[DM]: Camped out in the forest as some of you sit by the fire while others sleep as you try to get some well-needed rest from your assault upon the bandit lair. A good bit of time passes with out the return of Greyspur, and Druid. The forest has grown quiet since the last disturbance a few hours ago. Morning still remains a few hours off as the darkness swallows everything around you, leaving you the small flicker of light from the campfire and no one knows how long this will last with the light rain falling in the area.

Zakren is still leading back against his tree and keeps a vigilant watch on the others.

Isreal wakes up after being rested "well what are we doing? Where are the others?"

Russeth sits silently by the fire, glaring around at the others by the fire he sighs deeply. "I wonder why Druid has left off in the forest, this was not that bright." He watches the dancing shadows provoked by the fire in the faces of his friends and smiles. "Not that I care that much, but loosing such a pretty lady would be a waste."

Mordineon and Feragan are asleep by the fire while the rest of you sit around waiting on the others to return from the woods.

Zakren shrugs..."She went after that ranger...it's her decision."

[Isreal]: "well we wait until morning an try to find them I guess no sense in getting lost in the darkness our selves. Right Russeth?"

Russeth tucks a few fallen branches into the now quite low fire and sighs again. "Before we leave this next morning, I would like to know if any of you had any plans in the future, I mean after taking care of the bandits, had you planned on anything?" Russeth has walked around and gathered the gems once again after Isreal had thoroughly detected magic upon them. Not wanting any trouble within the party he put them altogether, "We will split the money earned from the gem equally, except for those who'll end up with the rings, do you agree?"

Russeth nods at Isreal, seemingly more concerned than he was earlier. "If I cannot find their tracks I will just wait for Druid here, and if Greyspur is such a great ranger he will make efforts to follow our own tracks. If he fails, this'll prove we don't need him that much."

Zakren shrugs..."Fine we can split it next time we're in town...but I'll hang on to mine...just in case."

[Isreal]: "yes I agree an as for plains after being the one to see the map to the loot I had planed to stay on an try to get my share of that as well. As for the sailing ship I don’t know if I am well enough prepared to go out on the open ocean"

[Isreal]: "well I would like one of the rings since I have to ID them "

Zakren grins..."You only detected magic upon them...Anyone with a little magic can do that."

Russeth leans back against a nearby rock, paying attention to the surroundings more now. He shrugs at Zakren, thinking he has his trust, and looks the others in the eyes one after the other. He nods at Isreal, thinking partly the same way, as he runs over the maps and scrolls in his mind again. "Well Isreal, once the ring will be identified really, we will see who requires them more so than others, if the ring is of more use to you than others, you should get one of the rings. If not, I'm sure you will prefer money over the rings!" He gives him a warm smile as he looses his belt, his weapons with it.

[Isreal]: "An did you step up an do it?"

[Mordineon]: "Maybe you should see who could use them best before laying claim to them". Words come from the side as Mordineon sits up and shoves Feragan away from him some. Stretching and rubbing his eyes he looks around. "So the others still gone I see."

Zakren nods to Mordineon..."Aye, it's been a while now."

Isreal nods "As you all wish I have no problem with that"

[Mordineon]: "Maybe they are off doing the well you know."...Smiling widely as he pulls out his skin for a drink of water.

Zakren rolls his eyes..."Ya right..."

[Isreal]: "she did take a shine to the guy"

[Mordineon]: "I have seen stranger things then that my friend." Laughing to him self as he peers out into the surrounding darkness.

Zakren scratches his chin..."Maybe they won't come back then."

Russeth cracks his knuckles as he continues on speaking, this time of his own plans. "From what I have read of the five important maps we have gathered, I think there would be one specific itinerary." He reaches for the maps and clears his throat before speaking. "As simple as it is, this first scroll here speaks of a gem, hidden within the depths of the Velarwood, which you can guess is near Velarsburg. I'm pretty sure we will go there first, before we even claim our reward for the bandits. We will investigate there, after dealing with the gems and magical items. Afterwards we will go claim the reward in Harrowdale." He pauses a bit to gather his thoughts and brings a hand to the back of his neck. "This second map speaks of a vessel, in fact a Knarr. The stamp upon the deed is one of Scardale, my hometown, we could say. Our next step should be there, another quite interesting investigation." With that he rises to the others who are partly listening and smiles, he seems to be done.

[Mordineon]: "Hmm sounds good to me, wonder if the boat is seaworthy or if it’s a rotting haul upon the beach."

Zakren shakes his head..."I don't see why we should bother with that hidden gem. Won't help anyone. I say we go directly to the ship in search of the merchant's goods."

Russeth nods confidently. "Possibly in good condition, or else the person carrying it was quite stupid." He smiles slightly, reaching for his waterskin, then drinking from it slowly.

[Mordineon]: "true but the gem is the size of a mans fist or at least so by the papers." Rubs in chin thinking of it in his hand.

Russeth rises an eyebrow at Zakren. "Before we know anything about that gem we should get informed what do you think? Some gems are imbued with great magical powers too." He nods to Mordineon's comment, in agreement.

[Isreal]: "well I don’t thing we should disregard the gem it is what the bandits where looking for so it is important to someone I think we should go there to see what is all the fuss"

Russeth smiles at Zakren as he adds another important thing. "The gem is within a tower. And gem within a tower means more treasure than just a Gem." He reaches for the pile of branches and throws another atop the fire.

[Zakren]: "Risk our lives for curiosity or greed? Is that worth it?"

Russeth nods towards Zakren confidently. "I do that everyday."

[Isreal]: "me thinks greed is enough for me to risk my life" smiling

Russeth shrugs at Isreal, "I tend more toward curiosity then greed, if it's that important."

[Isreal]: "well it would help me reach my goals"

[Isreal]: "I am getting board sitting here as a thief I need to steal stuff an I don’t want to steal from the group"

Russeth puts back his waterskin after taking another drink. "Tell me, what would you use your gold with, anyway?"

Zakren sighs..."I'm only looking for money to survive a few months and to help others..."

Mordineon stands up and walks to the edge of camp looking out into the dark. "Well I don't hear anything out there that could be good or bad I guess."

Russeth brings his head back in confusion at Isreal, "You need. You need to steal stuff?"

[Isreal]: "well to tell you I would have to tell you about my self if you want to hear it lend me your ear an I will fill it with the hard ship that has been my life"

Russeth shuts his eyes slowly as he sees in his mind Isreal stealing. "I better not catch you stealing near me... And affirming yourself a thief this way sounds strange to me." He grabs his belt and ties it up again as he walks to the edge of the forest with Mordineon, wondering how far is daylight.

[Isreal]: "well I would think you would trust me more than that Russeth I have not stolen from you an you have had a use for me an I have be faithful have I not?"

Zakren stays on the ground leaning against his tree, his face hidden by his cloak’s hood.

Russeth shrugs, showing his back to Isreal. "You haven't."

Russeth turns around, as he notices nothing unusual in the night. "Yet the way you speak of theft from others so confidently is nothing that I like, stealing from me or from any other peasant or noble is the same thing."

Isreal stands quickly and stares at Russeth "tell me then how have I not done what the group has asked for me " with anger in his voice "do you say I have no honor?

Russeth shrugs at Isreal, "You misunderstood me. You haven't done anything wrong."

Russeth repeats to make sure he understands. "I meant you have not stolen from me or anyone here."

[Isreal]: "well it matters not what a simple ranger thinks of me I have my goals an you will not stop me from reaching them"

Russeth shrugs at Isreal, turning his back again. "If I catch you red-handed this'll be different however."

Mordineon snickers as the other talk. "Be right back nature seems to beckon me, but if I’m not back in a few minutes come for me." He turns to make sure the others have seen him.

[Isreal]: "well those who stand in my way will find knifes in there back you worry about your troubles an I will worry about mine stand in my way an you will pay a great deal with your fate"

Russeth turns his head and looks over at Mordineon, acknowledging with a slight nod, and then resumes his watch upon the endless wilderness.

[Zakren]: "Are you two done?" He rubs his holy symbol and watches the trees surrounding him as he a waits the sunrise.

[Isreal]: "I am done just as long as I have made my point well known?"

Russeth quickly turns around at Isreal, finding his comment quite arrogant. "Knives in my back you say? I guess that's enough. Don’t count on me to stand in your way. Even at that time where you will be running from your enemy, I will stand aside, not put myself in your way.

A short time later the bushes begin to rustle some as Mordineon makes his way back into the camp. "Well gents if nothing else I’m going to bed again see you all in the light." He walks over and rests up against a tree trying to doze off.

[Isreal]: "I should have guessed a cowardly ranger there are many of you infesting these woods why I have been placed with you only the gods know why"

Russeth moves away with that, somewhere close to where he lasts, seen Mordineon, waiting patiently on his return. He brings a hand to the hilt of his sword, all his senses alert as he looks about Isreal now and then, showing no obvious facial expression.

Zakren grunts as they continue..." Well wake me we'll start heading out."

Russeth nods at Mordineon as he goes to bed and rises an eyebrow at Isreal. "Maybe I was put in your way to show you the right path, what do you think?"

[Isreal]: "the path I have picked is the one I will take not even the gods could stop me from reaching my gold by what ever means I see fit"

Russeth grins, "We will see Isreal, we will see. And don't take this the hard way, unless you commit a crime right in front of me I will not interfere." With that he walks off again and finds himself a tree he decides to climb, to get a better view for his watch.

[Isreal]: "you know not the troubles I have seen you know not the torment of my life many a time I wish I would have been taken with my father or my mother to the promise land but let the gods torment me so. Speak lightly my dear ranger for one day this criminal may save you life"

[Gremag]: 'Ahh shut up god you elves never shut up"! Jumps from his bedroll and gathers his belongings and moves off into the woods some.

Russeth tries to climb up the first branch, his weight too heavy it breaks and you hear him hitting the ground hard, followed by a low elven curse. And then nothing more is heard.

Isreal walks over are you ok?"

Russeth leans against a farther trunk, keeping an eye on the surroundings by the help of his infrared spectrum, hoping the rest of the night to be uneventful.

[Russeth]: "Absolutely. Now will you please go sleep, so I get some peace?"

[Isreal]: "FINE you can take it for what it is worth an spin on it"

Isreal walks back an tends the fire

Zakren mumbles under his breath..."Someone's pride was hurt it seems." He chuckles under his hood and dozes off.

Russeth watches him leave and rolls his eyes. Then moves his eye, towards the lying Zakren, shaking his head towards him. "You wish."

Morning finally comes as you all settled in for the night with it passing relatively quiet in the area. Neither druid nor Greyspur have returned yet.

Isreal wakes the others and starts studding in his book

[Isreal]: "Russeth wake up we should go search for the others what if something dreadful happened to them?"

Mordineon gets up and stands to stretch out before gathering his gear as he walks over and kicks Feragan in the side. "Hey come on time to get up you lazy mage."

Zakren yawns and rises from his seat before stretching to wake himself.

Russeth stretches his muscles, having not slept much this night he feels a bit weak. "No sign of Druid or Greyspur yet huh?" He whistles softly as he glares around. "I will see if I cannot find their tracks." He then gets to work, kneeling here and there about the camp looking for a track to follow.

Zakren points in the direction Druid left..."Druid went that way when she heard a sound."

Isreal starts off in the direction she left "you two coming or staying behind"

Isreal walks off

Russeth brings a hand to his chin, an obviously unsatisfied Russeth jumps to his feet, watching Zakren and nodding. "Yet I can't seem to find their tracks, this is strange." He looks at Isreal and doesn't answer, "Learn to count." He smiles and mutters under his breath. "Street thugs don't count, they just take."

Russeth spoke low enough that Isreal couldn't hear.

[Isreal]: "he mumbles in elven "an your mother sleeps with the horses"

Russeth packs up his gear in vain seeing there's nothing else really to do then glares at Isreal in the distance. He pays no mind to Isreal's comment as he shouts, "What's the point of getting away from the trail, they'll come back if they ain't stupid."

Russeth replies in elven, "They ain't like you. Thus they ain't stupid."

Russeth then looks back at the trail they followed to get to the bandits' hideout. "What do you think Zakren?"

Zakren turns to where Druid left..."Well they did go off alone in the first place..."

Isreal keeps walking

[Zakren]: "And that wasn't to bright."

Russeth nods to Zakren as he points to Isreal, "Well that's a third person leaving off alone."

[Isreal]: "you guys hurry along? Their looks to be trouble ahead some one was dragged off "

Russeth grumbles a bit as he finishes packing up his gear, he then slowly walks the path Isreal followed.

Zakren sighs..."Ahh great...we have to go after them now."

Making your way up to where Isreal is he points out the marks of what appears to have been something being dragged off in the direction of the lair.

[Isreal]: "well cowardly ranger you take thew lead"

[Isreal]: "since you be the only one that can track"

Russeth looks quite confused at what all this is about, he moves in front after what was dragged, he looks around, making sure there isn’t any blood splattered about.

Russeth rises an eyebrow at Isreal. "That is not as hard to track as footprints."

[Isreal]: "well lead the way great blowhard"

Zakren rolls his eyes..."Ahh geez...shut up you two and just walk in silence."

[Isreal]: "you stay out of this it is between the man of the wood an the thug"

Russeth has not said a word and doesn't care to add one at Zakren's comment. He then proceeds onward, both his blades drawn, ready for pretty much anything.

You follow the path back towards the small cliff face where off in the brush you see a pair of boots sticking up out of the branches.

Russeth narrows his eyes at the man's comment. "He calls himself a thug."

Isreal says, "I will go down a check it out "

Zakren draws his sword and readies himself for a fight.

Russeth glares at the boots with interest, he looks at Zakren, Isreal and whoever else is following. Without a sound he uses one of his blades to point in direction of the bushes, "Wait." He blurts out lowly, "We go in a demi-circle around the bushes, I don't want nothing to run off."

[Isreal]: "very well where do you want me?"

Zakren stays still, taking his place in front of the bush.

Russeth sheathes his swords without a noise, drawing out his bow and nocking an arrow ready. With a movement of his eyes he walks slowly, avoiding making any noise he circles around the bush and to the right side.

Observing the boots you see they are attached to a dead human who has appear to have taken an arrow in the back since it still remains there.

Russeth notices the man and wonders if he is alone. He looks at the surrounding bushes and narrows his eyes, thinking it might pretty well be an ambush. He motions Isreal to take his post on the opposite side.

Isreal walks around to his side

Zakren whispers..."It's probably the human we attached and then ran away.

As you watch the surrounding area echo’s of a screaming lass can be heard coming from within the small cave up in the cliff face.

Russeth begins moving slowly as he hears Zakren comment and then scream, turning his head from one to the other quickly. "We attached a man?" He looks surprised, by both occurring.

Isreal runs off toward the scream and undoes his grappling hook an prepares to let it fly as soon as he is close enough

Zakren sheaths his sword and begins to climb the rock face.

Isreal lets thew hook fly an climbs the rope quickly

Russeth replaces his bow on his back, preparing himself to climb up the rope. "Damn it. I thought we got rid of those damn raiders. I will climb first, follow quickly."

Isreal is half way up the rope

Russeth shrugs as Isreal climbs first, he decides to climb last. "Go ahead Zakren."

Mordineon looks over to the others. "Yeah but remember how many beds we counted in the one area. Twice as many then the bandits we encountered."

Russeth nods at Mordineon as he draws his blades and looks out in the rear of the group, the shout they heard might have caught the attention of others than them.

Isreal climbs to the top and looks for the lass

Mordineon and Feragan begin to climb the rope once the others have reached the top and are off it.

Zakren climbs the rock face and quickly stands by the entry.

[Russeth]: Once everyone has climbed up, he sheathes the blades again, and hops onto the rope, quickly walking along the cliff face.

Looking down into the passage you know most of the area now by site you wait for the others before going in.

Isreal covers the front

Zakren silently draws his sword and waits for the others.

Isreal taps his foot waiting for the others

A short time later the rest have made it up to the cliff face as you look down and see a Broken Arrow lying on the rocks. The arrow matches the one in the back of the man below.

[Isreal]: "well lets go we must hurry"

Russeth glares at Zakren, "The man down there. It was certainly not the one we left." He nods at Isreal, "Right. Hurry up front!"

Isreal goes ahead

You begin to make your way into the passage when you hear from down on the inside the shouting of orders and the screams of a lass and sounds of men laughing and yelling.

Russeth positions himself straight behind Isreal; both his blades drawn again he walks with no sound.

Isreal pulls his dagger and moves quickly trying to surprise the men down the passageway

Russeth turns his head back at Zakren and stops. "Remain here, I will accompany the thief down the passage, once you hear sound of combat or violent screams, run in with us."

Russeth quickly turns around and follows Isreal in a similar fashion, as silent as a feline upon a soft ground.

Zakren shrugs..."Fine by me...how about screaming before you die too?"

Zakren grins and raises his sword.

You sit back in the hall with the others while waiting on any news from Isreal or Russeth but as of yet they are quiet.

Russeth walks back slowly with the rest of the party, he motions them to follow, not telling them yet what he has seen. He has left off Isreal in front.

Russeth sheathes the blades silently and draws his bow as he moves back within the darkness of the hallway, posting himself behind Isreal again.

[Guard]: "Why do you think I gave her to the men I knew her friends would return now hold your positions." As the guards speak waiting for your attack.

Russeth moves aside Isreal in the passageway, keeping his ground, and knocks an arrow. He leans against the left wall in the shadows of the hallway and waits patiently.

Russeth holds his bow out, pointed in the direction of the guards ahead. He believes to be well hidden as his eyes follow the heat sources walking in the room.

Russeth notices no one is taking any initiatives he releases the first arrow of his bow, quickly reaching for another and releasing it as soon as it should hit the target.

Isreal tries to back stab one of the me that do not know he is there

Russeth notices the guards' surprise and slow reaction as he takes the occasion to shoot another pair of arrows at a man standing nearby the one he just struck. A strange smile has set upon his face as he notices the successful hit of the two first.

Russeth’s arrows fly true as they stick the guard farthest on the left as he drops to the floor motionless.

Hawk charges up threw the fray and with surprise to you all smashes one of the men square in the forehead sending him to the floor bleeding as his blade seems stuck in the mans skull.

Isreal tries to plunge his dagger into of one of the men

As you fight the song from beyond the door becomes louder as if the singer were right next to you as the gentle voice puts you at ease while Isreal steps out from the side of the passage and manages to stick his dagger in the mans side.

Zakren pulls the string of his bow and let's two arrows fly towards one of the guards.

Isreal plunges his dagger into the man as he grunts in pain

Zakren ‘s arrows fly wide and miss their mark.

One of the guards moves in upon Hawk attacking him. With a striking blow he hits him across his right shoulder as he tries to fend him off in battle. Another man moves upon and begins to swing upon Isreal but is unable to contact with him.

Feragan stands in the back uttering a few words in some unknown tongue as he unleashes a flash of white light from his fingertips directly into the man Isreal struck sending him to the floor.

Isreal looks back

The man rushes in and swings upon Isreal striking him across the chest.

Isreal screams in pain and falls to the ground dead

This man also moves in against Hawk swinging upon him but is unable to connect with him. Another charges from the back head long into the fray and right into Zakren as he lands a square hit upon his left shoulder blade.

Mordineon rushes to Isreal’s side to aid with his wounds before its too late.

Gremag grunts as he charges fourth swinging wildly missing everything in site.

Zakren slings his bow over his shoulder with great ease, signs of intensive practice in this move. He then begins to chant while raising his hands towards the ceiling.

Russeth drops his bow as the song gets louder; a strange feeling sets upon him, and the female voice he hears seems to make him happy. He draws his blades out and charges in the fray, rising his blade up to one man's neck while the other twirls in the direction of the one who just hit Hawk. Failing to notice Isreal falling as he makes his way within.

[Guard]: "Ahh I’ll kill you all " Screaming as he swings high upon Gremag missing the little hairy dwarf running by.

[Guard]: "Heh that’s the spirit kill them all," Shouting as he attacks down upon Gremag missing him as well.

The dwarf runs through the battle swinging like a mad man as the one guard steps to the side and lands a square attack across the back of the dwarf as he goes by.

Russeth swings twice, effectively upon the bandits. "That's try. Or die trying!" His original sword slashes the man who just hit Gremag across the chest as the other sword sinks into the other one's flank.

Russeth opens up a massive attack upon one of the guards as the man goes down to the floor in a bloody mess. Another man swings upon Zakren missing him clean as he slips by along the wall.

Feragan stands back and throws some small objects towards the men two fly by harmlessly as one sticks a guard square in the chest.

Hawk moves up striking upon the man who was hit by the dart and sends him to the floor.

[Mordineon]: prays over Isreal as he lays his hands out over his body and along the wounds as a light blue light glow comes from his hands.

Gremag stands in the center of the room as he swings upon a guard missing him all together.

Zakren 's hand begins to glow, a bright blue light. The cleric then goes over to Hawk and sets his hand on him for a second and his begin glows for a moment and quickly fades. Zakren then takes a few steps back.

Isreal starts to stand back up and tries to reenter the battle

Zakren draws his sword and goes after a guard.

Russeth notices the weaker members of the party in the back suffering massive attacks and spins around to give them a helping hand. He drives his long swords down straight across the man attacking Zakren's back; his smile has faded away once he notices the fallen Isreal next to Zakren. Even though he sees Mordineon taking care of the fallen he grunts and swings madly.

There are 3 fighters left fighting in the battle, as the room of song is still growing strong. The room with the screams has ended as the door swings open and 4 more bandits enter the area.

Isreal gets to his feet and tries to hold back the on slot of the 4 new men entering the room

Russeth doesn't notice yet the oncoming bandits in his back as he continues his motion; he doesn't notice an unusual expression upon Isreal's face.

One of the fresh fighters storms out of the room with his pants half undone as he swings at the nearest intruder striking Gremag across the chest.

[Isreal]: "LOOK OUT RUSSETH BEHIND YOU!"

Another flees the room and attacks Russeth missing him as he ducks from Isreal’s call. The man to follow the first seems much more skilled with the blade as he slips by Gremag and sticks his blade straight into Russeth’s left shoulder

Isreal runs trying to help Russeth fight the man

Feragan stands in the back watching over the others to assist them if they get injured.

Russeth vainly continues his motion; he seems to have lost some of the courage he had earlier, having forgotten the screams behind the door. "Stupid bandits will all perish under my sword's might!"

This guard swings in upon Zakren missing him once again as he slips off. Another rushes in and stabs Isreal in the right side, no sooner as he rejoins the battle.

Isreal screams and passes out again

The guard tries to follow through like his comrade but is unable to score a hit upon Isreal as he backs away. Another guard rushes up stepping upon Isreal chest as he goes by and swings towards Russeth missing him.

Mordineon again tries to slip up into the battle to assist the downed Isreal.

Mordineon sneaking only works so well as one of the guards swings low coming up high striking Mordineon in the head.

Gremag tries to assist the Cleric as he fends off the attacking guard but is unable to strike the man.

[Isreal]: lays on the ground passed out

Russeth lowers his first blade upon the fighter attacking Zakren, slashing him effectively across the back, sending a sheet of blood on the floor. While he spins and swings the other bandit who struck him on the chest.

Russeth is borderline crazy as he swings into the enemy sending two of them to the ground at once.

Zakren makes an overhead swing at one of the guards' head but as the human comes up to block the attack, Zakren changes his line of attack and tries to slice his opponent's side open but the guard quickly recovers from the ruse and manages to parry the cleric's sword.

[Zakren]: ...but not before he manages to scratch him.

Zakren starts to chant another prayer to his goddess.

Russeth brings his blades together before he resumes the battle, feeling a little pride at his accomplishment he twirls the sword with agility moving toward the second warrior who fell Isreal, "You will regret your acts, fool, even though I am not a great friend of the thief." He adds no more as the bandit watches the two forthcoming blades.

Looking about the battlefield or room you see four guards remaining and Isreal down again on the floor.

[Russeth]: The first blade strikes the rocky wall at Russeth's miscalculation, the other one swings wide, unbalanced by the latter mistake.

Mordineon scrambles to Isreal side as he holds his own head to try and slow the bleeding as he begins to once again try and cure the hurt man.

Isreal takes in a great breath and he shudders as he attempts to stand again.

With Mordineon’s attention else where you see a guard step up behind him while he is stooped down and brings his sword back to the left as he lets it swing striking Mordineon in the back of the head as he falls forward over Isreal and tries to get away.

Zakren chants the same prayer as before and his hand quickly glows a bluish light. He then quickly touches Russeth and he is bathe in healing light for a second.

The guard comes in fighting hard upon Russeth but in unable to make the connection with his blade. Another tries to take Zakren’s head off but fails to do so as he swings short of his target. Another swings as he jumps over the cleric and Isreal missing Mordineon as he crawls away.

Still another comes in upon Feragan hiding in the back as he tries to defend him self with a weak looking staff as the guard misses striking the wall.

Hawk swings upon the man in the center of the passageway. "I'll teach you to sneak someone!" As he swings sending him to the ground motionless.

Feragan tries to fend the man off with little success in trying to land his attack upon the man.

Gremag swings trying to help Hawk but missing as he goes wide of his target.

Russeth watches the fighter attempt to swing him desperately, but he dodges the blows in a burst of laughter, sending his first blade across the man's chest quickly and swiftly. This time he does not insult the man in anyway, feeling his sword will deal enough pain. He notices another one leaping over the cleric; he takes a random swing with the second at the man jumping.

Zakren raises his sword once again and attacks.

Isreal tries to hit anyone and keep from being knocked out again.

The guard swings in low upon Russeth as he misses taking off his kneecaps. The second storms in upon Zakren striking him across his left forearm. Another tries to finish off the cleric but is pushed off by Hawk and Gremag.

Gremags swings as they push the man back but still can't seem to strike the man.

Hawk helping Gremag is unable to strike the man as the Dwarf steps into his area of attack.

Mordineon bleeding as bad as he is from the blows he has taken goes to Isreal and with one last prayer he tries to heal the man.

Russeth swings true upon both of his targets. His blade sinks deep into the arm of the man attacking him, while the random swing slashes the leaping man across the leg.

In a flash Russeth dashes around the room striking the enemy and sending two of them to the floor together. Feragan now freed of his attacker sits back near the exit waiting for the others.

Zakren angered but his wound comes in with a straight attack, putting all his strength behind the swing and strikes true.

Zakren strikes the man as he screams in pain and heads towards the exit as he bleeds from several areas.

Russeth spins around to see the bandit cowering in fear, he leaps a few times across the room that has now become a bloody battlefield, landing behind the runner, both his blades swinging across the man's defenseless back.

Zakren goes after the one still fighting.

Russeth nods to Zakren on the way, "Help the others, I've got this one."

Isreal attacks one of the men with all he is worth giving it his all

Isreal plunges his dagger deep into the man laughing an the dagger cuts the flesh

The wounded man runs out of the area and slashes at Feragan sending him to the floor in front of Russeth in pursuit. One of the remaining fighters swings at Hawk missing him as he ducks off to the left. As you continue to fight on once again singing can be heard from one of the rooms.

Russeth stops his pursuit as Feragan falls in front of him and cries out in pain, "Enough fallen, you will DIE!" With that he lowers both his blades toward the attacker's neck, one of them striking true.

Russeth chases down the escaping man and strikes him sending him off the cliff face into the brush below as he smacks the smaller rocks and branches below.

Gremag once again swings and misses his target. "Ahh what in the name of the gods can't I hit these men!"

Hawk returns his tag as the man slips off to the right avoiding it.

Zakren runs towards the guard with his sword held to his gut and runs him through.

[Mordineon]: Lays upon the floor trying to bind his head from the previous attacks.

Two guards remain in the area as the bodies begin to pile up making the battle more difficult to over come. Will be strong enough to take care of a single bandit.

Zakren 's loss of blood begins to diminish is strength. He steps back from the fight and binds his wounds.

Isreal tries to help clean up the last of the men

Russeth notices he is wrong as another guard pops out from behind the bodies, he stops binding the wounds and draws his swords, charging after him.

The guard once again swings at Hawk and misses him as he lowers his blade looking to the other man.

Russeth cries again in elven, "Enough is enough." One of his swords sinks into the man's flank, as he was unprepared for the attack. The man takes a last breath before Russeth releases the blade, showing no expression he watches the man fall.

As the guard goes to surrender Russeth swings almost taking his head off as he hits the floor very quickly from the blow.

Gremag jumps over the dead and stumbles over some of the extremities and is unable to land his attack.

The last guard standing sees his friend go to surrender only to be killed as he raises his blade and goes after Russeth striking him in the left side.

Isreal tries to stab the man before he gets to Russeth trying to save the sorry ranger

Mordineon staggers to his feet still looking a little out of shape, as the bandage around his head is soaked in blood.

Zakren sits and binds his wounds.

Hawk swings' Ahh Damnit! " Screaming as he misses the man.

Russeth sees the blade strike his left side. His face turns red and shakes as he twirls his blades to his side, having real intentions of cutting the man's arm away from his blade.

Isreal tries to move for the last guy standing to finish him off

The singing as stopped and became cries for help as if someone is trapped.

Isreal changes he movements an tries to move toward the screams trying to help the woman

[Guard]: 'AHHH may you burn in the nine hells you scum bastard!" As he rushes in striking Russeth again on the left side.

Isreal screams and falls flat on his face passed out again.

Mordineon steps towards the door with the cries for help as he tries to stay clear of the battle.

Russeth falls to the ground, as unbelievable as it may be.

Isreal stands up looking around hoping no one noticed him falling.

Russeth remains up, bleeding profusely from his side he spins with less vigor, trying to land his blow even through the pain of the two strikes.

Zakren well...sits down...watching the fight.

Isreal moves into help out Russeth as much as he can trying to draw the attentions of the fighters away from the injured Ranger

Isreal misses as he trips over a body

Gremag swings once again at the remaining fighter as he once again misses him. 'AHH this blade is cursed I tell ya!"

Russeth glares at the Dwarf as he strikes down the final blow. "Thank you dwarf, you were of much help in this fight." Russeth draws back his blade as the man slides off, not emitting a sound he falls to the ground.

Russeth finally gathers him self and lands a square blow upon the man as he goes down to the floor bleeding from the neck.

Isreal wipes the sweet from his brow tries to find the woman screaming.

Russeth sheathes his sword, hiding his pain as he does so. Once he is done however, he falls to his knees, holding his stomach and side with both his hands a single tear falls down his cheek.

Looking about you see no other guards in the area. Shouting can once again be heard coming from behind the door on the right.

Isreal opens the door to the right walks in and looks around.

Zakren looks at everyone around him..."Well we're a sorry bunch." He winces as one of his wounds acts up.

Mordineon looks back to the rest of you. "The door is locked check that one over there." As he points to the left door.

Russeth doesn't reply as he pushes himself up to Feragan who has fallen and was unattended by the sitting priest, the leaving wizard, the careless thief, and the busy warriors.

[Zakren]: "Gremag, be useful and open it."

[Isreal]: "the screams are coming from the right we must help her"

As Mordineon speaks you hear the sound of a lass calling from the area behind him.

[Russeth]: His hands drip with blood as he covers his own wounds from the bandages found in Fergan’s backpack. His sword sheathes also drip with blood, having been used more than often in this fight.

Isreal opens his pack and pulls out his leather case and tries to open the lock with his picks.

Gremag shrugs and charges the door slamming off of it as he hits the floor.

Zakren sighs..."I thought dwarves were made of rock..."

[Isreal]: "that’s is only in the head ZAK"

Russeth continues working on Fergan’s wound as everyone draw his or her attention to more potential danger. "Help me with Feragan, and Isreal open the damn door."

[Gremag]: "Ahh well maybe but I guess not all of us." Rubbing his shoulder as he gets to his feet.

Gremag grunts at Isreal’s comment.

Zakren shrugs at Russeth..."Can't do more than tend him for now."

[Russeth]: "Plus Isreal, make no comment for we saved your life three times during this fight. At least show respect to Gremag for taking hits for you half the time."

Russeth nods at Zakren, "And that's why I want you to tend him, while I tend myself. You are better than he is on this.

Zakren cringes as he gets off the ground and wobbles over to the fallen Wizard. He then tends his wounds and drops himself in a sitting position next to him when he is finished.

Russeth nods to Zakren as he approaches, "He will live, will you be fine, Zakren?"

Isreal says we must get in here I am thankful but thankful does not save this girl does it?"

[Zakren]: "I need time to pray...and no we aren’t leaving before I do...I doubt I could climb down with all these wounds."

Isreal searches the bodies for a key

Russeth limbs to the door, his arms and side being the only part of his body struck by the many blades. "Yes but the girl is not in our group!" He pushes the people aside from the door and kicks hardly upon it.

Mordineon looks on "I agree right now I want some rest my head is splitting I don't think I can even pray at this time." As he slides down the wall and sits upon the floor.

[Isreal]: "what if it is Druid?"

[Russeth]: The door swings open as its lock is broken apart, Russeth doesn't show a smile, even while being happy of the success he knows all of this is very sad. "There, the door is open."

Zakren turns weakly to Isreal..."Gather everything you find on them in front of me...I'll try to detect if any of it is magical."

Isreal grabs the stuff and lays it at Zakren's feet.

Russeth gives a cold glare to Zakren as he leaves the door. "This is not the time, detect magic upon it later, we must burn down whatever is flammable in this unholy place and leave!"

Russeth hits the door as it swings open to reveal two young ladies shackle to the wall as one is huddled up in the corner shaking the other seems to look up and say "Its about time" with a cute little smiles."

[Isreal]: "Well, you stay here I am going to look for thew girl I can’t let her die she is in trouble I can feel it"

Neither of these women are Druid or Greyspur for that matter. As you look around the small area.

Isreal walks in an says why ladies we are glad to help " an walks over at picks the locks of the shackles

The one who spoke seems to faint at the site of you coming in the room.

Russeth shrugs at Isreal, "Right. They are in trouble, and Feragan is in the most healthiest shape of the world."

Zakren snaps at Russeth..."I'll use this prayer so that I may pray for 3 cures instead of only 2...so mind your own affairs!"

Russeth shrugs at Zakren, "You can replace spells, fool!" He doesn't appreciate the snap as he walks away, kicking an inert bandit on the way.

Isreal quickly opens the locks and helps the women out the door.

Isreal frees the one lass who wears nothing more then a metal belt over her privates with tattered clothes hanging from it. Her upper body and breasts shows signs of scratching and biting.

Zakren ignores him and looks at everything before him.

Isreal takes off his shirt an cloak an drapes it over here

Russeth mumbles under his breath as Isreal helps the woman, "Lucky for them they can't be stolen anything."

[Isreal]: "I HEARD THAT "

[Russeth]: He then walks back to Zakren feeling he wants to see what he finds, and looks down upon the items. He also pays attention to the armor and weapons of all the bandits.

[Isreal]: "you guys keep the loot I will take the women " laughing

After a good search of the men you find 156 gold pieces and 72 silver pieces with a set of keys on a ring. Their armor and weapons appear to be standard issue as most of the blades are plain at best.

[Isreal]: "mind if I keep the keys you guys?"

Zakren begins to chant to his goddess and when he finishes, a gold light flashes in his eyes for a moment before fading completely. He then looks at what is at his feet and at all the weapons and armors of the guards.

[Elina]: "Thank you kind sir. "My stuff should be somewhere around here. I will need them if I were to be able to repay you with my service."

Russeth shrugs as he looks at Zakren, "You are our treasurer Zakren, I trust you, show me I am right." He then looks up to the ladies and sighs deeply, his wound still hurting badly.

[Isreal]: "ah no payment is needed unless you could help my friends"

Mordineon opens the other door the fighters came out of and looks into the room. 'Ahh geez what did they do?"

Isreal rushes over to have a look in the room

[Elina]: "may I have some water I have been here a while and the singing kind of dried me out"

Russeth glares at Mordineon confusedly, "I saw the man coming out with his pants undone, hope this ain't some animal ritual of some sort." For the first time after the fight he shows a slight smile.

Looking into the room you see Druid sprawled out over a table with her clothes torn off. She appears to have been beaten and rapped. In the far corner is a pile of packs and other gear strewn about the area.

Russeth looks back Zakren in the eyes, "Anything of note, Cleric?"

Isreal quickly runs in and drapes her and tries to help here. "OH GOD NO".

Zakren shakes his head..."There's nothing magical."

Isreal gives his shirt to the women and takes back the cloak draping it over Druid trying to help her up.

Russeth has not yet seen what's happening, but his smile has faded out hearing the complaints. He stands ground and looks about the right door. With a motion of his hand he lets Zakren know it's all right.

Russeth looks up to Gremag, "For this time, Dwarf, I will understand if you relieve them of their heads. I would ask you to please proceed once we have all left."

Elina gets up and rushes out of her prison to see what every one else is looking at. Looking into the room she sees Isreal covering Druid as she notices her gear and other belongings in the corner.

[DM]: The lass from the other room who was in shackles comes running out of the room to see what everything is about.

Isreal tries to shield her from the horrid sight.

Zakren closes his eyes and begins to mumble to himself.

Russeth limbs around, looking for the man with his pants undone with a look of disgust set upon his blood covered face.

[DM]: The lass goes in and over to the corner where a small pile of gear sits.

[Russeth]: Upon finding the later, he rises his sword, aiming straight at the neck he lowers it in a quick motion, yet another splash of blood is sent up almost to the ceiling, the man's head falls backward. Blood dripping down on the ground, not that it's all that remarkable with the bloodbath on the ground.

Isreal grabs up Druid and comes out of the room with her in his arms "We should leave an get her some help".
