"System thirteen" is a revolutionary
new system created to make tournament style
battles faster and more efficient then ever.
when people think about the possibility of an
chat roleplay tournament they pretty
much laughed and said that "we're crazy"..but
with this system the idea of timed battles
seems not so far-fetched after all. I'm glad
that I can give something back to the
roleplayers and I thank you for taking the
time to read this.
Winning matches: basically this is a
one-on-one, one round battle. when either
fighter's hp (hit points) reach 0 he/she
loses and that fighter wins the match.
Victory can also be obtained when time is
called and the fighter has the most hp
remaining.
If a draw is called then the fight goes into
sudden death and if that round ends in a draw
then the fighters will both be moved up a
level.
Level ups are rewards recieved when a
fighter successfully wins a match. after
winning the match their opponent's remaining
hp is added along with the victor's hp and
added to the original score.
example: fighter a and fighter b fought in a
match until time was called and fighter a had
a damage reading of 3-4-4-4 resulting in
15hp, and fighter b had a damage rating of
5-4-4 resulting in 13hp. fighter b wins the
match, but also takes the remaining hp of
fighter a added in with his remaining score
which gives fighter b a total of 48hp.
(note: if the oponnent loses all his hp in
battle the winner will recieve 10hp added in
with his remaining hp )
Time: Fights will be held for a
period of fifteen minutes per match. at first
the fights were going to be held at least 30
, but by the end of fifteen minutes the hp
would of already dwindled down to 0.
another reason why the time was changed was
because I wanted to fit at least four fights
in the period of an hour..this way things
will be more time efficient.
blocking is permitted but we do ask
that you use it sparringly. if a fighter uses
blocking too many times it will be counted as
a damage point to the arms.
"God moding" is not permitted. to keep
this from happening I've added the handicap
battle scenarios to be included in the
tournament. Special matches will restrict the
use of magic and weapons so that people will
have to rely on their fists and their minds
to win. this also makes things challanging as
well.
intruding into someone elses battle to
help your friend will result in
disqualification of the that person from the
tournament..this is a fair one-on-one battle.
mind your buisness.
With all that in mind we want you to have fun
and be able to kick some ass!! good luck
fighter.
