We lost our precious Pepper-cat,
unexpectedly, on July 4th, 2000, after a check up found a
large tumour under his tongue. He had lost a significant
amount of weight, was dehydrated and not eating or
drinking, for several days. Owing primarily to his
disposition and the type of malady, and partially to his
age, the decison was made to let him go to the Rainbow
Bridge so our proud, stubborn little man would not suffer
physically or emotionally, through testing, vet visits or
treatments. He arrived as unexpectedly 15 years ago to
the week, when we opened the door one late June evening
and in ran a little scruffy kitten. We only think we
decided to keep him, the truth was he wouldn't have left
even if we didn't. Pepper was a hardheaded puss who did
what he wanted when he wanted, loving his chosen humans
unconditionally. He leaves to cherish his memory his Grandpaw and Grandma with whom he lived for the past ten years, his housemate Tegan, and his next door neighbours John, Merlin, Toonsis, Munchkin and his Mommy who loves and misses him so very much. Sleep softly, precious Pepper-tat.You were a very good, very special, boy. 15 years has gone by in the mere blink of an eye, you were supposed to stay alot longer my love, but we are thankful for the 15 years we had together. Thank you for choosing us - Mommy Thank you to friends in the Feline Chronic Renal Failure and Friends of Avatar Support Groups, and friends and family, for your kind words on the loss of Pepper. |
