Chapter 10
"So here's Tulsa. Isn't it beautiful Krissa?",Kyle asked his daughter as
he parked the minivan in the parking lot in front of the Day's Inn.
Krissa woke up from her nap to her dad's voice saying her name. "Um, yea,
it's great dad.",Krissa responded as she stretched. The van doors opened
and everyone got out and streched. The whole family and Lia had been in
the mini-van for 12 hours. Krissa looked around and thought, 'Not a Hanson
in sight, thank God!' Krissa's thought were cut short by Gwen's voice
yelling, "Mommy,mommy, I have to go to the bathroom." "Well I'd think so
considering you gulped down 4 orange sodas Gwen.",Cloe said as the group
walked quickly into the lobby of the hotel. Penny rushed Gwen to the
restroom as Kyle checked in. Matti,Cloe, and Daniel wandered throughout
the lobby as Kriss and Lia leaned against the wall. Krissa was in a deep
though about what she'd do if she came across Hanson, it was a toss-up
between running and pinching Zac's cheeks. "Hey Kris, you've been acting
weird since you picked me up, what's up man??",Lia said as she popped a
piece of her favorite bubblegum into her mouth. "Well we, or at least I,
have a certain problem. This is the hometown of...",Krissa was explaining
until she was cut off by Kyle. "Time to go to our rooms girls. Hut two
three four...",Kyle said as he motioned the girls to move. Kyle and Penny
explained all the great times they had in Tulsda as everyone else followed
them up to the room.
It took awhile to unpack and get settled but afterwards
everyone was sprawled out on theirs beds. Daniel, Matti,Kyle,and Diane
in one room and Lia,Krissa,Cloe,and Gwen in another. As they napped
Krissa lay awake thinking of Hanson as "Speechless" played on the radio.
"We have now arrived at Tulsa International Airport. All wishing
to depart please gather your things now.",blarred the woman's voice over
the loudspeaker of the airplane. "Zac wake up,Zac we're home.",Isaac
said to Zac,who was asleep. Isaac shook Zac and Zac woke up dazingly
saying, "I am Batman,I am Robin,I am Batman, I am Robin..Ike,Home?" "Yes
Robin you're home. Remember mom and dad have that reunion thing this
weekend and we have vacation this week??",Isaac said to his younger
brother as he gathered his stuff in the overhead conpartment, "Now come
fly with me Robin to the overhead conpartment!" Zac got up slowly patted
his big brother on the back and said, "Sorry big bro, I'm Batman.", then
Zac quickly gathered his things.
Hanson had just taken a plane back to Tulsa,OK from
New York. Their trip was cut short because of their parent's plans but
they were glad to be home again. As they walked off the plane Zac and
Isaac argued over who was Batman. Finally Taylor interrupted and said,
"Okay, I know, Ike's Batman,I'm Robin, and Zac's Batgirl!" "Right on
my brother!",Isaac said as him and Taylor high fived. Zac instantly
turned around and said, "Taylor, you're more of a Batgirl type, I mean,
your hair is long enough." "Zac,you dork,your hair is as long as mine.",
Taylor said as he kept on walking. "Oh, yea, well then, Batgirl it is!
Alicia move over here comes....ZAC!!!! He he he,oh no, my hair,Robin
can I borrow a hairbrush..u know Batman that cape really clashes..you
should wear more blue and less black..he he he..",Zac said in a girly
voice as he tried to act like a girl. Taylor and Isaac were cracking-up
duting the whole walk down the terminal until they saw...fans. Girls
swarmed the three boys faster than anything, luckily their bodyguard was
close enough to block them as Walker and Hanson's manager came while
girls mobbed the boys. "Geez, we left New York for this?",Taylor said as
he was grabbed by girls' hands. "Nothing like some good old fans to wake
a guy up.",Zac said as the threee boys made their way to the parked limo.
Zac,Taylor,and Isaac jumped into the limo as their manager,father,and
bodyguard got their luggage.
"Hey, Tay do you think mom made us those world famous brownies
for us because I'm starving and Batgirl needs her strength!",Zac asked
Taylor. "'I sure hope so. Man won't these girls ever stop?",Taylor
questioned as he gazed out the windows at girls screaming, "I LOVE YOU
TAYLOR!" and "ISAAC WILL YOU MARRY ME?". "Tay they're our fans, what do
you expect?",Isaac said as he too looked out the window.
All of the sudden a screaming fan put her face up to Zac's
window and screamed, "I LOVE YOU ZAC!" Zac jumped about 3 feet in the air
and bumped his head on the ceiling, surprised by the girl. "Man,ouch,geez,
,Zac let out, "Man, that girl scared me to death, I swear I almost wet
my pants..and now my head hurts." "Oh you mean the Barney ones Zac?",
Taylor asked playfully. "Yep, your Barney ones. Man, I would've told you
sooner but since we share everything I didn't think you'd mind.",Zac
said dramatically. "Well, I'm sorry Zac but you can never borrow them
again..we can buy you your own..okay?",Taylor said even more dramatically.
"No,Tay he can just borrow some of *Mackie's diapers..I mean since he's
afraid of wetting his pants the diaper would work out perfectly.",Isaac
cut in. "Thanks guys! You must really love me to help me get the help I
need!",Zac said as he hugged Isaac and Taylor. "No, the help you need is
at the Mental Hospital Zac.",Isaac said as he and Taylor laughed.
Walker, Hanson's manager, and bodyguard finally returned with the
luggage. After putting the luggage into the trunk they finally drove off
as Zac yelled, "To the Batcave!" Before leaving the airport parking lot
a fan jumped out in front of the limo and caused it to make a sahrp turn.
This made Isaac and Taylor slide into Zac and squish him. "Air, need air!"
,Zac yelped. Taylor and Isaac scooted back in place. "Geez now my hair is
a wreck.",Isaac said as he attempted to fix it. "Tay, head band please.",Zac
asked Tay like he was a surgeon asking for a specific tool. "Man Zac,I'm all
out but I have a rather pretty bow, and it's match your outfit perfectly Ike!"
,Taylor said jokingly. "Tay, I thought I could count on you!",Zac said as he
pretend cried. "It's okay Zac...I think they do serve lime jello at the
mental hospital.",Isaac said as he patted Zac on the back. Zac shook up a can
of coke from the cooler as he wept fakingly. Then he turned around and handed
the can to Taylor and said, "Here Tay, to show, I LOVE YOU MAN!" "Um, thanks
Zac but I'm really not thirsty..Ike you thirsty?",Taylor asked knowing Zac
did something to the can. "well, yea I am Tay, thanks.",Isaac said as he
took the can from Taylor. Isaac made himself look like he opened the can a
crack an dthen pretend to sip it because he too knew Zac was up to his little
tricks again. "MMmmm...this stuff really quenches your thirst.",Isaac said
playing along. "Hey, wait, it was suppose to...let me see that can.",Zac
said with a puzzled look on his face. Zac took the can from Isaac and opened
it all the way, the can immediately exploded all over Zac's lap and him.
Taylor and Isaac cracked up as all that Zac could say was, "I think Batgirl
needs a costume change." The limo pulled into the driveway of the Hanson
house and the three brothers got out of the car. They(or at least Taylor
and Isaac) were greeted by hugs from *Avie,*Jessie,*Mackie, and their mom
Diane. Boy were they glad to be home.
