transistor sound & lighting co.

Transistor Sound & Lighting Co. (most commonly just called Transistor) are a really great Canadian band from Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Members are becoming more stable all the time, so right now, members include: Jay (vocals/guitar/some bass/keyboards), Dino (bass/guitar/synthesizer) and then there are Marty who produces them and does sound and sometimes even drums (he's really considered part of the band), Marcia (keyboards/some bass), and the two alternating drummers: Mark and Alfie.

A BRIEF HISTORY OF THE BAND:
To be honest, I don't know the whole story, I kinda missed the beginning. But I can tell you that Jason and Dino knew each other for many years before finally getting together and jamming, but when they did, they realized this was a good thing. Jay and Dino had a very unstable amount of members up until now, but it's still a little iffy. The band used to be called "Transister" but another band from Ontario had the name so they changed it to "Transister sound and lighting co." then finally changed the spelling and became "Transistor sound and lighting co."
Transistor got a big-ass record deal from Vik/BMG a year or so ago and has just recently released the full-length self titled CD this spring.
Full of 16 short poppy songs, Transistor is certainly a different kind of band. Sure, they're rock, but they are very original in their music, for example in their song Good Egg Jay screams "Good egg good egg good egg!!!" through a telephone.
