* Work Experience
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
National Center for Remanufacturing and Resource Recovery, Rochester,NY
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
manufacturing engineer Fall2001-Spring 2002
Intelligent testing and diagnostic team,
Real-time simulation of current and voltage behavior of industrial
power-supplies for remanufacturing feasibility study and useful life
estimation, Test fixturing and execution of inverter-multiplexure
circuit using Lab-view VI connecting 10 Power-supply units (PSU).
Micro-Computer and peripherals (e.g.CD-R,DVD Floppy drive etc.) were
simulated in the form of resistor loads for monitoring of current and
voltage behavior in computer at high and nominal loads. Switching of
power supplies and acquisition of data was done using state of the art
data acquisition system.

Research Assistant Fall 2000-present
Statistical and Mathematical optimization methods reviewed to optimize
Die-sink EDM surfaces. Response surface methodology and Direction of
steepest descent method used to design experiments and observe the
trends in surface roughness descriptors. Best surface finish possible
obtained by executing 250 experiments. Hole enlargement analysis and
white layer thickness measurement of electro-discharge machined-surfaces.
