You do manage to raise an army, but it is insufficient to assure victory. In the battle which follows soon after your arrival, king Henry's army surrounds yours and you die fighting valiantly to the end. (Captivity is not even a possibility: your battle rage is just too potent - a carry-over of the berserker rage of your Viking ancestors: history remembers you as, William the (unlucky) Bastard.)
