The vampire lay on the floor in a patch of moonlight the rest of the room with smothered in darkness, the only sound in the house was light breathing coming from an area of darkness not far away from the sleeping vampire.

Silently Willow watched the sleeping vampire and thought.

Buffy walked down one of the side roads in Sunnydale she didn’t take her eyes off the floor and continually hugged herself. “Why did I do it now, god what was I thinking” She didn’t see the vampire, she never did nor did she need to it exploded into a pile of air born dust before it could touch her. ‘Buffy’ Said a calm sympathetic voice, when she didn’t replay Giles gently touched her arm.

Buffy looked up to see Giles sympathetic face, he led her to his care and sat her in the back. Only when he got in himself did he say anything ‘Buffy I’m going to take you home then me can talk about whatever has happened okay.’ Buffy looked up and stared at his eyes in the mirror she gulped and nodded.
Giles saw the single tear run down her cheek and started the ignition.
