This is one of Jebediah's crowd pleasing songs which hasn't been
released. I figured out the tab from when they played on recovory a while back.
You'll have to figure out the strumming by yourself. I also haven't figured out
all the little fills that Chris does during the verses.

The lead in this is pretty rough, because the effects pedal used makes
it hard to figure out how many notes are actually played, but this will
definetly give you an idea on how to play them.

Note: After watching this played live I have discovered it is actually wrong. The intro is infact played by Kevin, not as a lead and a rythmn as stated below. Instead of playing the E5 chord (0 7 9 9 0 0) play this (0 0 11 13 0 0) and use your little finger (mostly on the 14th fret of the g-string) to play the little "riff" thing. - Craig

This song is the 3rd song on Jebediah's single "Jerks Of
Attention". It is pretty mellow and an awesome song. I couldn't work out the
order of all the parts as there are so many and some are playing at the same
time as others. You will just have to listen to the CD to find out
the order of parts. Sorry.

This is a really easy song from the new single and didn't
take long to work out. If you haven't got any Jebediah

Harpoon (Something For Kate Cover)

The kewl cover version by Something For Kate... off
the Harpoon EP of course. Basically the chords are
the same as the original, but are played differently
and there are some different little lead riffs.

INTRO:

 |-7-7-7-7---------/10-10-10-10-9-9-9-9--|
 |---------7-7-7-7-----------------------|
 |---------------------------------------|
 |---------------------------------------|
 |---------------------------------------|
 |---------------------------------------|

play that 3 times, then end on

 |-7-7-7-0---|
 |---------7-|
 |-----------|
 |-----------|
 |-----------|
 |-----------|

VERSE:

 |---------------------------------|
 |---------------------------------|
 |-4-4-4-4---------1-1-1-1-2-2-2-2-|
 |-4-4-4-4-4-4-4-4-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-|
 |-2-2-2-2-4-4-4-4-2-2-2-2-0-0-0-0-|
 |---------2-2-2-2-0-0-0-0---------|

I think this is basically played with Matt
just hitting some of the notes in each
chord, but it's easy for me to just write
down the basic chords =).

CHORUS:

 |---------------------------------|
 |---------------------------------|
 |---------1-1-1-1-4-4-4-4-6-6-6-6-| x 3
 |-6-6-6-6-2-2-2-2-4-4-4-4-6-6-6-6-|

 |-4-4-4-4-0-0-0-0-----------------|
 |-----------------|      |-----|
 |-----------------|      |-4---|

 |-6-6-6-6-2-2-2-2-|      |-2---|
 |-4-4-4-4-0-0-0-0-|      |-----|

Play the intro riff again, then...

POST-CHORUS:

 |------------------------------------|
 |---------------/-7-7-7-7-7-7-\------|
 |-4-4-4-0-2--------------------------|
 |-4-4-4-0-2--------------------------|

 |-----------|
 |-----------|
 |-4-4-4-0-2-|
 |-4-4-4-0-2-|
 |-2-2-2-0-0-|
 |-----------|

There's a silence of about 5 seconds, then go
back into the verse riff, the chorus riff, the
intro riff, then just before the post-chorus
riff, play...

|-/-17-(17)-\--|

 |---------0-0-0-0-2-2-2-2-0-0-0-0--|
"Go right baaack, go right baaack..."

On the fourth time, hold the B5 chord.

POST-BRIDGE:

"Why does it hurt... cause if it matters
don't say it won't..." etc.

In the Jebediah version, Kevin and Chris play the
chord progression from the verse (B5 - F#5 - E5),
but with mondo distortion, but in this version, it
sounds like Matt's making a heap of scratching
sounds with the guitar, basically not playing any
chords.

Play the chorus riff again.

End the song with the verse riff, but with more
distortion.

Tabbed by Whitt (msabell@net-tech.com.au)

This is a great song, although I'd like to hear the original
by Flock of Seagulls. I've only figured out the basics here,
I'll work on the solos and the other unusual chords that are
in the song (in the intro mainly).

INTRO: (not sure yet)

CHORUS: F5 - G5 - F5 - G5

different. I have half worked out the bridge. For the first bit, the
chords are E (022100) and C (032010). The solo is in progress at the
moment so when I can be bothered working it out

This might not be right, its harder for sure but it accounts for all the funny
little slides and double notes in the beginning if you listen hard. (it means
that chris is using chords)

Simply, he's picking off these three chords:
|-------------------|
|--3/5----3/5----3--|
|--4------4------4--|
|--5------4------2--|

so as he changes each one, he makes that slidey sound. Go figure.
The three chords are also the basis of the lead during the verses, except for
the last chord which is in fact xx203x

Less Trusted Pain Remover

Tabbed by Trayton

After listening to the album version I was surprised at the change of the chorus being so slow. I like the faster chorus version better and I hope they keep playing it live that way.
STARTS WITH PRE CHORUS Kevin plays F, G, A in power chord VERSE E -------------------------------------------------------------------- A -3--------3------3------3------7-----7----7-----7---7----7----7- D ---5---5---5---5--5--5---5--5---9-------------------------------- G -----5-------5------5-------5------9----9----10---9----7----9---- B -------------------------------------------------------------------- E --------------------------------------------------------------------- It looks complicated but just go left to right. Also as the recording has changed for the chorus the verse might be aswel. PRE CHORUS (Woo hoo hoo hoo) CHORUS Kevin plays C then high E in power chord. After the second chorus Kevin plays a bit pretty much the same as the verse and chris plays a lead over PRE CHORUS CHORUS-Played two bars longer.

to play the lead, and then I figured it from there...so there !!

After watching Kevin play this song on the Powderfinger tour I
just had to play it! It's an oldy but a goody.

- It's the song that goes: "And I'm picking up the pieces, all the pieces
that I've found, yeah I'm picking up the pieces from the ground..."

INTRO\MAIN RIFF - Kevin plays lead for this song and Chris plays rythmn except
for the lead break.

This is the basic sound, you can hammer on at

gets slower.

I think this solo is mostly right, I've only really gone through
it once... there's a few parts I am not sure about, but generally
it's close enough.

Play the intro part under the solo, cept with distortion, and end
the song on an F5 (133xxx) chord.

Hehe, well, anyone who can correct this can email me at

They are a wicked band and will become very big. This song is pretty easy to

Supposed to Say

The following is the tab for Supposed To Say which will is a B-side on Animal. It is one of my favourite songs and is a bit faster then your usual Jebs song.

E , B , C , D for the verses

high E , D , C# , C for the chorus and plays the C note a further four times with a mute inbetween each time and move back to D for a note.

After the second chorus the verse is played three frets higher with no singing.

Anything else I haven’t put down is easy to work out on your own but I have

goes into a slight variation but playing the normal Intro Riff will still
sound fine.

The reason this song sounds so weird when played along with the
version on Twitch is because the Jebs tune up slightly (not a full or
half step!) so it sounds wrong. When they play it live however (eg.
Live at the Cornflakes on the Teflon single) they play it like this.

Twilight = Dusk

Chords by Craig Harman

This is very quick, but after listening to the song, I'm pretty sure
Kevin's bit is just 2 chords while Chris plays some very fancy
riffs.

Kevin Plays:    A5 G5

E-------------------
B-------------------
G-------------------
D---7------5--------
A---7------5-------
E---5------3--------

Throughout the entire song (except for the change which I haven't worked out yet).
Please send the very many additions needed to complete this song!

Arrangement

Play Part A then Part B
Repeat Part A then add Part C to end the riff

(By Travis Roebuck) Lead bit over Twilight=Dusk which plays for the first
time after the first chorus (and has anymore in the background)

 E|-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

 G|---11h12p11------9----------------------------------------------------------------------
 D|-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

 E|-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thats basically it. In the verse section, I was playing around with A and
G, and the lead sounded like it was single picking the full bar chord, you
know like the high E, B G and D strings (on the fifth fret)

This would have to be the best song on the Military Strongmen single,
and probably one of the best Jebediah songs of all time. I think I've
got this pretty accurate, there is just one chord that eludes me, and
that's the fourth chord of the verse. If someone knows the correct
chord, could they please tell me !! I've tried to show the timing
roughly for the lead. Sorry how I've formatted this, I had to save on
space otherwise it would be too long. If you don't like it...fix it
yourself later to make it easier to follow.

E|--0--0--5--0--0--5---------------5-3-3-1-0------------|

LEAD BREAK (same as verse literally but quieter)

E|--7--7--7--7--|
B|--9--8--9--8--|
G|--9--9--9--9--|   repeat x2
D|--9--7--9--7--|
A|--7--7--7--7--|
E|--0--0--0--0--|

repeat chorus and into...

the FUNNY LITTLE BIT AT END (also known as the coda)

 E|---------------------------7-----7-----------|-0------|
 B|----------9-----9------8-----8---------------|-0----9-|
 G|------7-----7------------9-----9---repeat x4-|-1----9-|
 D|----9---9-----9------7-----------------------|-2-OR-9-|
 A|--7----------------7-------------------------|-2----7-|
 E|---------------------------------------------|-0----0-|
Dabbling around with that little bit at the end its possible that the main
chord at the beginning (079997) could actually be 079797. ie:
 E|--7----7--|
 B|--9----9--|
 G|--7-OR-9--|
 D|--9----9--|
 A|--7----7--|
 E|--0----0--|
You can probably substitute all the 079997 chords with that whichever
 you prefer.
