Pogo and Cosmo
These are my Chinchillas,
Pogo and
Cosmo. They're brothers (or so I was told when I bought them, and they are currently a little over a year old(I bought them at 4-5 months, supposedly.) Pogo is the active one, in other words he bounces off the wall, literally. Cosmo is very laid back, but is a real sweety! They're both very intelligent, and have learned how to "ask" for treats by extending their paws towards the treat in my hand and then bringing their paws up to their mouths, in an eating motion. I believe they know their names as well, because whenever I call the they run in the opposite direction, during play time, when they're out and about on the floor. Chinchillas hate being held so whenever they're bad they get "huggies," from "Mommy" (me), "Grandma" (my mom) and "Auntie Kim" (my best friend). Their "Daddy" (my boyfriend) is a little squeamish around them, but he thinks they're cute and is slowly getting used to them. Special thanks to Luci for donating the cage!

Pogo leaps out of his cage and on to the floor to run and get into trouble.

No! Not the Cage! Lemme out! Actually, once they're tired out from play time, the chinies like to hop back into their safe haven home for a rest.
