INTRODUCING: THE
SONY DVPS53OD
Visitors of this site and other fellow critics
I welcome you and introduce you to my favorite piece of electronic gizmo
around the house. If you don't know already, its my DVD player and
I am glad to own one. My shitty minimum wage job provided for this.
After 2 hard, long months at working at a local donut shop I finally managed
to afford this high-tech piece of junk. My duties included serving
ungrateful customers their coffee (which I spat in time to time) and cleaning
the gunk out of the bottom of dirty dishwashers. But nonetheless,
I managed to over come all odds, and bought the most beautiful piece of
equipment available for any film critic out there. Read on to find
out more. . .
Although I don't have a Dolby Digital receiver
yet and all that five speaker crap, I still do have an amplifier.
My player came with a Dolby Digital Processor which I think is a good thing.
I still feel my 32 inch tv is still adequate for its performance (I'm not
paying $3000 for a 70 inch tv! I'm only human). But man! It is soo
clear n my screen. You won't believe it. And even better, no more
tape getting stuck in the old VCR as well as no more rewinding! Don't
worry folks, I will get a surround set, right after I pay off my dad. .
.for the uhhh-hum. . .large debt I owe him for the player. See me
and my and dad had a deal. I pay half for it right now, then
pay the rest later off my donut shop checks. Okay so I lied a bit
in the beginning, but what do you expect?
I'll tell you all you faithful visitors about
my surround set when I get it. Right now I'm bankrupt, so don't expect
much. I'm planning to get all my favorite films off my bio page and
more. Can life get any better?
