Krissa sat at the kitchen table drinking a glass of milk as her mom and Diana chattered about old times. Taylor walked in the room and sat down looked at Krissa and said, "Geez what was that all about? Are you mad at me or something? I said I was sorry about the whole not helping thing, what more can I do?" . 'You can leave me alone.. I really like you but.. shut-up Krissa it's Taylor HANSON.. you are over him and his band!!', Krissa said to herself as she replied, "It's nothing Taylor just stuff." "Well can I join you for a glass of milk? Or are you waiting for someone? And as they say, 'Milk does a body good.' ", Taylor asked as he went over to the fridge around the talking mothers, grabbed a glass and sat down next to Krissa. "Yea Kris, can I call you Kris? ..good. Milk does a body good.. admire my stromg muscles and charming good looks.. all because of milk.",Zac said as he walked into the room from upstairs and flexed his muscles. "Are you sure you just don't have a big ego?",Krissa smart mouthed as Lia skipped in merrily and sat down far away from where Zac was standing. "I think he has a big ego and drinks too much milk.. which makes him have to pee like the time we were...",Taylor said as Zac evil-eyed him signaling for Taylor to shut-up. "So kids getting along well? We always knew you would. You kids look so darn cute together! I think it's time for a kodak moment! Let me just get the camera.",Penny said as she got it off the counter where she had previously laid it. "Oh no.. Mrs. Nicholes I must warn you, little man over there might just break the camera, so watch out.",Lia said as she pointed to Zac and Zac hit her. "Awwww puppy love!!",Krissa yelped as Taylor smiled. "Ok say cheese!",Penny said as she held the camera and set off a flash. "Did you guys get my good side?",Zac asked dramatically. "Where's that?",Taylor asked. Matti walked into the room as he played his Game-Boy pocket that happened to be a freezing blue color. Zac jumped from his seat and said, "Oh my gosh they made the kewl blue Game-boy pocket!! Dude!" "I imagine blue is his favorite color huh?",Lia, "You know blue is a color of the weak." "And Lia is a name for the stupid!",Zac retorted. "Matti could you go call everyone who is not here to come in or downstairs we are a having a family.. no wait a double family meeting. "ISSSAAAAACC and DDDDAAAANNNNIIIEELLL YOUR MOMS WANT YOU BOTH!!",Matti screamed up the stairs than ran outside and got everyone else. "What did I do now?",Daniel asked as he slowly wake down the stairs around the room and into the kitchen. "Nothing, we just wanted to discuss the plans for today.",Penny said. "Well kids we were thinking that since it's now..a little past 3.. if in a few hours you wouldn't mind staying here or having Isaac taking you somwhere while we go out to eat and the movies.. just for old times?", Diana asked. The kids said and "ok" in unison and everyone wen their seperate ways. Isaac walked over to Cloe as she was stepping on the deck and said, "So how about a date tonight, you , me, a car, and food sound good?",Ike asked her. "Yea that sounds great.. I hope you know where I live..",Cloe answered. "I think I can find it A-ok..",Ike said as the stepped outside. "Speaking of dates..",Daniel interuppted them,"I have a hot one with that girl from the hotel, she works there and I said I'd pick her up when work is over so can we make that a double date?" Ike and Cloe rolled their eyes and nodded. "Thanks guys.",Daniel said as he said "YESS".
***"So guys what is the plan for this evening?",Zac asked the group, of Lia,Krissa,Taylor and Matti. "It's called BABY-SITTING..",Taylor answered. "Well besides that.. I was thinking.. HIDE AND GO SEEK!",Zac told him excitingly. "What a childish game..from a child.",Lia said,"How about a movie, like THE CRAFT about the paranormal ..witches and stuff." "I like hide and go seek, darkness is kewl.",Krissa said. 'Maybe I could scurry off and be by myself if we play that.',she thought to herself. "Yea alot of stuff happens in the dark.",Taylor added. "Oooo big brother is making "suggestive remarks" kissy kissy..",Zac remarked as he started to make kissy kissy sounds. "Matti you gonna play right?",Krissa asked not wanting to leave her bro out. "Naaa I think I will stick to N 64.",he replied walking away with game-boy pocket in hand, mesmorized by the screen. "Oh well, then it's set..",Zac said as he laughed a devious sinister laugh.
"I don't like the sound of that.",Krissa said as she rolled her eyes. "I don't like the sound of anything he says.",Lia added. "Geez it was just said to add a scary effect.",Zac said. "Your face is scary enough.",Lia remarked as she got up and walked away. Zac imitaded Lia and jumped from his seat and walked into the family room and sat in front of the tv. So Krissa and Taylor were at the table alone.
"I'm hoping we'll have fun tonight, as cheesy as it sounds.",Taylor said trying to make conversation. "Yea it's total Velveta but oh well..dark is good.",Krissa replied as she got up and walked up the stairs to the playroom. 'Man that girl is always giving me the cold shoulder, what is her deal? I am really curious..she seems melancholy.',Taylor thought as he sighed.
