s forest and are still edgy." Curtseying, her farewell, she turns and approaches the rest.
[Zakren]: "My dear boy no one has manners except the rich and they do so only to your face. Most folks live a hard life and have no time to use Etiquette."
[Isreal]: "come on Elina before they cast another spell on me keeping me out of trouble"
The two men stand on the porch conversing while you make your way off into the fields looking for the trail. They do not take their eyes off of you while doing so.
Russeth nods as everyone exits the fence, "Farewell." He walks off in the distance a bit with the others and turns to Isreal, "Seriously, Mr. Big Bad Thief, if you continue getting into trouble with every little normal person we meet I think we'd be better off throwing you somewhere in the fields and letting you there. Stop acting that stupid, darn!"
[Elina]: "I do not think they are normal Russeth. I am sure they have some information of sort which we might have been able to use."
Russeth shrugs at Elina, "You can think what you want. Living so close to the Velarwood I wouldn't be surprised a farming family would equip themselves with such armor and weapons."
Russeth spins back towards the south and continues walking towards the trail, "Anyway it's all behind us now."
Ston looks over towards the lass as you make your way to the trail." The lass might be right I did not get a good feeling from the likes of them, but it doesn't mean we just chop them up." Turning towards Isreal.
[Elina]: "Not a farmer with breastplates and longswords. Such skills come with training. Even I know that." Sulking at Russeth as she stomps her feet.
Zakren laughs, "I haven't seen that since my sister small was about two seasons old," Laughing as he follows along.
[Isreal]: "there you go again with that junk I am more of an asset to the group than a pain but I will not let anyone talk to me as if I mean nothing not even you I thought you learned that the last time you an I fought "
Making your way off into the plains you see a caravan off to the northwest of you traveling north along the trail making their way north to the Cormanthor. The sun is in the high sky as you make your way looking up seeing nothing but wild prairie birds darting back and fourth and in an out of the grasses about you hunting for that bug that has its guard down.
Russeth shakes his head as he listens to Ston, "And now you mention it. That’s all I wanted to hear back there." He glances back at the slowly disappearing farm; "I couldn't get anything from the lady before she left. Well if you guys wanna go back." He sighs and looks back again, then at Isreal.
Russeth stops walking for a moment and looks at the caravan, "If you really want to. We can wait for nightfall, and investigate the farm a bit further."
Elina smiles at Zakren then turns back to Russeth. "You will more prefer to believe a new companion then me." Pouting sadly at Russeth and moves a distance away from him.
Ston looks towards the caravan going north, "I said I didn't get a good feeling that means nothing. I wasn't close enough to be for sure, but in either case you just can't storm one's home because you think they are bad."
[Isreal]: "you think you are so unstoppable you would not last 10 minutes in the parts of town I am form there are people there that would sooner cut your throat than look at you an mind you Russeth they could. Sure you can Ston, Russeth does that all the time we did not know the wizard in that tower was bad but still we went in there following our fearless leader".
Malakai shakes his head " Discussing hypothetical situations for the purpose of argument is only a waste of breath, Isreal..."
Russeth crosses his arms over his chest and stares at Isreal. "I'd like to see that happen. But anyway I see only one person who'd want to cut my throat. And it's you so I don't have to worry about it." He shrugs and looks back, "I said we could go during nightfall and see if we can find something, else we'll just head back to the Harrowdale."
[Isreal]: "ah but you seem to waste your breath on simple things than this my friend Malakai"
Elina mutters something in ancient, sounding very cross.
Zakren looks over at Isreal, "Correction lad we were told he may be dead and no one knew who or what lived there. Course the stocked storeroom should of told us but we went on anyway."
Conversing and traveling well into late day nearing the evening hours you see before you a wondrous site of home, or at least for some of you as Harrowdale sits on the horizon. Within the hour you make your way down into town, seeing the locals scurrying about performing their daily routines in the fields and shops about town.
[Isreal]: "thanks to who RUSSETH that’s who we vote him leader an look he abuses his power all the time " laughing thin mutter under his breath "but that gem sure would have fetched a hefty price"
Russeth laughs at Isreal as he enters the town limit and continues down the road, "Quite surprisingly Isreal. I don't remember a vote at all. You just asked me what to do ALL the time."
[Isreal]: "great I am home smell that air it is great to be here I shall choose the inn for us then we can split our money an gather supplies for our next step getting that staff for that wizard"
Russeth continues walking down the road into Harrowdale, "Now let's go to the inn and get rooms for a night."
[Elina]: "You have a house in the area Isreal? I will love to keep a duplicate of my spellbook here if you do."
Malakai nods " Yes, and in the morning I can get this Armor of your comrade's identified."
Russeth laughs as he listens to Elina and continues walking, "I think I'll just be keeping my share safely stored. It could get a better use."
[Isreal]: "well it is on the out skirts for my families land here was taken by Helena Treskeden
Elina nods at Isreal. "Shall we split the money we found in the cave first? I might need some for the book and some other stuff I might need."
[Isreal]: "well I plan to try to buy back my land so one day I may come back an I will get Helena Treskeden " then turns his head quickly as a few guards walk past
Malakai raises an eyebrow " Who is this Helena Treskeden, Isreal, and why do you want to kill her?"
Russeth nods to the guards as he passes by them and glares at Isreal briefly, then he identifies the few buildings he might want to stop by later.
You make your way through town where you come to the good OLE Anchorage Inn where you gathered to leave this place in the first place.
[Isreal]: "I do have a house not far from here in the woods if it still stands I left on a short time ago after my mothers passing. I met our late friend druid and I set off to make fame an money to come back here an take my place"
Zakren looks towards the lass, "Yes I would like my cut and Mordineon's and Feragan's as well."
Russeth nods to the others as he notices the building most of them signed a contract to rid the Halfaxe trail of brigands at. "I think I'll see if our contract is still valid. And completed."
[Elina]: "Lets get a room and split it in our own privacy?"
[Isreal]: "well Malakai she took my fathers land because he fell sick we could never make enough crop for here she kept demanding more an I tried so hard after father passed on but I could not make it. So mother an I moved to the woods I built a small shack an there we lived until she died all because Helena Treskeden"
Russeth nods to Elina, "I guess that's a fair idea." He walks over to the anchorage inn and motions her to go in first, walking in casually afterwards.
Isreal follows the group into the inn "
Malakai enters the Inn as well, looking about at the patrons of this establishment, hoping nobody minds a tribesman like himself in this inn.
The small inn hasn't changed any in the recent weeks, the same patrons at the bar as Delora with her viper tongue still tends the bar.
Isreal glares over the people in the room looking for anyone he might know or want to avoid"
Elina stands in the inn and observes it for the first time.
Russeth walks straight over to the tender with a smile. "Hello miss. We would like to rent a couple of rooms for tonight. How many would each be?"
Delora makes her way over to you and gives you her normal cold stare, "That will be 15 silver per room, depending on how many you want will determine how much they cost. Now what are you drinking if your not drinking then leave."
Isreal orders up a bottle of whiskey "we get drunk tonight my friends"
Elina shakes her head at Isreal and orders a glass of wine. "I have a long night ahead."
Delora walks down the bar some and bends down for a short time then returns with 8 mead’s, "Here you go that will be 2 silver."
Russeth shrugs, as he looks Isreal, "Whatever he picks we'll take a room for now, and rent the others later."
Isreal tosses here 4 silver keep the change
Malakai shakes his head at the alcohol, just politely asking for whatever milk they have on hand.
Zakren nods taking his mead, "Well she hasn't changed any since we last saw her."
Isreal laughs "Milk, MILK you will get beat up in a place like this for ordering milk"
Russeth watches Delora come and go and smiles, "So hmm. Have you got a little something me and my comrades could munch on while we drink?"
[Delora]: "We have goat or cow, which would you prefer?" Looking back up the bar at whoever had asked for milk.
[Malakai]: " Cow would be fine, thank you." Looking over at Isreal " Your home certainly does have odd rituals...."
Russeth puts a hand on Isreal's shoulder and shakes his head, "Actually Is. the thing is people from here must be trying to find any reason whatsoever just for a chance to beat you up." He hops back on his seat with a satisfied smile.
Elina finishes her drink and whispers to Zakren "Should we try to sell the gems first?"
Delora shortly after she steps into the back room then returns once more with a mug full of milk. 'We have fried beast today with some gruel shall I make you a bowl?"
Isreal swigs down a mead wipes his face an demands another "an one for the whinny ranger with the rugged look going on he needs another"
Russeth rubs his chin a moment, as he ponders on the lady’s question and sighs, "Not yet I'll wait a bit."
Malakai nods " I would like that...." Begins sipping his milk slowly, saving some for when his meal arrives.
[Isreal]: "no my lady more mead would be nice"
Russeth slowly gulps down some of the alcohol and just stares into nothingness behind the bar as the lady comes and goes. "We need to get a room and split the amount. I don't like your habits Isreal."
[Isreal]: "haven’t been home for ages you see and we killed a bunch of giants in the woods to the north happy to be alive an all"
Delora nods as she walks to the other end of the bar and grabs a bowl and ladle before filling it from within a large pot that sits on the end of the counter. Upon her return she fills two more mugs with mead and returns to you. "6 copper sir."
Russeth laughs at Isreal as he lifts his bottle up and downs some of the content. "Ain't you the one I remember falling after the first few seconds of the fight?"
[Isreal]: "ya know Russeth I don’t like your habits either the way you pick your nose then eat what’s there I have heard of waste not want not but man take it easy "laughing loudly
Elina taps her fingers upon the table impatiently. "Let’s take the split shall we? I will like to get to the stores before they close."
Zakren makes his way over to a table and grabs a chair to sit with Ston, and Kirarae.
[Isreal]: "well will be here in thew morning Elina come on have another Mead as I said we get drunk tonight"
Russeth nods at Elina as he raises his bottle and looks over at the tender. "M'lady. We’d like to rent a room." He takes out, a gold coin and 5 silver pieces and places, them upon the table before her.
Delora in her travels back and fourth swipes the coins and leaves a key behind as she tends the other patrons.
Elina swiftly picks up the key and makes her way to the room.
Malakai begins eating his gruel, not really caring if it has any taste at all, just eating for the purpose of sustenance.
Russeth grabs the key before Elina and runs an arm on her back. "Alright. But we should get a few sacks. Why don't we go buy some first?"
Isreal whispers to them there is quite a bit of loot there we need to get it broken up an what about the gems?"
Russeth runs outside alone, and comes back quickly, holding a sack full of sacks out before him. "Wasn't that hard to get. Eh."
Elina waits near the stairs for the rest, crossing her arms and tries to be as patient as she can.
Russeth walks over next to Elina, "I think the others want to stay there or something. Let’s just go split it."
[Isreal]: "an what about those 2 rings Russeth I know a man here in town that could help us determine what all the things are we have found what do you say?" Following them with his mead, in his hand "how many pearls did we have?"
Russeth sits back half an hour later on the same stool and smiles as he calls for the lady tender yet again. "Alright, I'll have some fried beast now if ye will bring me some." He lifts a second bottle of mead up and downs some.
Malakai goes out, looking for a magical shop or some shop that could identify his armor.
Russeth glances at Isreal. "Two pearls. That’s what we got. What ye intend to do with them?"
[Isreal]: "well sense you don’t want to get drunk I have some stuff to tend to here in town let me have one of those Pearls I want to know what something it"
Elina heads out of the inn and makes her way around town for the equipment’s she needs.
[Isreal]: "I have a friend here in town that would help use find, out about some of this magic if you don’t want him to help you don’t have to take it"
Russeth sits back in his chair and rests his bottle on his left leg while he puts his elbow on the bar. "Well, tell me what exactly your intentions are. If it's for personal use you gotta deduct that from your share of the total amount."
Malakai returns to the Inn, his search yielding no results.
Russeth nods at Isreal and sighs, "Let's wait for everyone to get back then we can make a wise decision as far as to what items should be identified."
[Isreal]: "fine you don’t want to know want magic is on the things you found or traded in the gems that is find by my god you are one hell of an Ass Russeth"
Elina returns after half an hour. "Isreal where did you learn magic?"
Russeth motions Elina to join them as he makes his way over to the table with others all the while explaining his intentions, "You see Isreal. There is no need in identifying an armor set when we have other things to identify, considering whether or not it is identified the wearer will still use it. However a blade, or a ring for example, will have special properties that might only work in certain occasions, which you won't know until they are identified correctly."
[Isreal]: "well its kind of a secret he does not want a lot of people to know about him"
[Elina]: "Well perhaps both of us may learn something from him?"
[Malakai]: " I will pay for the armor identification, Since I am the one wearing it, only makes sense...."
[Isreal]: "I hope to show him what I have become and repay his kindness he showed me even after I stole from him"
Russeth looks over at Malakai confusedly, then back at Isreal, "How much do you assume will be the price per spell cast?"
[Isreal]: "but if I go I can bring only one of you Elina being the best choice he does not like being around a lot of people he’s weird like that. I don’t know he may need things he does not have on hand I will go there tonight an ask I need to tell him I am alive an what we have gotten our self into maybe he can help"
Elina nods at Isreal. "Sounds pretty much like my own mentor." Smiling as she remembers her own teacher. "Well just pass me the stuff you need identified and I will go with Isreal."
Russeth watches Isreal. Then shifts towards Elina. "I'm not sure about that idea. That person you speak off. Pretty much sounds like a thug like you, and you would like to go alone, as the two most vulnerable people of our party?" He scratches his head pondering on whether it is a good idea or not, "What if I follow you in the darkness?"
Malakai removes his armor quickly, and gives it to Elina " Here, this is all...."
[Elina]: "I am sure I can take care of myself Russ." Saying as she picks up her stuff, ready to follow Isreal. Looking at Malakai, she tries to pick up the armor but realize it is too heavy for her to carry.
[Isreal]: "what if you kiss my ass you don’t trust that I can make it in my home town to my masters house who loved me like a father I should slap you for such an insult"
Malakai shrugs, then puts his armor back on. " I will have to go with you as well..."
[Isreal]: "you want those ring Identified or not Russeth if so hand them over"
Russeth shrugs, "Will you just shut up Isreal. You stole from your 'loved father', how can I trust you for anything. I'm just trying to make it safer for you and you start whining, I'm not talking about the person you want to meet, I'm talking about whomever you might meet during that night." He reaches down into his pocket and takes out the small gold-band; he tosses it to Elina. He then takes out the scimitar and hands it over as well.
[Isreal]: "by the gods have none of you even listened to me I may be a thief but I know my own master" whispering softly to the others.
Russeth laughs as he walks off, back to the bar and finishes drinking his second bottle. He leans back against the bar and watches them by the table.
[Isreal]: "I know this town I should have no problems an I will keep Elina safer than you could in this part of town"
Elina grabs both of them and places the ring into her pouch. Strapping the scimitar clumsily upon her belt, she ponders about how she looks. "We might need the pearls too."
Isreal turns to Elina "shall we my lady
Russeth continues laughing as he watches Isreal leave, "People know you too. That might be the problem. I noticed you hiding from the guards."
[Isreal]: "yes the pearls an I will ask him if he wishes to buy the gems as well"
Malakai stands as well, following Elina & Isreal.
Russeth points to Elina's belt, where the gem pouch is attached.
[Isreal]: "Malakai you stay sit drink you are not following us to this place "
[Elina]: "I have all the gems Isreal. Let go." Saying as she leaves the inn.
