Disappear
Among the clouds
of the dark hollow night
You slipped into their shadows
and you lost your sight
Your desolate body
now falling to defeat
Will soon be consumed
with the enemy's grief
I reach for the veil
to uncover your eyes
But you block my hand w/anger
so I just stand by you side
You've lost that fire
that once filled your soul
You now clutch the enemy's hand
it's so hard to let go
The cords of death
entangle you with fear
Turn back to Jehova
and the cords will disappear
Plea
Dealing with my mind
Flipping thru my hurt
Wondering how I've gone so far
The mountain is too far to see
I'm caught in the lowest of valleys
Deserted in the sea of sorrow
My echos of prayers lost in the air
Knees stuck to the gound
while face buried in the sand
Head, bowed in shame
With tears frozen by bitterness
Light coming from the sky
But darkness covers it slowly
Forgetting all o nce learned
Begging for my lifes plea
To Feel
I've been told you hear my cries
But I have heard no replies
Why can't You just let me feel
I can't even see if You are real
My world is crumbling around me
All I've ever wanted is to feel free
Like a puppet, whose strings are cut
My body is numb, stuck in this rut
My eyes are now dry, emptied by pain
I no longer see blue skies, but bitter cold rain
No longer can I lift my hands to Your name
What is love? What is hate? They seem the same
I know I can't make it on my own
But, in my life, You are no longer known
