While Gohan was training with Piccalo, Goku was busy on Snake Way trying to make it to King Kai. King Kai was a machial arts expert and was going to train Goku for his big fight with the Sayin-jins. While everyone was training Kami-sama called five of Earth's best warriors. They were Crillin, Yamcha, Tenshinhan, Chao-zu, and the fat and lazy Yachirodi. They were also to train for the fight. Gohan slowly got stronger and learnes to use his power.

Goku is still running on snake way but suddenly falls off. He ends up in hell and is told there is no way out. He meets two ogres that guard a special tree. The fruit on the tree is so rich you don't have to eat for three months if you eat a piece. The two ogres say they will tell him how to get out if he beats them to some games. After a while he beats them and they show him the way. But it takes him back to the beginning of Snake Way but he gets the last laugh after all. He took a piece of the fruit and eats it. Goku has to make it to King Kai even faster now because the fruit made him not hungy for three monthes.

Gohan and the Earth's special forces are training really hard to increase their power along with Piccolo. Piccolo trains with his meditating moves while the special forces train with one another. Gohan transforms two times and piccolo has to defeat him.

After a long time and some incounters with evil, Goku finally makes it to King Kai. He trains under him and learnes new moves. He learns the Spirit bomb and Koyoken attack. Goku becomes really strong and is ready for the others to wish him back with the Dragonballs. They do it but he has to go back the way he came and that takes a while.

Vegeta and Napa finally arrived on Earth and took out a city with one shot. The special forces along with Gohan and Piccolo arrive and battle the two sayins. Yamcha, Tenshinhan, and Chao-zu die early in the fight and leave it up to Piccolo, Kuririn, and Gohan. Piccolo gives his life to save Gohan and the other two fight for their lives. Kuririn get paralized so Gohan has to fight all alone. Suddenly Goku arrives and gives Gohan and Kuririn a special bean that revives them.

Goku fights Napa and beats him then Vegeta destroys him because he was weak. Now Goku has to fight Vegeta. It was a long fight and Goku seemed to be winning because he shot him with a spirit bomb and that knocks Vegeta up in the air. But then Vegeta falls back down and transforms into the ape like creature. He makes waste with Goku and goes after the others. His tail was the sorce of his power so they tried to cut it off. Finally Yashirodi chopes it off with his sword and runs away. Then Gohan transforms and beets up Vegeta. Vegeta cuts his tail off but Gohan falls right on him. Vegeta gets on his spaceship and leaves the planet. Goku goes to the hospital and has to stay there while Bulma and the others wanted to wish the people that died back but the Dragonballs were destroyed when Piccolo died. Gohan, Kuririn, and Gohan have to go to a new planet called Namik(Piccolo and Kami are from there). Namik people make Drgonballs so they set out. All the fighters that died went to King Kai's to train and Goku stayed in the hospital to rest.
