It has been said that as we get older the years get shorter and the days get longer!
Life can often feel like a race that we are running and can't quite keep up.
I remember glimpses of light
reflecting on my walls
early morning sun
shining down in my soul
surrounding me in peace.
I remember a life of blessings
how to gain a friend;
stand up tall when I fall,
remain free to be me despite incertainties.
I am finding strength in my deep inner hidden roots
there are still little moments of peace within
which still surge to greet the morning light.
I remember summer`s wonderful warmth
in streams of light and little breezes
caressing my soul, erasing pain, wiping tears
as I watched waves ripple along the shore.
bringing to me sweet peace and rest to my life again.
I remember magical moments in history
of a childhood long gone
With it, brings the reality that good conserved
and a new story each unfolds within me
to tell of the wonderful reasons we can sing.
I remember saying this will be a new beginning
of my greater possibilities and each day
one step alone at a time,
one in front of the other
we can move the mountains to create
a life where we know how to overcome
and by keeping focus in the present day.
I remember a phrase which said
do not put the cart before the donkey
put everything in it`s proper perspective
to see a better end result to a planned goal.
God does crown us with success
even in the most difficult times
when we realize He wants us
HAPPY even in the rain,
the parade can still go on.
there is always a reason to smile
when we sit still and reflect
upon all He has done for us.
And wait patiently the result,
love despite the load we carry,
in forgiving, use our mind
to react creatively through a world
which is corrupt and tends to forget
God sees and knows all
He reacts and acts
(FOR) the true followers of Him.
I remember....
