Clonmachnoise is the earliest monastic community founded by St. Keirnan in about 600 A.D., in central Ireland. Here you see the celtic high cross, which is found throughout Ireland, Wales and Scotland. The painting was done from the chruch of St. Keirnan sitting on it's ruins. MM Prints available.
