This station was build in 1910 and is the oldest operational firehouse in the City of Winnipeg. Located
at Sargent and Burnell in the West End, it has 2 floors and 7 apparatus
doors. The units include Engine 5, Rescue 5, Medic 5 and Salvation Army Truck 707. It is one of the most beautiful stations in the city.
The personnel still use the pole. It gets an average of 5,000 calls
a year. The hose tower is located on the right side of the apparatus doors
and is used to dry hose lines after a fire. Alot of Thanxs goes out to John and Shift 4 at this station for a very intersting and fun tour. Let's do it again some time!!
