Starring: Jerry O'Connell, Tara Reid, Amanda Peet, Sean Patrick Flannery

Rated: R for explicit sex TALK, 3 sex scenes, brutal fist-fight scene, tons of drinks

Plot: A lot can happen in one night. Body shots follows 8 20-somethings (4 male, 4 female) who each pair off and do some weird shit with the other. The next day they all discuss what they did, and it makes you realize, drinking, although VERY fun, could be very harmful, and fuck up one's life FOREVER in a matter of 5 minutes. (note: I totally endorse drinking, but after watching this flick I do get kind of concerned and I never want to black out, especially around a girl, oh dear)

My Take: I had wanted to see this flick a while back when it came out in theaters, but since noone knew what the hell it was and who was in it, I forgot about it. Then a few weeks ago I noticed at my local video store that it was due out on video soon, yippee! Now what got me interested in this movie was not just the fact that Tara Reid (blond chick from American Pie) shows her puppies, but it created quite a stir among movie critics, and it did sound controversial. As you might know, I'm a sucker for controversial films. So long and behold, I finally picked up this flick after school Tuesday, and what can I say...?

We've got plenty of chicks in this film, no doubt, and 2 of them show us their chests, yeah! But that's not all, there is a shitload of sex talk in here, and when I say shitload, I mean this isn't dirty playground talk, I mean this is some 'cum-splattered cherry-bustin' talk. I tried to enjoy this film, I really did, but I just got bored at several times, EVEN with the crazy sex talk which usually keeps me tuned. I think this is the perfect example of a borderline movie which should only be rented, and I guess I am glad to say I didn't catch this in the theatre.

I guess the films message is to show us that we should be careful when drinking? I don't know, but it seems like going out, getting smashed and fucking some random person is what these 8 folks love to do! Some might see it as 'being the life' but when the end of this film came, I was stunned. I'm scared to get drunk and be next to a girl now. I'll let you check out the film to understand what I mean by that.

The performance are somewhat believable, like I said, it's borderline, 4 of the actors stood out (Reid, O'Connell, Ron Livingston, Flannery) while the other 4 didn't. The best performance coming from Livingston who brings comedy to everything he says. O'Connell plays the Football player who just got signed to a 5 million dollar contract and is accused of raping Sarah (Reid). Flannery seems to be the cool-headed lawyer who is looking for love, and not a 'fuck-n-chuck' girl. The rest of the cast is virtually no-names except for Jill (Amanda Peet - recently in the Whole 9 Yards).

This film has it all for everyone, it's main feature is certainly sex, no doubt about it, but there's a brutal fight scene reminiscent of Fight Club, plenty of drinking to make the people at AA want to slam down a shot of vodka, and enough sex-talk to please any perv's, Hell, there is even a rape scene which is graphic, so make sure your parents don't know you rented it kids!
