Well I guess it's time I started one of these for any regular visitors I may have or for those who
wish to trace the progress of my humble webpage.
It all started....
One day when I discovered I was a big fan of Sailor Moon and I had somehow gathered a significant
collection of images, multimedia and useless information, I decided to share this collection with the world through the internet.
The very first version was a simple page full of animated gif and a few pictures without a lot of content. This version was entitled 'Fireswitch's Sailor Moon Scene'
I then progressed onto linking different pages, adding to my gallery and including wav files. The new improved site was the 'Senshi Haven'
Starting computing studies at school taught me a little on frames and from then on I went a little frames and javascript happy- in the version 'Senshi Scene'
But lucky for you all I got over the whole frames thing and decided for a classier, more graphics based look (apologies to those of you with slow internet access)
and I created some new layout as well as using some pre-made layouts from Eternal Moon
and the current site was born.
Over the years over 450,000 people have visited this site (according to my Sitemeter which I have had recording my weekly hits since 1997) which is pretty impressive for a Sailor Moon site
Recently I added a general anime splashpage for your perusal, I hope that it encourages others to look at more anime than Sailor Moon- in particular those newbies who have only ever seen the DiC dub of Sailor Moon.
Heres to hoping for another 450,000 visitors and that the "Tenshi no Senshi" or Senshi of Angels site keeps improving!
24/09/01 Completed some general site maitenence, fixing links etc. Added the following
- "Two in a Million" Fanfic written by yours truely (it's my very first attempt so please don't flame it too much)
- Fan Art sent in by visitors
- Section on how to win awards
Deleted the entries in my guestbook which contained profanites (this is a G-rated site suitible for all ages and I intend to keep it that way)
Fixed the menu bar on my gallery and webring pages
Next step...discover why the graphics on my scrollbar splashpage won't work. If anyone knows can the email me?
