disoriental
she makes me dizzy
she sucks me deeper still
into her vacant stare
her silent pose
a cloud unconscious
steam of dreams
i take a breath
of her pretense, an unsaid promise
that i’d find the circumstance
to draw her nearer
the sweet flavor of her sweat
rolls on my tongue
and if unconsciousness were love
i’d sleep forever
in her arms
undercover from the visions
of reality, the agony
of pain and dispossession
by my dreams
hostage my heart
inside my chest
and more nor less
it shall beat on long after death
in magnet eyes inside my head
a vacant stare
a silent pose
a perfect face
under her magnifying glaze
i never thought i’d bend this way
