No.12
This station was opened in 1974 to replace the
old No.12 Station just a few miles away. It consists of 2 bays, 1 captain's
room, 1 kitchen, and some recreational space. The apparatus stored here
are: Engine 12 and Medic 12. I have spent a lot of time at this station
and it is an awesome one. It gets an average of 2300 calls a year. It is
located at 1710 Grosvenor Street. The old station was located at 1055 Dorchester
Avenue, which is residential building now. This station is being planned
to be closed and moved to Grant and Kenaston, to make it easier for our 27 Station to be build at Stafford & Academy. We don't know when, or if that will happen though.
