Honors Seminar I

Prerequisites: Admission to the BCC Honors Program or Acceptance to Phi Theta
Kappa.
An Honors Seminar designed to allow students to explore issues important to
self-discovery and academic growth and development. Seminar will bring together
students, faculty, administration, staff, and guest lecturers to enrich the
Honors experience. Topics are chosen to help students develop good listening,
reasoning, and articulation skills. The course is open to students enrolled
in the Honors Program or members of Phi Theta Kappa. This course is taught
by Cathy Beam who is not only one of our special PTK advisors, but is a great
teacher too. The topic of this year's Honors Seminar follows PTK's Honors
Study Topic, "Dimensions
and Directions: Choices in the Maze."
