In the Garden of my Heart
The flowers grow in beauty
In the garden of my heart
A planting of forever,
That time can’t tear apart.
The garden grows with kindness
That is shown to me each day
By all the flowers growing
As I pass along life’s way.
The seeds are understanding
And the blooms are love and care
Of the friends there in my garden
And the beauty that they share.
Blooms with out a loving hand
Soon wither and they die,
But when the love is added
The stalks reach to the sky.
As I look upon my garden
Tended with the utmost care
I see my heart is blooming
With the friends all growing there.
I’ll always tend my garden
So the flowers never fade
And we’ll grow along together
In this garden that I’ve made.
For when we grow together
There’s a brand new day to start
A lovely bouquet blooming
