After the dramatic rescue of the ladies and finally dealing with what you hope to be the last of the bandits. You rest up and try to heal to be able to make the journey home.

Zakren takes a quick peek at the room between prayers and a gasp can be heard from behind his hood as he witnesses the condition the women are in. He curses at the nearest body and goes back to his mumbling, but they now seem harsher than before.

Elina stayed closed to Druid. After their encounter, she feels that she is close to her then the rest of the group.

Druid cries on Elina's shoulder, still shuddering now and then.

Hawk looks at the women with disgust " Maybe we should have tortured the bandits before we killed them "

Gremag sharpens his sword, testing its edge so it is ready for the next encounter

Elina tried her best to comfort the poor girl. "Take it easy there now."

Russeth breathes heavily looking down at the now headless corpse of the bandit, the one which had his pants undone. His shoulders rise and drop rhythmically as he runs a hand over his wounds; they have already softened themselves. He looks over at Druid, he feels helpless as he begins walking toward them. "Those bastards have paid well. Will hmm. You be ok?"

Mordineon sits in the corner leaning back against the wall with a bandage wrapped around his head covered in blood.

Feragan lie on the floor in a puddle of his own blood, as his wrappings are two soaked with blood.

Isreal stands there close to Druid trying to bring her to from her sleep.

Elina said "Thank you for the rescue. I was half afraid of what might happened to us if you did not arrived in time."

Gremag mutters to himself then says out loud "ill go look for some wood to start a fire"

Elina approached the blood soaked mage and tried to change the bandages, applying some healing herb in the process.

Hawk " We should burn the bodies of these bandits to be rid of their evil "

Russeth gives a quick glare to Elina, and then turns his head back to Feragan now lying on the ground without being tended. He sighs and sheathes his blades. "Alright, we're getting out of this damned place right now!" He shouts abruptly.

Gremag stands up and goes outside the cave to get some wood and food.

[Druid]: "NOOOOOOO!"

Hawk looks over at Russeth " So be it! '

Druid 's eyes pop open and she quickly looks around and begins to cry profusely.

Russeth sighs at Druid, "What, Druid?" He nods at Hawk. "Go down the rope already, make sure it's still safe down there."

Elina turned her head from the mage, looking at Druid. "What's wrong dear?"

Gremag exits the cave and goes down the rope into the forest, sword at ready.

[Druid]: "I.... I could see them.... Hovering over .m...me.... Using.... M...me..."

Hawk " Aye " takes off and goes down the rope and ensures it is safe.

Druid starts to whimper.

Elina sigh and started her way back towards Druid. "There, there".

Russeth brings a hand to Druid's shoulder, "Alright Druid we will get you out of here quickly. Don’t look down at them." He looks at Elina briefly, "I'm sorry I guess presentations will be for later, no worries though you can come with us." He nods as he makes his way over to Feragan, "Darned bandits. Can anyone check him over to see how bad is his case?"

Druid turns to face Elina. "Who...who are you?"

[Elina]: "Thank you noble ranger. I have already tended to the mage's wound. He should live through the night if we could settle him down some place so that I can tend to him."

[Druid]: "Wait...you were a captive too. Did they..."

Russeth nods at Elina, "I will carry him to the cavern exit, follow Hawk he knows the way." He glares at Zakren, "Can you finish that prayer of yours outside, cleric?"{

[Elina]: "I am Elina Silvera, You will be fine. No I was not. Your friends got to me before they had a chance."

Zakren ignores him since he is deeply concentrated on his prayers.

Druid nods solemnly. "You were certainly blessed by Mystra today. Thank you for your comforting words". Druid smiles for the first time at her new friend.

Elina nodded at the ranger and help Druid stand. "Let’s get out of here. We can discuss more about this later."

Mordineon sets in the corner. "If he stops now he'll have to start over again and we don't have time for that."

Druid nods in wholehearted agreement to Elina.

Elina held Druid's hand tightly; giving her strength as both of them slowly walked out of the accursed room.

Russeth curses in elven, as he looks down at Feragan "Can't let the cleric here alone." He sighs and looks at Mordineon, "Right. Do you need to study as well? You should go down with the others I will wait here with the cleric."

Druid squeezes Elina's hand tightly, drawing strength from her presence.

Russeth sits against the wall next to the mage, catching his breath from all the events. He glares at the two doors in front of him, noticing they haven't gave much attention to those. He climbs up to his feet again and looks within, making sure they are empty and there's nothing of notice.

You sit in the cave quietly while Zakren prays while Gremag is out in the forest.

Druid turns to face Elina. "I must apologize. In all the frustration of it all, I forgot to introduce myself to you. I am Druid. I was orphaned and never really was given a name. Druid seemed appropriate later on, because of my beliefs."

Hawk yells up at the women " Are ya going to come down the rope or not?

Elina gave Druid an assuring pat. "Don't worry dear, you must have forgotten that you have already introduced yourself to me when we were both shackled to the wall."

[Elina]: "We are coming. Hold your horses!" Elina shouted back and muttered "Impatience of a man... will get him no where."

Druid laughs quietly in agreement.

Hawk " I heard that11 "

[Elina]: "shall we?" Elina asked Druid, as she looks down the rope.

Druid reaches for her spellbook.

Elina made her way down the rope slowly, making sure that her robe does not hinder her way down.

[Druid]: "Oh no! My spellbook!" She looks down at herself for the first time. "Isreal's shirt?"

Hawk " What's wrong now druid? "

Druid glares down at Hawk. "I'll be right down!" She finds a small rock and throws it at him.

Elina asked, "Which way did the dwarf go?"

Russeth steps back inside the main room with the others. "Come on Zakren. Hurry up this is taking a while..." He looks a bit nervous, glaring down at the mage lying on the ground.

Hawk steps out of the way of the rock " That must mean you think I’m good looking! "

Isreal looks over to Druid and hands her the book. "Sorry didn't want you do lose it."

Druid grins at Isreal, her mood quickly improving.

Zakren slowly gets up and looks seriously at Russeth..."Gather the corpses while I tend to Feragan...my goddess has given me a way to dispose of those bandits, permanently."

Russeth knows Zakren can't hear but still he keeps insisting. Taking deep breaths he glares in the passage.

[Druid]: "Thank you, my old friend."

Elina surveyed the area for the first time, looking at what was her captives' hide away.

[Druid]: "Now...where are my clothes and other belongings..."

Zakren moves to Feragan's side and begins to chant. His hands quickly become alight with a blue glow. He touches the fallen wizard and his body glows blue for a moment before the light dissipates.

You wait in the cave has you hear a faint but deep scream from out side in the forest.

Russeth nods at Zakren with anticipation, "Deal with Feragan first." He shrugs and goes around, using his feet to roll most of the corpses together, disgusted by the mass of blood around the room.

After the casting of the cure he seems to get some color back but is still showing no signs of coming to yet.

Druid finds her equipment in that awful room where she was found. She quickly gathers her things and leaves the room as fast as she can. As she begins to walk back out of the cave, she hears a scream and rushes out and down the rope.

[Elina]: "What was that?" Elina exclaimed and started running towards the direction of the scream while making sure she does not run into any trouble, she kept her covers close to the trees.

Hawk yelling towards the forest " Gremag! "

Zakren makes incantation and the same process accurse.

Russeth curses as he walks back towards Zakren. "All right this is taking too long. I will carry him outside." He sees himself acting too slowly and shrugs, "All right. Then the corpses are waiting."

Hawk yells at the druid and Isreal " Hurry up and get your damn ass's down here! I think Gremags in trouble! "

Russeth walks over to the area where he dropped his bow, finding it easily he straps it on his back again. "Whenever you're ready."

Druid drops the last couple feet to the ground and rush over to follow Elina.

Elina huffed and puffed as she ran through the woods towards the scream. Upon seeing the back of the dwarf, she stopped and surveyed the area, looking for whatever that made the scream.

[Druid]: "Be careful, Elina!"

As you make your way out into the forest slowly and seeming one at a time, Gremag falls from the tree tops as he stops about 30'feet above the ground before coming back up.

Gremag looks at her and gives a wan grin, "hello, nice evening isn’t it?"

Hawk turns toward the forest and takes off cautiously looking for Gremag

Isreal makes his way down to the forest floor with no trouble as he looks up towards Gremag.

Zakren stands 15 feet away from the pile and begins to chant to his goddess. After his prayer complete, a magical flame appears in his hand. Looking sternly at the pile and whispers..."May you burn in the eternal flames." He then throws the flame at the body and the flame begins to consume the pile of bodies.

[Elina]: "What are you doing up there Dwarf?"

Druid catches up to Elina soon. "What happened?" Following Elina's gaze, up to see Gremag swinging in the treetops.

Gremag grimaces as he gets blood sucked "Eh...nothing much

Feragan though looking better is still sound, asleep upon the cave floor.

[Elina]: replied, I got no idea. The dwarf just dropped down on me." She giggled

Zakren moves back to the fallen mage and begins another incantation that finishes with Feragan's body to glow again.

Gremag hacks at the vine trying to free him self from its grasp of blood sucking.

Russeth puts a hand up to his face as the bodies are set on fire, covering himself from the heat and the smell. "Ahh. Couldn’t you have waited till we were about to leave?" He walks up to Feragan and lifts him up, quickly making his way out, while still being cautious while he carries the man. "I heard Hawk scream. Let’s get moving."

Hawk approaches Elina and looks up at Gremag " Damn Gremag! That’s a hell of a place to get drunk11

Gremag misses weirdly enough

After the spell is cast again, Feragan opens his eyes and begins to move his head some.

[Gremag]: "Drunk? Who’s drunk?"

Elina saw what was holding the dwarf and started a quick chant and traces her fingers in the air and muttered "Magic Missile"

[Gremag]: "I haven’t had a spot of ale since we visited town"

Zakren yells to Mordineon..."Let's get out of here." He catches up to Russeth and helps him to carry the wakening mage.

Russeth notices Feragan's back to consciousness and smiles, letting him hop on the ground with a huge smile. "I'm glad you're back. Mage Hurry up with us outside."

Hawk " You are damn Dwarven fool! You'd have to be to be up there! "

You sit there looking up at him as a vine reaches down from above attacking upon hawk but unable to grab him.

[Druid]: "What..."

[Elina]: Upon finishing her chant, Elina pointed her fingers at the vine and a magical white light flew from her fingers, heading towards the vine.

Hawk pulls out his sword and swings at the vines " By Odins mighty one eye! These are possessed vines! "

Russeth climbs down the rope, as quickly as he can and looks around for his friends. He left Feragan with the cleric trusting he can help him, quickly he noticed his friends and ran in their directions, "What's happening already?"

Isreal looks at the vine and wonders how it got in the trees then looking at his friends and the ranger.

Zakren helps Feragan make his way to the exit while he regains his strength.

Gremag swings by his lower right leg as the vine slowly sucks the blood from his body. As he tries to hold onto his blade an attack the beast.

Russeth also notices the vines; quite surprised his eyes widen. "What's that now? This place is infested with all kinds of horrible things dear god."

Russeth reaches for his bow, nocking a first arrow, another one stuck between his teeth. He releases a first arrow at the creature; "Feel that!"

Gremag screams and cuts the vine as it snaps sending him falling to the ground. The other one tries to snag him up but misses him only to send him into the trees to hit several branches along the way. With a thud, Gremag strikes the ground lifeless. He lay broken upon the forest floor as his legs are twisted back and up towards his head. Blood pours from his mouth, as he lay there motionless.

Hawk " Oh shit "

Isreal starts to climb down the rope to help the fallen dwarf as fast as he can.

Elina cringed at the sight of the lifeless dwarf.

Mordineon staggers away into the under brush holding his head.

Zakren continues to help the mage?

Hawk yelling over his shoulder " Hurry up Zakren! We've got wounded! "

[Isreal]: "I am coming Gremag I will save you!"

Zakren turns to Mordineon..."Hurry up and help them. I'm out of cures."

Hawk swings his sword at the foul vines.

Feragan looks to Zakren. "Go ahead I’ll be find I just need a few minutes they need you."

Zakren nods to the mage and runs ahead.

[Hawk]: and hits they vines just barely.

Hawk strikes the vine but seems to do little damage at it tries to grab upon you as you dart around below it. The vine seems to go after Druid as it passes by missing her.

Druid turns to face the vine that went by her, holding her thumbs together, hands spread out like a fan. She mutters a few arcane words, sending forth a stream of flame.

The flames from Druids hands burn along the vine as it swings by but seems to have little effect upon it.

Elina started to mutter some strange words and she took a pinch of sand from her pouch and scatters it slowly with her fingertip. Upon her completion of the spell, she pointed at the vines and mutter "Sleep".

Feragan makes his way down from the cave to the forest floor.

Zakren makes his way down the rope.

Elina’s words have no effect upon the vine as it continues to lash out trying to grab one of you.

Russeth sends the first arrow flying across the woodlands, hoping to strike the second vine true. He drops the second arrow from his mouth, nocking it very fast he takes a five-foot step and leaps into the air, sending the arrow forward in the mean time, at the same vine. "That dwarf's really got to learn to stay with the damn group, grab him I don't think these things are gonna give it up."

Isreal "w will see who has a the last laugh you bastard of a tree " an grabs the fallen dwarfs sword searches for the tree to deal damage at the source

The vine drops down wrapping it self up around Isreal and pulling him up to the top of the trees.

[Isreal]: "you will not have me tree "

As Isreal is taken to the top his sword and Gremags weapon falls to the floor below.

Isreal slashes at the vine with his dagger.

Russeth sends both the arrows across the battlefield, both of them hitting true at the vine he drops his bow, drawing both his swords. "Get the dwarf we're retreating!"

Isreal is all tied up struggling screaming "shoot it shoot the dammed thing"

Russeth arrows caused the vine to drop Isreal as he falls from above.

[Isreal]: "AH RATS "as Isreal falls off the vine to the floor below

Zakren continues makes his way down the rope to help the group.

[Elina]: upon seeing Isreal fall spoke the words "Feather fall" and points at Isreal.

Russeth runs over to Isreal, hoping what happened to the dwarf won't happen to him. "Keep aware of those vile plants. I'm pretty sure there's more around."

Isreal lands with a gentle plop in the dirt as he floats down from the trees above.

The trees above have grown quiet as the rustling of the vine stop.

Hawk goes over to Isreal " Russeth let's get the wounded and get the hell out of here." Starts to drag Isreal off as carefully as he can

Russeth nods at Hawk, "Grab the thief." He sheathes his swords hastily and walks over to the dwarf, looking above before he grabs him by the arms and drags him with the rest of the group.

Isreal floated to the ground praising the name "Elina".

You make your way from the cave and dispatch the vines, and with Gremag lying by a tree you debate what to do with the young dwarf.

Hawk " Let’s grab the dwarf and leave! "

Isreal "we should give him a proper funeral"

Russeth brings his hands to his hip, "Give us a break god damn creatures." He sighs deeply and looks down at the dwarf, knowing he's fell from a height most humans wouldn't survive naturally. "Check if he's alive. Darn."

Elina making sure that they are now save from the vines, started to bandage the Dwarf and care for him using what skills she have in herbalism and healing, trying to patch him up.

Isreal stands with the dwarf "come on hawk lets blow this joint"

Zakren moves over to the dwarf and shakes his head..."He's gone..."

Russeth sighs deeply. "Well I wish I would've got to know him more. Damn it. What do you guys want to do about it?"

[Elina]: With tears in her eyes, Elina looked up at Zakren with teary eyes. "Dead?"

Hawk " Zakren! Did you just say that Gremag is DEAD! "

[Isreal]: "well we will not leave our fallen on the battlefield come on hawk lest get him we will bury him"

Zakren nods.

Isreal moved in to get the dwarf an pull him away from the cave

Russeth shakes his head walking outside the circle; his arms crossed he looks at the ground grabbing his bow on the way. "Ah. Why me."

[Druid]: "No!"

Hawk lets out a load horrendous scream to let the Gods know that a warrior is on his way " AAAAARRRRRRGGGGHHHHRRRAAAA!"

[Druid]: "How much money do we have?"

[Elina]: "Druid! He is dead!" Elina sobs as she made her way towards Druid, seeking comfort in her arms. "I have never seen anyone dying in front of my eyes."

Zakren gets a shovel from his pack..."Well...let's get to it."

Druid holds Elina close to her.

Zakren starts to dig a grave next to the tree he fell from.

Isreal pulls on the dwarfs limp body struggling to pull him to the party.

Hawk turns to Russeth " Let's burn these Damned forest to the ground."

Russeth turns his head and looks at Zakren, sighing. He walks back with the others and looks at Hawk, "Don't you touch the forest you god damn fool."

Elina buried her face in Druid's embrace, refusing to look at the corpse of her new founded companion.

Mordineon steps up. "No take him with us roll him up in something. My days are numbered in the wild. That hit to the head as taken my sight in my right eye. I will bury him in town at the temple where I will be staying once we return home."

Isreal looks up "that’s not what’s to be done an I would mind the forest talk with a ranger around you may find your self hanging from a rope not a vine "

Russeth steps aside Zakren watching him dig; "It was partly my responsibility. I should've stopped him from leaving. Again."

[Druid]: "Who here is a cleric?"

Hawk looks back at Russeth " This Damned Forest is evil. We should destroy it.

Isreal says give me something to roll him up in an we will hall the body out of this wood"

Russeth glares at Hawk. "You will have plenty of other opportunities to unleash that pain of yours. Please do keep it inside. Revenge is not the feeling of a true hero."

[Zakren]: "Mordineon...we can't drag him along with enemies on our tail."

Mordineon turns to Druid. "I’m lass but I have no prayers to speak of at this time."

Elina shot Hawk a fierce look and said "Isn’t there enough death for one day? Its not the forest fault that we stepped into their premises, disturbing the peace here."

[Isreal]: "I leave the revenge to the thieves"

[Druid]: "Were you not trained at a temple? Do you not remember the priests who could raise some from the dead?"

Isreal laughs loudly

[Druid]: "He is not lost on us yet! But we have to hurry!"

[Mordineon]: "I have heard of such happenings but have never seen one. I also hear they cost a lot of gold as well."

[Zakren]: "It is a feat that can only be done by some high priests and it takes a lot from the cleric."

Russeth tries to catch the meaning of Isreal and shrugs. "Whatever. Druid, calm down! We have not the funding to raise him. Nor is it in our best to drag him to town this way?"

[Elina]: looked at Druid with glimmer in her eyes and asked "Is it possible? You mean he still have hope?"

Isreal starts to roll the body up mumbling a hem his mother sang him when he was young

Hawk " Well then let us all pitch in to bring Gremag back. "

Zakren continues to dig a grave.

[Druid]: "I would certainly trade all the gold and gems to have him back!"

[Isreal]: "it is done all my gold to bring a fallen one back if it can be done?"

Zakren shakes his head..."You have no idea how much it is...I myself have never seen that much money."

Russeth sighs deeply shaking his head. "All right. Zakren." He brings an hand to his shoulder, "Let them carry 'IM. At least we can say we have tried something."

Hawk heads off into the woods " I'll make a travois to carry Gremag on "

[Isreal]: "well I can get us money in town but keep the ranger off my back"

[Druid]: "We have no way of knowing how much it could cost, nor whether the priest will take sympathy on us"

[Elina]: "Can't you have a little heart? Life is revered by all elves. Or are you of impure blood?" Elina stared fiercely at the ranger.

Russeth shrugs. "If you're gonna raise a friend by stealing from innocents, I say leave him here. And Druid the cleric has been surrounded by priests he probably knows better than us all!"

[Druid]: "Before we move...give me a moment to study my spellbook. I may help with transportation of the...of Gremag."

[Elina]: "Good idea. I need some studying as well"

Russeth glares at Elina, narrowing his eyes. "I told we could bring him along but well. At some point, someone is better resting in the forest."

Zakren taps his shovel in the tree in frustration and also to remove dirt from it..."This is madness. There are still bandits out there and we aren't out of these woods."

[Isreal]: "well you don’t know the dale do you ranger something is fishy there an you are oblivious to it stuck in the wood your mind wanders an if it can be done it should be done what’s a little work more to save his life?"

[Mordineon]: "Besides he would haunt us if we bury him in the elves forest and not in rocks of his kind." Laughing a little as he grabs the side of his head in pain.

Druid tries to block out the arguing as she studies quickly.

Hawk looks at the group " Fine then! Lets take a vote on whether or not we take Gremag. "

Elina followed Druid, opening her spellbook studying it through.

Russeth glares furiously at Isreal taking a step closer to him. "Why would a merchant be robbed because a damned dwarf went alone in a forest to gather 'wood'?"

Druid closes her spellbook in anger. "We should not even have to vote on it!"

Druid turns on Russeth furiously. "Damned? You be damned if you would just throw Gremag away so easily! We have a chance...albeit a small one. But we should try!"

Russeth shrugs has Isreal's case has become off topic. "Bring the dwarf along. Zakren, in what will it matter to you, if you don't have to carry or tend him?"

Isreal finishes helping roll him up an walks to Elina "as by my honor my dear miss I owe you a life dept an will stay by your side until I have repaid it "

[Elina]: Upon memorizing her spells, she closed her book and made ready to go.

Russeth shrugs at Druid as he turns his head around. "That stealing Isreal is driving me nuts. I shouldn't have called him damned, sorry."

[Elina]: "Think nothing of it. Like I said before, I revered life and will do what I can to help preserve it."

Hawk " This would be easier if I still had my ass. "

Druid nods to Russeth. "I know you meant no harm."

Zakren shrugs..."Why bother...we can't even get him raised...it's just a waste of time."

Russeth brings a hand to Zakren's shoulder and sighs deeply before he whispers.

[Elina]: "I can sing at the town's bar to gain some money." This way we won't have to go through the process once again."

[Druid]: "Zakren...if someone came to you and you could resurrect their friend, would you? Whether they could pay or not? Asked for a resurrection.

[Isreal]: "well you have little choice in the matter Elina I have to in order to keep my honor so like it or not you have a body guard for what it's worth"

Russeth glares at Druid for a moment and then steps back. "Why would a priest be nicer to us than any other customer? Why would they have set a price for resurrection in the first place then?"

[Druid]: "Perhaps...but perhaps not. Do not tell me that everyone has a set price, because they do not."

[Zakren]: "I can't raise anyone...how would I know? And anyway...raising cannot be done to everyone. Dying is a part of life, accept it.""

Elina gave Isreal a sweet smile and nod "Thank you my friend. Let us hope that there will be no more death in this journey that we take together."

Mordineon looks at the others 'Can we like talk about this along the way?"

Druid nods to Mordineon in agreement.

Hawk puts together a quick travois to put Gremag on " I'll carry him first. "

Druid opens her spellbook. She pulls a vial from one of her pouches and pours the strange liquid onto the ground.

[Isreal]: "it is the goodness in most of us the priest would see you have no knowledge in these matters. Any way none of us have seen it I would pay just to know it is real an not stuff of wives tails you grow more an more heartless ever day don’t you Russeth"

[Elina]: "Cast the transport spell Druid, and let’s get out of here. It’s not going to do us all any good debating what we should or should not do."

Russeth nods at Hawk and then turns to Zakren, shrugging. "Oh come on Zakren. They’ll learn."

Druid mutters a few arcane words and the liquid begins to take on the form of a disc. Watching closely as the disc begins to float roughly 3 feet off the ground.

Russeth shrugs at Isreal. "You grow more and more sense-less every day, thief. Anyway I don't really care about your judgement anymore. He steps out front and looks behind at all his friends, sighing deeply. "I guess we'll be on our now."

With the vines getting cut down and Gremag buried in a sack upon your backs you begin making your way onward through the thick undergrowth of weeds and small trees. Trying to get back to the Halfaxe Trail licking your wounds as you go making your way into the forest en-route to Velarsburg, you try to pick up your old trail with little success. As you bushwhack through the under brush trying to put enough space between you and the caverns. Sprinkled with rain from the skies above as the water, falls from the upper leaves of the canopy traces of the sun can be seen peeking through the overcast but giving no signs of stopping the rain. With several days travel to go you move quickly as to head out before staying another night in this area.

[Isreal]: "well good your judgement has not been the best thus far O fearless leader"

Continuing on you come upon a small clearing where you see a barren patch of land a small woodland creature. The little brown and white-stripped creature appears to be eating a root or nut. Moving in the small critter looks up and with out, the slightest of instinct runs off into the heavy growth of the forest floor.

Russeth looks at the dripping water and sighs again. "We will head straight south to the trail, this way we will spend less time in the deep forest than on our way in."

[Elina]: "That was a pretty neat spell Druid. Maybe you could teach me some spells to widen my horizon." Elina smiled at Druid

Druid returns the smile. "And perhaps you could teach me as well. But after we help Gremag. And I know we will help Gremag."

Isreal helps with the body where he can as they make there way through the forest

Elina nodded and said, "Yes of course."

Russeth glares around at the people around him shaking his head. Most of them have already gone back to their usual smiles and behavior. "Bah. And I'm the heartless one." He mutters under his breath as he continues along.

Isreal mutters "yeah at least they can move on you dwell in the past "

Russeth spins around and glares at Isreal, "Would you please tell me what the hell you're talking about?"

With the day now in the late stages you see the shadows are growing ever so surely in an attempt to once again blanket the land in darkness, you travel onward nearing the trail with every footstep taken. When you come across a large brown bear that stands upon its hind legs standing some 8 or 9-foot tall growls and gnarl's as it comes in swinging its two front massive paws. Be it surprised or out for the hunt is of little concern as it attacks upon the front of your line.

[Elina]: "Stop the squabbling. It’s really not necessary. Let’s just get out of here." Elina said.

Zakren draws his sword and charges it while licking his lips.

Isreal move to get behind the bear looking for a big rock. "I will talk to you later Russeth about this"

Russeth looks at the others, however avoiding Isreal. "Damn. Let me try to." He shrugs, charging aside Zakren he draws his blades. "Let's give Gremag that one. It’ll be for him."

The bear lunges forward upon Russeth as he stops to turn in which saving him from the slicing claws.

Hawk draws his sword " Look big and hairy I am not in the mood for your shit. So I shall give you the GIFT "

Isreal taunts the bear trying to get it to turn its back to the group. "Get ready to stab the thing"

Zakren circles around the bear to attack from his right side and responds to Russeth..."Ya well I want a piece too." He lunges at the bear with his longsword in front of him to drive it into the bear but as it attacks Russeth, Zakren misses.

Russeth nods at Zakren as he sends both the blades forth, both of them missing the target wide.

Hawk takes a mighty swing at the bear " THE GIFT!" and only scratches the beast

Mordineon stands back watching the fighter’s battle the bear.

Elina started making quick magical signs with her fingers as she took some fine sand from her spell pouch and scatters the sand while muttering some words. Upon completing her chant, she spoke the word "Sleep" and pointed at the bear.

Druid, while everyone is charging at the bear, looks around the ground and gathers three small pebbles.

Elina stands there with hands forward as nothing happens.

Feragan stands back an in some strange tongue sends a beam of white light striking fourth hitting the bear.

Russeth curses in elven as both his strikes are at a fair distance from the target. "This one's for the dwarf!" Yelling as he swings twice again, dodging the paws of the bear as much as his ability allows him to.

Zakren moves in position to attack the massive beast again and calls out to the group..."We need to rest again after this. Some of us are still wounded from the two last battles."

Isreal now behind the beast tries to run in and tag it with his dagger making it turn its back to the group

Druid chants a few words, causing the pebbles to glow brightly. She tosses them twice in the air, before throwing them towards the bear.

Isreal lunges at it an hits but pulls back with little blood on his dagger

The pebbles bounce from the bear as Isreal stabs it in the back, which only seems to enrage the beast more.

Hawk lets out a loud battle cry " THE GIFT! " and swings at the foul beast as he misses the foul beast and curses to himself.

The bear charges threw your group as it claws at Elina striking her twice across her shoulder and upper chest on the right side.

Russeth lunges forward as the bear charges by, drawing blood from the beast with all his might. Missing twice for the second time he is as enraged as the beast itself, watching the lady being hit twice.

Elina screamed as she sank to the ground in pain, slumbering senseless to the ground.

[Druid]: "No!"

[Isreal]: "DAM YOU BEAR"

[Mordineon]: "AHH!" Screaming out as he swings his mace missing the beast as he almost falls over from the swing.

[Zakren]: "Well this is great..."

Feragan rushes up to try and scare the bear back to the others.

Zakren slashes wildly at the bear since he realizes any strategies used against this mindless beast would be wasted. His attacks fail.

Druid reaches into her left pouch and grabs some finely ground sand. She hurls it at the bear, muttering "Sleep", as she does.

With Druids words the bear lowers it self down to all four before slowly lying down and off to sleep.

Russeth glares down at the bear a faint smile upon his face. He whispers, "Grab the fallen we need to leave this bear alone dear god."

[Isreal]: "kill it, it has the scent it will follow us"

Zakren moves over to the bear and raises his sword..."Alright...I'll hear the arguing before doing it anyway..."

Hawk " Let's get out of here before that damn thing wakes up."

[Isreal]: "it will follow us I am telling you kill it now an be done with it"

Mordineon binds Elina wounds before she bleeds to death.

Zakren shrugs..."I'm just hungry..."

Russeth nods at Isreal. "Right. Isreal the full-of-sense man. We will walk a hundred feet away and you dispatch it, then we'll be rid of it. Okay?"

Druid runs over to Elina, helping to bind her wounds.

Hawk "Hmm Bear meat GOOD "

[Mordineon]: "Zakren you need to pray and heal me so I can pray and help heal the others." Mordineon looks up from the lass's side.

[Isreal]: "yes but we have little time we must go "

Russeth shrugs. "All right what the hell. It fell Elina we're gonna smash it down." He rises his two swords and looks at the others.

[Druid]: "NOOO!"

Zakren nods to Russeth to give the order.

[Druid]: "Leave it alone!"

Russeth grins. "Now that I want you don't? What's wrong with you people." He lowers his blades slowly.

Zakren rolls his eyes.

Isreal tries to care for Elina

Russeth walks off into the forest, hiding beneath some of the brushes he glares the party, waiting to see till they're done.

Zakren shrugs and brings the sword down into the creature's neck.

[Isreal]: "can anyone help her?"

Russeth looks surprised at Zakren's act he remains hidden, he thinks.

Hawk takes a drink of ale from his wineskin and wipes the sweat from his brow and walks over to Russeth " ya want a swig? "

Druid turns to Zakren with a look of disgust upon her face.

Russeth doesn't quite notice Hawk's comment as he waits for the bear's awakening, thinking Zakren might have had a very bad idea.

Zakren stabs the bear in the neck as it growls and rolls over getting to its feet once more now towering over Zakren.

Zakren brings his sword in front of him to parry his claws..."Well hello again."

Druid mutters "Foolish", as she finished tending to Elina's wounds.

Zakren charges at it.

Isreal picks up Elina and holds her "can any of you help her or do we take her like this". Tries to get Elina safely away from the bear

Russeth rises his sword and jumps to his feet again. "Zakren remind me to beat you on the head a couple of times after." He charges into the fray by his side.

[Elina]: raised her head, and looked around. "Oh god, Thank you Druid. I was near death's door."

Zakren shrugs his words of..."Ya, ya, ya..."

Druid smiles at Elina. "It is the least I can do. I was near despair's door before you".

Isreal turns to face the bear ready to attack

Russeth sinks his two blades into the creatures, back as he ignores Zakren once more.

With Russeth’s two blows to the beast it falls off into the brush and kicks about a few seconds before coming motionless.

Elina bounced up and down upon Isreal's shoulder and said "Well you can put me down now Isreal. Thanks"

Zakren cleans his sword off in the grass..."There we go."

Hawk charges back into the fray " All right damn it! This time we kill it "

[Isreal]: "good glad to see one of us could finish it off"

Zakren looks around their area for some wood...not walking off to far from the group.

Russeth shakes his head at Zakren as the creature slowly perishes. He looks at Hawk. "Faerun to Hawk. Faerun to Hawk the bear's already down."

Druid walks over to the bear, checking to see if it is dead.

The bear is now dead as it bleeds across the leaves and twigs upon the ground.

[Elina]: "Em Isreal, do you mind putting me down now?" Elina said, repeating her words.

Hawk picks up his wineskin and takes another drink of ale and looks at Russeth " Pull my finger. "

[Isreal]: "ZAK DONE DO THAT AGEN STRIKE CLEAN FOR THE HEART please for the sake of the group"

Druid kneels down to the bear, whispering someone to the dead body.

Isreal lets her down gently"

[Elina]: "Thank you." Elina curtsey to Isreal and tried to brush leaves and twigs from her hair and robe.

[Isreal]: "not at all my lady"

Russeth sighs deeply, twirling his blades and sheathing them in style. "The bear is dead. We must set camp tonight, I will put perfume on Gremags, well on him, so as to not attract too many creatures." He drops his backpack, taking out a small vial of perfume.

Isreal bows

[Elina]: "Should we rest? I can tend to wounds for those who are injured after I finish my studies"

[Isreal]: "good thinking we should stay on better watch also I say two people stand watch until we be out of the wood"

Russeth lets a few drops fall on Gremag, muttering a small prayer for the dead, as he knows what fate he has stumbled upon. "I will take the first watch. I fear I will not be able to go to rest soon."

Hawk walks off to find a place to sleep " Heh, they're getting wiser "

After dealing with the bear you bind your battered bodies and continuing to rest here as you decide to make camp before night falls.

Elina sat down near the rest and studied her spells memorizing them quickly.

Druid joins Elina in her studies, handing her a scroll she was working on during their march.

Isreal pulls out his old battered book an reads it for a wile then closes it an falls into sleep

You set camp and prepare for a quiet night hopefully so you can get your strength back from the recent rash of encounters. As you eat, rest, and study for the proceeding day to come. Before head off to sleep.

Russeth lies back down on the grass, considering everyone, or most everyone, is still awake. He rubs the rings on his fingers and sighs, crossing his hands behind his head. "Today has been the saddest."

Russeth glares over at the ladies, "Say my' ladies. You will be first to take the double watches tonight. And I'm pretty sure you can keep yourselves busy."

Hawk belches " you said it Russeth '

Russeth drifts over and takes some sleep, not giving them any other words.

Druid nods to Russeth.

All the spell casters seem to have joined together to pray and study as Mordineon sits off to the side waiting to get healed so he can join them. Several hours pass as they finish with their works and begin to stand and spread out.

Druid shows Elina her spellbook, so that she may copy anything else she may find interesting.

[Isreal]: "it was nice studying with all of you"

Elina looked at the book Druid passed her and said "Thanks." and quickly copy down what ever spells that she needs.

Hawk curls up in a ball and tries to keep warm knowing some damn stinky kobold is sleeping in his tent and winter blankets tonight

[Isreal]: "I must get some rest now, wake me at 2nd watch"

[Druid]: "All right, Isreal."

Russeth comes back from his trance as he notices all of the mages still awake. "Wow. Studying keeps you guys and girls awake for a while. I will take it on from now on."

Druid laughs quietly at Russeth.

Russeth walks over to Gremag, sniffing the air hoping his perfume is still in effect. He glares into the dark wilderness with his infrared spectrum.

Zakren sits back against a tree and dozes off under his hood.

Elina shared her book with Druid as she shared hers with her. "Here. We can look through them together."

Mordineon gets up and goes over and kicks Zakren. "Hey, you know I could really use some help here if you don't mind?"

Druid smiles at Elina, realizing that these next few days will be better with her to talk to.

Russeth turns around and sighs watching Mordineon. He rubs his own wounds and notices they are probably bigger than his and smiles.

Zakren grunts at Mordineon..."Now or in the morning...same damn thing and they'll have time to cool off..."

[Mordineon]: "By morning I can have my own spells and we can cure twice as fast."

Zakren stands..."Why don't you study then?"

The night rolls on with nothing but the nightlife moving and scurrying around in the woods as the watch changes over while the others rest.

Russeth walks over to the lifeless bear and takes his watch to use his skinning knife and skin part of the bear. After what he prepares enough meet for pretty much everyone in the party for a few days, he places the meat on a rock not knowing what to do with it for now.

Isreal wakes and yawns loudly and stretches and walks to Russeth "if I help it would be faster would you like some help with the bear?"

Hawk " zzzzzzzZZZZZZZZ! "

Russeth glares at Isreal his little hatred having dissipated during the fight. "I guess. I'm making fillets for the party, you any good at that?" He grins slightly. "I'm not."

Zakren begins to chant silently as to not wake the others. His hand quickly begins to glow a blue again and as he touches Mordineon; the light leaves his hand to cover Mordineon's body. He repeats the process two times.

[Isreal]: "I used to be a butcher in the dale I am one of the best"

Druid shudders as she remembers Isreal's attempt at butchering.

Mordineon nods, "thank you Zakren now maybe I can rest."

Russeth sees the flashing blue light across the small clearing and smiles. He nods at Isreal, handing him the skinning knife. "You want to use this?"

Zakren nods to him... before chanting again. As he finishes, a blue light covers Zakren's body.

[Isreal]: "I would like to say I am sorry for the way I have been acting I mean no disrespect ranger. Its just I have had a hard life and have had little people to trust so I hope you see why it is hard for me to be in a group such as this ". Takes the knife and starts to work

[Elina]: Upon finishing her studies, Elina returned the book to Druid, thanking her in the process and fell into deep sleep.

Mordineon keeps to him self as he begins to pray near a tree close to the rim of camp.

Zakren sits back down and sighs as he takes his holy symbol again and begins to mumble under his breath.

Hawk 'zzzzzzzzzZ. "

Several hours pass in the night when you hear the sounds of rustling off in the woods to the left of your position. While most of the others are sleeping

Isreal looks up "what was that?"

Russeth nods to Isreal understanding he leans on a nearby tree. "That's ok. Though there will be no need for you to steal amongst innocents anymore, I am pretty sure with us you will be well provided in money. However if we meet an evil person I'll have nothing against you picking their pockets!" He smiles patting him on the shoulder.

[Isreal]: "thanks but we should see what the sound was, don’t you think you see what it is and I will wake the group"?

Russeth brings a finger to his mouth, motioning Isreal silence he reaches for his swords.

Russeth notices it's a bit too late for silence he strolls over to Zakren and shakes him softly, hoping not to make him scream.

Isreal hurries to the group waking each of them softly and motioning towards the brush

Hawk "zzzzzzz ZZZZZZZZ"

Zakren curses at Russeth as he loses his concentration on his prayer..."What the hell do you want now?"

Russeth glares in the wilderness, hoping he can see the source of the rustle. "We heard something. And if it was just my imagination, I want healing." He grins, but shortly as he turns his attention back to the east.

Elina woke; rubbing her eyes and smiled at Isreal "Morning"

[Isreal]: "Shhhhh there’s something in the wood"

The rustling can be heard, as it grows closer then seems to go farther away.

Zakren stands up and draws his sword..."I'm out...I healed Mordineon and myself..."

Druid looks about to see what is going on.

[Elina]: Noticing the sudden silences amongst the group, Elina stood up and tense herself.

Russeth curses in whispers, as he glares in the rustling's direction. "I sense some goddamn vines again, stay put."

Isreal whispers "what should we do it seams to be leaving but it could be flanking us"

Hawk " Snort! What!" gets up scratches himself belches " BLAATT! " and breaks wind " FEEERRRTTT!"

[Zakren]: "This better be something worth stopping my prayer..."

[Isreal]: "you can’t go alone I will come to"

Checking out the surrounding area and noises you can see who or what is making them. Across from you in the thickets stands a medium size elk that is making its way through the undergrowth while paying little mind to your presence.

Russeth shrugs and sighs in relief. "Leave it alone."

[Isreal]: "that’s good to see something that will not kill us an eat us for a change"

Zakren plants his sword next to a tree..."Damnit...go check it while staying close to the group next time before waking us all for nothing..."

Hawk turns and looks at the group ' Did you hear that elk? "

Druid sighs at Hawk.

[Isreal]: "we just wanted to be safe"

Russeth glares at Zakren dangerously. "I will do that when I'm not deeply wounded!"

Feragan returns to bed sleeping under a small bush.

Isreal goes back to work cutting and cooking the beat

Zakren sits down next to his sword and closes his eyes as he rubs his holy symbol as he mumbles under his breath

[Druid]: "Let us continue before Gremag is lost to us permanently!"

Mordineon never got up as he rests in a deep sleep.

Druid sighs as she sees that two have already returned to sleeping.

Russeth walks back with Isreal; "We leave tomorrow morning, Druid. Zakren, I am next on your healing list." He smiles sheepishly as he continues walking.

Morning of the next day comes as Russeth awakens you. Getting up and doing your morning routines you see the rain still hasn't begun to show signs of letting up any time soon as the ground becomes wetter with every passing hour. With the canopy above you feel the effects of a light drizzle as you step between streams of water that waterfall from tree to tree and leaf to leaf as it makes its way to the foliage below.

Hawk returns to sleep chuckling to himself

[Elina]: "Druid may we continue with the studies?" Elina asked Druid with a smile.

Russeth cracks his neck as he wakes everyone, smiling at Zakren. "Today we will head straight South, to the Half-Axe trail."

[Isreal]: "well the good thing about the rain it will hide our sent some but Russeth best to buy some more smelly stuff on the body"

Druid nods to Elina. "Until everyone is ready to leave. We must make Gremag our top priority. Though I have no objection to studying in between." She grins at Elina.

Isreal gets in the group to study spells

Mordineon wakes to the dripping of water upon his face a s a large leaf as bent over pouring water upon him. "Ahh! I'm up geez leave me be!" Rolls over and sets up against the tree.

Hawk gets up yawns stretches and lets out a loud belch and breaks wind " Lets have bear for breakfast "

[Elina]: "Ok. Lets make the best of what time is available to us." nod with a smile.

Feragan slowly gets up and stretches out, as he looks around the woods scratching him self.

Zakren gets up and walks over to Russeth..."Alright don't move or talk..." He begins to cant and his hand quickly begins light up with a blue glow. He then touches Russeth's head and the light engulfs the ranger for a moment before disappearing. He repeats the process 3 times.

Mordineon gets up and waits for Zakren to finish curing so he can take over for whom ever is left.

Russeth fakes that he is about to talk or step forward a few times, smiling at Zakren.

Zakren shake his head..."Told you not to move."

[Mordineon]: "Ok who needs the healing hand?" Looking about to the others.

Russeth smiles looking at his wounds. "Well hmm Zakren, that's the best you can do." He grins. "I would ask for more healing but some need it more than me."

[Mordineon]: "Ok then if you are all fine I will heal myself some more then." Walks back over to his tree to begin praying.

Russeth walks over to the edge of the clearing, trying to discern which direction they are heading.

[Zakren]: "I could use some too..."

Elina finished copying another spell into her spell book and returned the book to Druid, nodding her thanks and stood up asking, "Any one needs tending to? I can help a little with what healing knowledge that I know of."

Hawk builds a fire and starts to cook up some bear meat for all to have for breakfast

Mordineon nods and makes his way to Zakren and begins to pray over him sending a bluish white light into his wounds.

Druid does likewise. "Aye...we are here to heal".

Isreal hurriedly studies and when finished stands an says, "well the food should be done by now everyone take a share"

Zakren nods to Mordineon in thanks.

Russeth points in a Direction, "I am pretty sure this direction to be south. I will gladly accept any more healing, if anyone has the means. Then we all eat the meat me and Isreal have prepared, and depart!"

[Mordineon]: "Are you ok now?" Looking towards Zakren for a response.

Elina took some of the food and took small bites of it, chewing slowly and tasting the flavor.

[Zakren]: "It didn't heal all but it will do for now."

Isreal takes a few days rations that he cooked for everyone in the group last night and stuffs them in his sack

Russeth glares at Elina with interest. "What other abilities like that have you got, dear Elina. I think that is Elina?"

Zakren changes his wounds and applies a few herbs to it.

Hawk looks at Russeth " Why don't we pack that meat out of here, and eat the meat I just cooked for breakfast? "

Elina nodded at Russeth and proceed to bandage small wounds with herbs, hoping that it will help the ranger somewhat.

Druid walks over to Russeth. She smiles at him for the first time in a while. She happily places her hands over him, as her eyes begin glowing, a deep blue as a like color flows through her arms into and throughout Russeth's body.

[Mordineon]: "Very well." Makes his way over to Russeth and performs the spell twice over him as his hands give the life light back to Russeth.

[Elina]: "Well I can cook pretty well too." Elina said with a smile.

[Mordineon]: "Well that does it for me on cures either we wait a few hours or wait until tonight?" Standing up and gathering his gear.

Russeth smiles back at a lady with the same happiness. "Well now that's too much, some need it more than me but well. Ok if it's that important to touch me." He smiles

[Isreal]: "well as can I my lady so I tuck the time to help Russeth prepare these rations of meat for us all"

Elina gave a small laugh and said, "Don't flatter your self. If it gives a boost to your ego, so be it"

Russeth nods in thanks to the both of them. "I thank you. My friends." He smiles at Elina. "I'm just kidding. Now I guess we can be leaving?" He turns and faces what he thinks to be the South.

Hawk " oh well, that means more for me '

Druid laughs heartily, the events with the bandits now a distant memory.

[Elina]: "As I noticed too my dear Isreal." Elina returned with a giggle

Zakren moves over to Hawk..."Ohh sorry I was busy...I definitely want to eat some."

Elina gathered up her gear and made it clear to the rest that she is ready to go.

Isreal smiles an blushes not a problem my lady "

Russeth nods at Elina after her ability to cook mention. "Ah, this is nice. You can hold banquets for us?" He smiles then his sight lowers onto the 'remains' of the dwarf. "I hate to carry him like he is just an item."

Isreal packs up and starts to head out then helps take the body through the wood

Zakren takes a big piece of bear and begins to eat it.

Hawk looks over at Zakren " get what you want "

Druid follows Russeth's gaze, her mood quickly changing.

Zakren smiles at Hawk and carves a large piece of bear and packs it up for further meals.

[Elina]: "Lets get going shall we? Don't really want to have the Dwarf rotting on us all."

[Druid]: "Are we ready to continue?"

Russeth nods at Hawk assuming this is good for him too. He takes a handful of meat and stuffs it by short bits into his mouth. "Thank you Hawk. You can have as much meat from the bear as you want." He helps Isreal pack up the meat by filling himself a sack as well.

[Feragan]: "Salt him" Feragan Blurts out.

Zakren nods..."I'm ready..."

Isreal starts to move with the pawl bearers

Druid turns angrily on Feragan.

Eating some of the beast in the morning and taking care of some cures you are ready to move out and getting under way you travel a short bit before you come to a small clearing where the rain falls directly to the ground. It seems the trees in this area have been crushed and knocked over covering an area of some 50x70 or so feet. Many of the trees still lay where they have fallen, now covered in brush and brambles making your footing a little precarious.

Russeth nods at Elina "Anytime." He looks over at Feragan and shrugs.

[Isreal]: "what killed the threes over Russeth?

With close observation of the area you see large chunks taken out of the trees, while moving away some undergrowth you are able to make out signs of large claw marks along some of the trunks. Others appear to have been ripped right from the ground and tossed aside. Stepping through the tall grasses of the area small woodland creature's take to the woods as they scurry from their dens from your intrusion.

Russeth glares at the crumbled forest. "Well. That is quite surprising. What would've caused this in the middle of the forest." He turns and shakes his head at Isreal, "Something huge. Like a Giant. An Ogre." He emphasizes on the word giant, his eyes narrowing.

Zakren moves his right hand to his hilt..."This is just great. Can't we be left alone for a while?"

Hawk looks over at Russeth and then back to the LARGE CLAW MARKS " I sure hope that those aren't from a Dragon. "

Elina shakes her head "Not ogre or giant I hope. Let’s find another path. I am not too eager to meet something large"

[Isreal]: '"yes giant we should mind our P's an Q's through here. Shut up Hawk don’t jinks us".

Russeth shakes his head. "We'll just continue south and avoid the area. Let’s get out of here quick." He begins walking around the unnatural clearing and continues south afterwards.

[Isreal]: "we don’t need to run into one of those out here we are ill prepared for that"

Hawk " Hmmm. I wonder if Dragon is good eating? "

Isreal follows fallen friend in hand

Russeth nods at Hawk. "It eats you good."

[Isreal]: "well you stay to find out an tell us how it goes" laughing

With a thorough search of the area you move out making your way through the dense underbrush for some time as the sun begins to fall causing the shadows to grow ever so largely. The rain has been steadily falling for the last few hours making the ground mushy under foot as your feet sink several inches into the muck below. Searching for a dry place to camp is all but hopeless as the rain falls through the small gaps in the canopy above and from every tree leaf along the way down as the clouds carpet the sky above you.

Druid takes up the rear.

[Isreal]: "well this is great I never thought the old man was right 40 day an 40 night I laughed to my self about it looks like it's coming true"

Hawk tries to find some dry wood to build a fire with so the group can warm up and dry out

Russeth raises a hand at shoulder height, feeling the water pouring down from the trees. "Geez. We’ll have water at knee height pretty soon if this goes on, getting out of the forest is imminent." He speeds up in front of the others with a lot of thoughts running through his mind.

Druid notices that some are preparing to set up camp. "We can certainly continue through the night. Unless someone has any objections."

Isreal puts the body down carefully and sits to find a dryer spot under a tree to keep the rain off his head at least

[Druid]: "I would rather not fall asleep in the mud, and wake up covered and suffocating in it."

Zakren nods to Druid..."We won't be able to sleep in this anyway..."

[Isreal]: "with what could be out there no fooling druid but are you crazy?"

Russeth nods at Druid, "Not sleeping tonight might be a good idea. Maybe we can even reach the trail tonight."

[Elina]: "I suggest we continue to push on. The dwarf's corpse will not last long in the damp"

[Isreal]: "ok well it's against my better judgement but I will follow you guys I don’t want to be alone out here"

Russeth shrugs. "You don't want to sleep in that."

Druid grins at Isreal. "Always one to join in the fun, Isreal". Follows Russeth's lead.

[Isreal]: "well as I said I will do what the group does I am not being left behind not out here"

Russeth continues his way to the south, paying little mind to the rain, and more to the surroundings.

[Elina]: "Lets get moving if we decided not to rest here tonight. Will really like to get out of this forest. Have enough forest for one lifetime." Elina said giggling.

Hawk has built a roaring fire in the covering of the trees and yells at the group " My, this is a warm fire '

Druid laughs in agreement with Elina.

Mordineon sits upon the wet ground praying for his spell as the others decide on camping or moving.

Russeth rolls his eyes away from their sight, bringing a hand to one of his hilt.

[Isreal]: "well hawk you stay behind there all going an I am going to"

Druid shakes Mordineon gently. "My apologizes to you and your god, my friend, but we are moving."

Elina started to follow Russeth and said, "Lets go. The fire will not do us any good. Walking might be a better way to warm our bodies."

Mordineon looks back to Druid with a cold stare. "Lass do not ever do that again." As he gets up dusting him, self off clearly upset about the interruption.

Hawk rolls his eyes and puts out the fire

Druid nods quietly to herself, angry that she had upset Mordineon.

[Isreal]: "ouch picky priests an unruly rangers will the madness never end?"

[Elina]: "Oh don't mind the grouchy priest Druid dear." Elina said smiling.

Isreal keeps walking

Russeth waits for everyone to follow, "Let's hurry now. What’s all the hustling?"

You sit waiting watching calmly looking off into the darkness as Mordineon gets ready as lightning flashes across the night sky striking a near by tree with a tremendous sound of force as the tree splits and begins to topple towards the camp you decided to leave. As it crashes down in the center snuffing out the tiny fire that had taken Hawk so long to build, but missing all those whom were currently in the area.

Russeth continues walking south as soon as everyone has joined them again.

[Mordineon]: "Heh see there’s your sign lass." Looking over towards Druid as he prepares to move out.

Hawk moves out cold wet and miserable

Druid makes an obscene gesture behind Mordineon. She mutters, "there's your sign".

Russeth jumps up as the thunder strikes so close and the tree falls. "Damn! No one's hurt?" He looks back with hope and then notices everyone is hurt so he sighs and continues.

[Isreal]: "we went no where this is great the night takes time from us instead of giving it to us"

Zakren looks down at the tree..."Hey Russeth, check it out to see if it wasn't a trap..."

Elina shakes her head in disbelief. "Mystra watch over us."

Druid turns to Elina in pleasant surprise.

You travel through the night until morning comes as the leaves continue to pour the rain that has been steadily falling the last few days upon you. With the morning light you think about just how close the large tree came to killing half of you from its fall in the night. Now with the night behind you, you can prepare to move out again onward to the trail. You proceed through the woods coming across small paths and clearings along the way. Nothing of importance as come to pass as the day once again begins to come to an end. With the relief of a peaceful day, other then the sloshing of your feet in the mud and foliage you can only hope the night will be just as peaceful. For with your forced march you all have become quite tired.

Russeth looks down at the tree, wondering how many trees were hit by lightning this night. "Damn again. Let’s get the HELL out of here. Zakren, any more spells?" He anticipates the answer, his face dripping with water, he pulls his hair back.

[Elina]: "I don't think it’s a trap Zakren. We all saw the lightning flashed last night."

[Zakren]: "Of course not..." Turning to Elina..."You never know..."

[Isreal]: "well lest all get some rest where at a trail now best place to take some time"

Elina shrugged and started singing a song to keep the spirit alive.

Hawk walks along sipping a little ale from his wineskin

Russeth nods at Isreal reluctantly. "Getting some sleep in here. That’s gonna be hard. I'd rather sleep in the trees with the animals." He grins and stops at the edge of a clearing.

Druid tries to join Elina in the singing, though she quickly realizes that her voice cannot compare. She quickly ceases in her attempts, content to just enjoy Elina's singing.

[Elina]: "Come sing with me dear." Elina smiled at Druid; "It will keep everyone alive."

Isreal tries to rest eating some meat an drinking some water from the leaves an thinking of riches in the days to come"

Russeth looks upon the ground, thinking he might know if anything has passed by, but notices the rain makes it futile he shrugs. "How are we to sleep in these inches of muddy water?"

You come to a small area suitable for camping as you look about the rain soaked ground trying to find the best spot for the night. The rain at this point has begun to slow some from what appears to be dripping through the canopy.

Druid tries once again to sing along, this time picking up small nuances from Elina.

[Elina]: "Shall we make the best of this spot? Seems like its drier then the rest."

Mordineon once again knees down an attempts to pray for his spells once more while looking quickly over to Druid to see where she is before he starts.

[Elina]: "Druid may I have another look at your spellbook? I think I can complete the studies by tonight." Elina said smiling

[Druid]: "Wonderful to hear! I hope you succeed" Druid hands her spellbook over to Elina.

Russeth takes good care of finding the South again. Using his sense of the directions. He notices the side and trees on the side of the clearing that is south so that he can remember where it is.

[Elina]: "Thank you dear." Elina said and started to study and copy the book.

Druid sits next to Elina, studying her spellbook.

You sit in camp as some study and pray while the others talk about the woods about them with no fire to burn tonight. The woods are calm as the spell casters finish with their works and begin to go off to sleep.

Hawk finds a tree to lean his back up against as he sits

Mordineon stands up and looks about. "Anyone need healing before I go to bed?"

Isreal falls intro a deep sleep in a wet pool of water

Russeth drifts off to sleep in the muddy ground very pissed at all this, he disgustedly sleeps on his cloak, which he uses as a blanket.

Hawk " zzzzzzz

Russeth rises his hand before he goes to sleep.
