He called her from work the next morning to let her know that he had to go out of town for a few days but was hoping to get together with her on the weekend. She was looking forward to that.

She was going to surprise him and cook dinner. He had told her his favourite foods, so she spent hours at the grocery store, shopping for just the right items...a thick T-bone steak, salad fixin's, blue cheese dressing, croutons, and the perfect dessert, Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream. She also picked up some of her favourite fruit...cherries, and giggled as she ate one and remembered.

Since it was going to be a very special night, she bought a bottle of Scotch, for him, which he said he liked. She shuddered as she thought of its bitter taste, then grabbed two Wildberry Coolers for herself...her favourite drink.

On the way to his house, she planned the events of the evening, and grinned to herself. He had no idea what he was in for...he wasn't leaving 'til the morning and maybe not even then. She had warned him, about his teasing. She'd been waiting...and, it was pay back time.

As she walked up the sidewalk, the fragrance of his roses invaded her senses. She inhaled deeply...what a wonderful aroma!!

She unlocked the door with the key he gave her, and went inside. She brought the groceries and her little overnight bag. He wasn't home yet, but she imagined he soon would be.

She put a couple of CDs in the player, and turned the music up. The Eagles had always been one of her favorite groups, and as the music of Hotel California filled the air, she danced around the room. She loved those oldies...Beach Boys, Tommy James and the Shondells. She also brought a Barbara Streisand one, with a wonderful love song, The Way We Were. She got all dreamy-eyed when she heard that one.

She took her bag to the bedroom, then went to the kitchen, and piled the cherries in a bowl on table, and put the rest of groceries away.

She saw the pool as she looked out the kitchen window. A swim would feel great, before he got home. The water looked so inviting as she went onto the deck.

She slipped her light summer dress down over her shoulders, and realized that someone could be watching her. She glanced around, and found herself to be completely alone...the fence was high enough to block out any onlookers. The dress fell. She silently applauded herself for all of those times in the tanning beds, and the small amount of time in the sun. She slid her panties down over her hips, to her feet, and stepped out of them. She turned her head to check the tan on her backside, and grinned...no tan lines...the little tattoo on her right hip stood out against the darkness of her skin. Her fingertips lightly traced it, giving her a ticklish sensation.

She sat down by the pool, and dipped her toes into the water, swishing them back and forth. The water felt smooth as she slid in, it's coolness swirling around her. She reclined back against the side for a minute. An air mattress floated close enough for her to grab. She lifted herself onto it and laid on it on her tummy, her head to one side. She relaxed as the warm sun beat down on her body, releasing the tension from the long week.

As the music stopped playing, she drifted off.

The day was nearly over, but he left work early, and raced through the traffic, not wanting to get caught in the rush hour. He pulled into the driveway, and shut the motor off, just sitting there, his head back, his hands on the steering wheel. He was finally home and the weekend was upon him. He sat for a couple of minutes, then got out of the car, and went into the house. He dropped his briefcase on the foyer table on the way to the kitchen.

He couldn't wait for the day to end...so much work, the business trip, and all of the pressures. All he could think of was a cool dip in the pool, tending the yard and roses...nothing but some R and R for the weekend.

A cold beer would hit the spot he thought, as he opened the fridge door. He saw the steaks and salad fixings, and the liquor. He had a quizzical expression on his face, and looked around, going to the window to check out back.

His mouth dropped open, his eyes widening...lordy, that is some sight; naked and brown as a berry. Her hair was spread out across her back, and reached down to the top of those perfectly forms cheeks...a sleeping beauty if he ever saw one.

He forgot the beer, stripped his clothing off and went out onto the deck. His feet burned from the heat of the cement, and he swiftly, but quietly, slipped into the pool.

He made his way over to her, observing a white spot on the left cheek of her butt. Curious, he wanted to see it. The waves gently splashed against the mattress, causing her to rock a bit. He heard a sigh as he moved within a foot of her to have a closer look. It was a tattoo of a white rose, green leaves and all, and very impressive...tiny and dainty.

His eyes traveled up and down her naked body, taking in every curve...watching it rise and fall with each breath. He had to touch that tattoo, and as he did, she moved, turning her head to face him. His fingers softly traced the rose, and he leaned over to kiss it, not stopping there. She twitched slightly as his wet lips moved to the arch in her back, leaving whispers of kisses. She smelled and tasted of vanilla. As he moved up higher, his hand caressed her skin...she opened her eyes, raising her head, gazing at him.

With his hand on her back, his lips moved closer to hers. His body reacted...the smell of vanilla intoxicating his consciousness. She shifted, knowing that he was going to kiss her. Their lips touched, each feeling the searing heat of the others...their mouths hungry, wanting.
