These dolphins form groups of 3-7 and 1-25. Smaller groups of dolphins may
cluster to form bigger groups.
Behavior:
This type of dolphin is very hard to approach, and they will usually avoid
contact with boats. Bow-riding is unusual for this species. However, they can stay under the
surface for several minutes. While they are a slower swimming dolphin, they will occasionally
swim the Bottlenose Dolphin.
