My puppies
This is my puppy Buffy. She was born on August 31, 1999. We got her November 22, 1999. She's dumber than a post, but those puppy dog eyes always make me melt! This is the dog that hates the bathtub and hates the swimming pool, yet given the chance will jump in every muddy puddle in the backyard. When I was in the hospital, I told my mom I wanted the dog to be the family member that stayed overnight with me. My mom said she would probably end up on some operating table for brain surgery and I told her that they'd open the dog up and find a peanut in place of a brain, thus christening the nickname "Peanut". Currently looking for more pictures to add of her, because I know I have some. I'll get back to you.
This is my other puppy Smokey. He's a German Short-Haired Pointer. We rescued him a few years ago when he was about two. He thinks he's a big lap dog, and when Dad isn't looking, he is :) One day, we hope to teach him how to actually be a hunting dog!
This little rascal is Raider. We had him for a few weeks before we lost him to a condition called megaesophagus. He was a daschund/border collie but he was so tiny! When we got him he weighed 3.2 pounds, and by the end he had contracted pneumonia and weighed 2.8 pounds. We only had him for a short time, but he was so full of love and happiness that it feels like more than just three weeks that he was with us. Rest in peace sweet boy.
